Came in 45 minutes before closing in desperate need of an alternator. Jacob went above and beyond to help me and take care of other customers as well. The store manager was patient and friendly as well. As an older woman, I've found an auto parts place I can trust.
Bad service. Will not be returning to this location. Called in and asked if I could come get some new windshield wipers installed. Was told I could, and said i'd be there within 10 to 15 minutes. 10 minutes later I walk into the store and ask about getting windshield wipers installed. Was told I could get windshield wipers, but couldn't get them installed here because the worker I talked to was the "only one here" despite walking past another worker as I entered, probably the female I talked to on the phone. As I said to the rude worker, I'll just go to another location or business. Not worth wasting my time here again.
Just left AutoZone to get a simple rear wiper blade replaced and Robyn was so helpful. At first another gentleman tried to get the casing off the blade and he couldn't and I'm grateful that he tried but then comes robyn. It took her no time at all to get it off. I had my own blade and she went and tried to put it on found out it was the wrong size so I had her look one up to purchase. That thing was so hard to put on. But this woman was diligent, she stood out here approximately 10 minutes until she got it on there. She has been very helpful and people with character like that are irreplaceable. Thank you Robin
I had the best help today from a gentleman named Derrick and also another young lady who assisted me today and they were awesome genuine people who was willing to help me with my car needs and parts. Have had multiple bad experiences here, most recent one was with a manager(grey shirt) jalean? I think her name was idk old larger lady , seemed upset I was even purchasing items at the store, as well as not very excited to type in my phone number for rewards after I prompted her I would like to use/check my rewards.
About a year ago I bought a set of wheel bearings for my truck from AutoZone and about six months after the fact one of the bearings failed to the point that my wheel fell off. Today I went to return a pick set I bought a couple weeks ago and they denied my return because I was walking around the store for a minute because there was a line and came back to return it and he wouldn’t except the return even though I had the receipt to back it up.
Most Auto Zones are a good place to go..., the employees are basically the problem..., don't really want to help, and do so with an attitude..., NOT ALL, but most. The young ones are good tho..., helpful and good attitude...
Great place to get all your auto care needs stop in there the other day the staff was friendly and help me find everything I needed they also lend you the tools u need to fix the part.
Came in to get a simple rear blinder bulb. Wasn’t exactly sure what type I needed but Ronald helped me track it down. Then we weren’t sure if we needed tinted or clear so I ran back out to check. Why out there Ronald was pretty sure i needed the tinted and there was only one set left so he was kind enough to grab it off the shelf for me. Came back inside and he offered to come out and also install it and 7:00 in 20 degree weather. Easy install but we realized the front was also out. So went back in and grab those and he still offered to come out and help. Apparently i have the worst type of access to change front blinkers, under the wheel well. I never would have been able to figure it out and switch them without Ronald. He helped me with everything and also showed me what i was doing so i could learn myself. Took us a whole hour but what would’ve been a terrible frustrating experience Ronald made a good one with jokes and tips through it all. Ronald loves helping people, loves cars, and loves teaching people about cars. Thank you Ronald and thank you AutoZone.

bought there for a battery for my pacifica I bought and got a new one for well over 200 duralast gold and it did the trick. Previous owner of car was very deceptive in his description of he actually did and didn't do. Always give any car u buy a good look over and get advice from trusted mechanic and make a great decision..
This location on MLK is terrible. I went in to try to rent a socket, the lady working there said very angrily "go look for it" and pointed to a box of random sockets behind the front corner. It was just a random box with no labels, and then said "that's all we have". Normally AutoZone comes with rental parts in an orange case and everything is stocked nicely in their store. The associates at normal AutoZone locations know what they have and where to locate it. They don't have random boxes behind a counter like this one had, with an angry person working there.
Just wanted to let everybody know this is the store to stop by Kitty Alvin and Michelle help me out when I overheated on the highway and got me home in one piece I'm definitely vague on where I was stranded but they managed to get me back to my car and got me home and Kitty personally gave me a ride back to my car in this gosh awful heat and it's greatly appreciated every single one of you
Went in there asking to purchase windshield wipers and get them installed. One employee started saying “no, it’s too cold, I’m not doing it, I’ve been doing it all week and not going to do install them, my feet are cold”. I told him that the website said they install them and he just kept saying the same stuff over and over again and that nobody’s given him a tip.
I understand that nobody wants to do it but if it’s part of your job you should. I do things at work that I don’t want to do but it’s my job and it’s what I’m paid to do.
The manager whose name was Craig had terrible customer service he was rude sold me the wrong part even though I told him I didn’t believe that was the correct part I’ve always shopped at your store but this particular location the manager wanted to argue back-and-forth. I just let them know I bring the part back. even when I brought it back, he did not apologize for his rudeness you guys lost my business and Word of mouth spread quickly
Came to this location and left satisfied! ROBERT is the man over here!! He's very helpful and has the patience to explain what you may need and he has a great personality. Thank you to whoever hired him because a lot of places do not work with people, they just send you a long the way

I walked in and was greeted by Lucas,who proceeded to help me find the items I wanted. He was helpful, he followed me to my car and tested my battery and quickly discovered it needed to be replaced. He offered to install the new one for free this just made my day better. He was very knowledgeable about cars. I highly recommend the Auto Zone on MLK for not only the wide variety of items they offer but also because of the friendly staff.
Jason helped me out when nobody else cared enough to understand my problem. He has a lot of patience dealing with everything and everyone and I'm so glad was there when I needed him. We need more people like him in this community!
Jason was extremely helpful. He provided excellent customer service to me and others who were in the store and in need of assistance. He checked my battery, starter and alternator. He also showed me a trick with the cabin filter to keep my car smelling fresh! I appreciated his help!
Zack was very helpful and friendly I was looking for a product called TuckVisor it’s a sunshade accessory you don’t carry it but he suggested I check the other stores or call costumer service and he said he would pass on the info to his manager I really hope you get the product thanks Zach for good costumer service
I frequent here. The staff that has remained for sometime knows me by name. I enjoy coming here because I'm familiar with the staff. However there is a decent change in other staff and they lack the customer service aspect most of the time. To be fair it's the Southside of Lansing and customers lack politeness at times as well. Talk to Greg or Alex. Ready and willing to help.
I was given the nearly $50 cheaper version. I returned to find out they never had the item in stock. Yes they did call the Cedar Street store and they had them and we got them but this wasted over an hour and two extra trips to to AutoZone's for really no reason. Except for the new Clerk had his head so out the door he could care less about the accuracy of my order.
I choose to patronize this establishment because of the wonderful service that I receive. The manager Craig has always left me to feel that he goes above and beyond to earn my repeated business. I notice how he models this level of professionalism for the newer, younger employees as they tend to pattern themselves accordingly. Thanks team!
