I cannot express my Thankfulness and Gratitude enough to the entire staff at Jerry's Automotive .. my brother just bought a new to him used car ..it suffered a break and needed repaired ... not only did Chris help us get it right in but offered us a courtesy vehicle while my brothers was in the shop. After many years of owning vehicles of my own and needing repairs done i can whole heartedly say that I have never been treated as well and been part of the process and completely informed as to each detail as I have with my experience at Jerry's . I was purchasing a truck through a local dealer and wanted a second opinion about it before purchasing. The crew at Jerry’s did a very thorough inspection and they found several things that the dealership inspection didn’t. I was impressed with the quality of work and detailed report with pictures. I’m very pleased with the service and glad I took it to them.
As a single woman, this is exactly what I look for. HONESTY, respect, an incredibly clean and well managed shop, text message status updates and work overviews throughout the process, and no surprises. A courtesy car is offered when available. 498$ for a inspection and serpentine belt that cost between 28$-78$ and I left with missing lugnuts and lugnut covers. Granted I am not 100% sure that it came in with them although I am pretty positive, regardless i told them i was going on a 1400 mile round trip road trip and wouldve loved to have all my lugnuts even if i wouldve had to pay for them. Also left with loose lugnuts according to the tow truck driver that came after I got a flat tire on the way home "that I do not blame on the shop. Damn lansing roads"
The guys at Jerry's got my Expedition done in record time! Clear communication from everyone I needed to talk to, easy scheduling with their site and my vehicle issues were dealt with quickly from start to finish. I had an oil change, tires rotated and 60,000 mile check up. As always work done in a timely manner. I have been coming to Jerry’s for years and Mike has worked on all of our cars in the past years. I would recommend Mike and Jerry’s to anyone.
Jerry's is my repair shop I have bern using them for many years. They have always fit me in within the week and repairs have only taken 1 day. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and will explain what needs to be completed with no pressure. I would highly recommend this repair shop.

Chris and his staff always go above and beyond. Top notch services both in repairs and customer service. Anytime I need anything as simple as an oil Change it a more serious repair I know I can trust these guys to handle it with honesty and fair pricing!
Unfortunately and fortunately, I found that Jerry’s was overcharging me by hundreds, even for lesser quality parts, which makes me think there were hidden fees involved. Anyway, I got my car to a trusted mechanic nearby (who didn’t have Girl Scout cookies or cards) and he did the repairs for hundreds of dollars less and I got new wipers and a new wiper pump and still saved money. I would definitely make sure you price check, unless you don’t care about being overcharged. For me, it was the principal of it. While cards and Girl Scout girls are “nice,” it’s more about the actual service. So don’t let the card and Girl Scout cookies cloud your vision, unless you want it to, and that’s all up to you. I’m only posting this because I see that there are many great reviews, which is why I got my car taken here in the first place. So I see my review is needed as a “beware to price check or risk overpaying.”
Very appreciative to Jerry’s Garage for all the help with my car. They answered every time I called, and answered every text I sent within A short time period. I was very impressed with the level of service I received, and how responsive the entire team was.
Started having some rear break issues a few hours from home.. stopped in at Jerry’s and they were fantastic, everyone I spoke to were super nice! They got me in the next day knowing I had to drive back to Canada… exceptional service!!
Came to get a second opinion on my car after an inspection at a certified Honda service center. The owner Chris was very pleasant to work with and very honest. My car is used “new to me” and I am looking forward to taking it back here for a full inspection. I really feel like these guys are trustworthy and would recommend them.
I came across Jerry’s from a quick google search and was impressed by the reviews. We had an unidentified issue going on with a family wheelchair van that needs to be extra safe on the road. They got me in within a few days and did a comprehensive check on everything, which I’m so grateful for as the van was purchased second-hand and we hadn’t ever gotten an assessment. For a super fair price, they quickly gave me peace of mind that we could get the van back on the road safely. I will absolutely continue going to Jerry’s for service needs! They were wonderful!!
This was my first visit to Jerry’s and I was very impressed. I took my Silverado in for some brake work and a new tire and they were awesome. They were honest and informed me that my breaks still had lots of life on them and I didn’t need to replace them at this time. They were able to provide a new tire, balance and alignment for a very reasonable price. The customer service is extraordinary! Proven by the thank you card and cookies waiting for me in my truck!

