The Lansing Recycling Center has always taken care of me. Prices are always up front and fair. Staff are always helpful. They do a great job of keeping the unloading area clear for your vehicle tires. All around a great experience.
The website clearly states that Lansing Recycling Center buys car batteries, copper, brass etc. After unloading my batteries the guys told me that they haven't paid for anything since COVID. 5 years and the website hasn't been fixed! ? What a waste of my milage and time.
Wow! What a GEM!! Needed to dispose of an old playset and this was perfect!! The signs were very clear, they were extremely helpful, told me exactly what to do and could not beat the price! 10/10 recommend for getting rid of bulky items.
Great place. Roll up and they take a look at what you have to give you a price. They take your payment and have you pull up to a dumpster or pile and unload. Fast and easy - super cheap for most garbage. Freon items were $25 each but regular trash was like $10 for a few bags.
My husband was upset at the new policy of not accepting composting material. But when I called to ask questions Eryn and Chris were extremely polite, understanding and helpful in giving me the information I was requesting. Excellent customer service. My husband tells me he likes this place and it's convenience it provides. For them to explain the reasons for the policy change, it made it easier for an understanding. Although my husband was not fond to hear of but can understand it and it helped us be able to conclude we will continue to use the services provided by Lansing Recycling. Thanks Chris and Eryn.
I dump shingles here a few times a week with a dump trailer. Very fair pricing and an outstanding staff who are always willing to help. Wish they had a public restroom.
I've been going here for a few years now. Even when they're busy, I don't mind the wait because they are so easy going and polite. Prices are incredibly reasonable. This place is the reason I stopped going to Granger. I've even got an offer to buy my van from one of the employees Sorry, but the van ain't going anywhere but my driveway lol!
Be careful I have rented a 10 yards dumpster for $375 which is I always rent 20 yards for $375 from Canol Dumpster they delivered it on Monday evening, and picked up the empty dumpster with my materials inside of it Monday morning before even that seven days they are saying. I had the worst experience with Lansing Dumpster and Recycling. If you call their Customer service representative they are very rude.

Best spot around Lansing. They take it all and get you in n out very quick! A steady sometimes lined up stream of vehicles with an average 10-15 min dump/unload time.
Dumpster received in a timely manner. Driver was very courteous, answered all my questions. Made sure I was happy with placement of dumpster . When I had to ask for an extra day, because new furniture delivery was delayed( which they didn’t know). “No problem, one day? We won’t charge you for that this time. I will ALWAYS use this service. Best price in town to boot! If I could give more stars I would.
I haven't been to this place yet. Saw it the other day when driving past it. So I called today and the guy on the phone was very helpful and nice. Didn't act at all like I was taking up his time asking dumb questions. (Which i always do the 1st time I try a company to see how well they treat individuals who aren't knowledgeable with what ever their company is offering). I've been scrapping for a long time and have dealt with some companies that just don't care how they treat the public. Which discourages people to use their services in the future. This company obviously DOES care and WANTS your business. So far I do highly recommend checking them out for yourself. I'm going to go take a load in tomorrow and check em out. I will post another review on their facility when I get done. If anything like the experience I had on the phone I feel it will be a good experience for sure. I will up the stars to 5 if all goes as well as I think it will.
This place ALWAYS has great prices and an outstanding crew. I am a contractor and have been going here for several years. Matt there is always effecient and gets things done. I wouldn't go anywhere else even if it was a bit of a drive.
Recently I lost my wallet there and after calling, they searched and found it within minutes. These guys are awesome!
Great staff, great prices. Couldn't have been easier to dump construction garbage (shingles, boards, etc). No trash in the drive to puncture tires or rough up your vehicle, a fantastic business!
They responded fast and gave us a good up front price on our dumpster rental. They were extremely helpful when I needed more time. I would highly recommend their service.
I brought in a bag of clean bare copper and they offered me $9 for 6 pounds (it was actually 8 pounds but I understand their scales are designed to weigh much heavier items). I was not pleased with the offer even at 6 pounds so I told the man at the counter I would not like to go forward with the transaction. He then told me “it’s too late! The copper has been dumped!”, “JUST SIGN!”, “YOU ARE WASTING OUR TIME HERE!”. Believe it or not the guy actually threw the $9 at me after yelling at me to hurry up and sign. Avoid this place if possible. Take your scrap somewhere else if you can. They pay low prices and take rude to a whole new level.
We use Lansing Recycling for all of our disposal needs! They have an awesome and friendly staff working on site with quick and easy drive-through service. We have dumped everything from furniture to household trash with no issues and no hidden fees. We also use them to dispose of scrap metal and they offer reasonable prices for what they will buy. Recently we rented one of their 10' dumpsters and the delivery was quick, professional, and (again) no hidden fees after. I would highly recommend Lansing Recycling Center to everyone!
Lansing Recycling as always come through as a place to receive my items in need of recycling! Their staff is top rate and the ease of drop off is very efficient!! This happened an hour ago-I called about disposing of an old microwave and the gentleman said, "Yes, bring it here". Twenty minutes later I pulled up and a gentleman came walking towards me, and I spoke. He says to me, "You're the lady that called about the microwave", as he went to open the back door. I was shocked....he'd remembered my voice, even in the midst of being quite busy!

Today was my first time visiting this place. The young man who greeted me was super polite and directed me were to drop off my stuff. For a recycling center, I was surpised how 'clean' and organized everything was. I was there for maybe 10 mintes if that. Easy in and out. I will definitely be back :) Thank you for being nice to a newbie!
After some minor remodeling I had a truckload of construction debris to unload and contacted a few container companies where the price would’ve been in the $300-$500 range drop off and pick I contacted this company and was happy to hear they would take all of the debris I had, when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised with the affordable price and assistance that was given me. I don’t often have the need although should I ever again this will be my first stop I couldn’t believe how affordable clean and friendly this company was to work with. $42 for a large truck load including three toilets and a lot of heavy materials.
As a new business owner I have had alot of materials to dispose of. My partner and I believe it is very important to do our part, making environmentally conscious decisions. Lansing Recycling has friendly staff and great pricing. Scott is the gentleman that took care of us and made sure we had the best experience possible. Be sure to check prices first. I called to get a price before going, but their phone system would not connect me to a person, it just kept returning me to a previous menu. They claim competitive prices, but offered me 1/3 of Padnos price for aluminum. When I told them what Padnos was paying, they said they don't compete with Padnos. Will not waste my time with them again.
I am a contractor and this place has come in handy more than once! Great place to get rid of junk. They try to keep the floor clean so you don't get a flat tire, which doesn't mean much until you get one. On a big box truck no fun and expensive to fix.
