I got my car repaired last Friday, (the blower motor needed replaced) everything went great and it was back before promised! Johnny did an amazing job with communication, he even gave me a ride to the shop to get it when the work was complete.
The service and communication was greatly improved from my visit last year for brakes.

The staff at Dykatra are phenomenal. The explain what you need to have done. As soon as you say ok they are on it. Parts ordered if needed and right to work. I wish more businesses had staff like this. It sure helps me when I know I can trust when they tell me something needs to be fixed and it gets fit right the first time.
My check engine light came on and I stopped by on a Thursday afternoon, the mechanic stopped what he was doing to help me with my issue. He ran some diagnostics and found no serious issues with my vehicle, he cleared the error code and didn’t charge me. I was in and out within 10 minutes. Would definitely stop by again if I had issues with my vehicle!

Needed brake service ASAP . Went to South side first , unfortunately they were short staff and told me they could get me til following wed. So I went to see John at the other store and after he talked to his chief mechanic he said he could do it later that afternoon . Needed a patch on my tire. Never been here before but was driving by and decided to see if they could get it done quick since I working my sales route and didn’t have time to wait around. I was in and out in 20 minutes. While waiting I was talking to them about installing a hitch on my equinox and they told me they couldn’t do it because they weren’t insured for it. They researched what estimated parts and labor costs would be and what they would charge if they could. Now I know what I should expect to pay for the install. To top it off they didn’t charge me to fix my tire. Would give 10 stars if I could!

Brought my Acadia in to have A/C system checked for a possible leak because it blow 60 degree. Mark check it fought no leak recharge the A/C system now nice and cool at 50 degree. Thanks guys for doing a wonderful job.

First time using this shop and I was not disappointed. I live alone, so dropping a car off for service usually means an Uber ride. They were kind enough to drive me home and pick me up. I paid a fair price for the service. I will definitely use them again.
I've been taking my vehicles to Dykstra's Auto (formerly Lentz, in Lansing) for over 12 years now. There are nothing but great things to say about Rick and the crew! Service speed and quality of work have always been exceptional, prices are fair, and they don't nickle and dime you.
Because of their diligence and commitment to the job, I was even given a heads up on (visible) things before serious problems began. After two long-life vehicles under their care (the current one just hit 279,000 miles), I will definitely be taking my future auto service needs to them!
I was so concerned when LENTZ was (bought/taken over by) Dykstra and I was thrilled to see my old friends Rick and Mike running the show. They've been taking care of me for 20+ years and they're so kind. It's fairly priced, no dealership malarkey trying to upsell you, just a clean, safe place to get your car fixed.
I stopped in this morning because my side mirror got clipped and I couldn't get it back on. 15 minutes and $0 later, it's fixed. Like I said, they take care of me.

These mechanics are legit! They don't sugarcoat, and they don't up sell. I believe they are very honest and I feel comfortable going there for excellent service. Richard is very helpful and patiently explains what needs to get done on your vehicle. I love the outstanding detailed reports I receive on the status of my vehicle systems. It's also great that repairs and maintenance are reported to carfax.
It's been a little over a week since i took my car in for repair so a little late posting this. The guys there are amazing!! They got a quote to me quickly and had my car repaired the next day. Answered questions and where willing to help me when insurance refused to pay the bill. I hardly ever write reviews, but I can say this will be my go to shop from now on. I was amazed at how quickly they repaired my car and friendly everyone I spoke to was.