Had an amazing experience overall! I got an appointment in a few days, they were strong with communication and the repair was quick with same day pickup! The price was market reasonable. Had a hiccup when I went to pick it up and there was an added issue, really frustrating at first, but I was able to bring it back in next morning and they took care of it asap without issue and no extra charge since it was just a malfunction from the new sensor. They were apologetic for the extra trouble and I was so thankful they were able to fix the problem so quickly! So happy to have ice cold AC again! The owner was really nice, attentive, and dedicated to service. Thank you Chris and the Jerry's team!
Jerry’s did a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) for my nephew’s first car and found a bunch of things that needed repair.
The cost was reasonable, the team was professional, and thanks to the PPI we got all the major things repaired by the dealer.
But what was incredible is that we brought the car back to have the Jerry’s team make sure the dealer had repaired what they said they would - it was quick so the guys did it for no charge.
Jerry’s could have charged us for the second inspection, could have said more needed repairing and charged us for that - instead, they checked the work, said we were good to go and sent us out the door happy and well served.
This place is pretty awesome. I walked in and immediately felt relief from the blistering heat, it smelled good, the entire business area was clean, landscaped, and well organized, I definitely enjoy walking it !

First Class repair shop. They did a thorough inspection at a reasonable price on my older, high-mileage Toyota. Provided peace-of-mind and reassurance that my vehicle was in good shape. Inspection revealed that a serious problem ID'd by a quick-oil tech was no problem at all, saving me $1K or more. Highly recommended.

Jerrys was able to take me in the same day and even made sure all my fluids and ac blew cold! I had my car with in a day. That was with them fixing all 4 of my tires, rims, fluids, oil change, battery check, axel and cv check, engine check and ac!! They charge reasonably lower than the other shops and even communicated with me despite the busy schedule! When i dropped my car off there were 14 other cars coming in. The fact they had me up and going in a day suprises me.
Had my classic 49 Mercury in for routine maintenance n inspection including an ignition switch replacement! Although they were unable to fix the ignition, no fault of effort, all other items were completed. During the inspection, unfortunately, items were found that are going to cost more than I was prepared to spend @ the moment. I wouldn't hesitate to bring any of my vehicles back! Wow! Super impressed with the work and the price. I rarely write reviews if ever but I felt it was necessary for several reasons. Number one would be the promptness of the service appointment and the one day turnaround on a difficult job. Two, the price for the work was very fair compared to other quotes. Three, the people are very nice and professional on the phone. And finally, much to the delight of my wife when she opened the door to get in the car there was a thank you card and a box of Girl Scout cookies as a gift. Crazy and very cool. Thanks guys. I’m not originally from Lansing and Usually have a hard time, trusting mechanics due to past situations that I’ve dealt with and going to Jerry’s was a breath of fresh air. They were so welcoming and understanding, they sent me videos of exactly what needed to be replaced from urgent to future repairs. I can definitely say I will be going back for any other repairs that I need on my cars because I feel like I am being told the truth and kept in the loop every second of my car being with them. I also enjoy the updating text messages. I spoke with Leroy for most of the time and he was absolutely amazing along with the owner Chris! I recommend going to Jerry’s automotive to get any repairs done on your vehicle.

Jerry's Automotive have serviced several of my classic cars, specialty vehicles and daily drivers and they do not disappoint. Chris, the owner, is the absolute best at customer service. The staff are professional, friendly and certified. Chris always gives a follow-up call to confirm that the problem was solved and that I was pleased with the service. This is a standard that I experienced for three generations of that family. Chris even gives a CHRISTmas and New Year's call to say thank you for the business.
