Regardless of the circumstances that it took to get us to this point, Able & Affordable came through and made my baby better than she was when they towee her away! Highly recommend using them for your repair needs! Def will take care of you ALL the way around
Gave him my car for a simple tire / control arm fix $750 got it back car wouldn’t turn over anymore I’ve never had that issue before going to him he then told me it was my alternator and starter charged me $650 more dollars to do that got the car back again still wouldn’t turn over then told me it was something else very disappointed my car never had any of these issues until he started working on it then he kept “finding” these issues with the car that was supposed to be the fix never was
Customer service is sub par. The way they talk to us as customers is outrageous.
I would recommend not using this company. They are entitled. Self absorb losers.
Not including how they treat their vendors for their second hand parts to repair customer vehicles.

Dont come here. First they told me it was something with my water pump and gave me a price, it wasn't the water pump, told me it was my clutch fan plate, gave me a different price ($200 more) only to have the "made in China" plate they used break off mid road trip. I took it somewhere else, fixed the same issue for $100 less and I was able to finish my 4 hour drive and drive another 6 the next day. Disorganized, used cheap parts, charged to much.
This dude is absolutely the worst. He will act friendly but if you could find anyone in town that he is cheaper than I will personally give you $1000 because he is the most expensive and most terrible mechanic in town. Literally a freak show would be nervous to bring any kids here. Very unprofessional and rude and will absolutely rip you off. He's also a meth dealer so watch out.
They have been the most helpful car shop I’ve been to. Very quick and thorough with their work. They are very accommodating and kept me company while I was there for a while. Offered to drop the vehicle off to me and keep it overnight at a low price. Great prices for the work they do.
Highly recommend. These guys are awesome. I needed a tow after my breaks were out. They came to my job to get my car keys. Then they went to a different locations to get my car that needed towed the car to a repair shop. They got it done very quickly. If you want easy to work with and affordable these are your guys.
I've never been taken advantage of or ripped off worse by a business in my life. He charged me $950 for what I was later told by multiple mechanics should have been a $300 job. He tried giving me a blank receipt and I said I need to know what I just paid for. He said come back in a few days and I'll have a receipt for you. I took that receipt to a real mechanic and he said 2 of the major parts they claimed to have replaced were NOT replaced. I hope they know karma is real.
These guys are awesome! Not only did they beat the price of everyone else I called, but they had my truck done before the promised time, even considering one of the parts was somewhat difficult to find. They even picked me up from home and took me to work while my car was being worked on! Now my truck is 100% and it wouldn't be without them. They made me feel like a VIP. I suggest them to anyone who wants to know where to get their vehicle serviced. Definitely 5 stars for the guys at Able and Affordable!

I would never recommend this place to anyone, they were very unprofessional and argued and cussed out my neighbor. The estimate they gave me was ridiculous. If I could give negative stars, I would. Also tried to over charge the fee for using my card and was corrected after I did the math for them. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Pretty sure the they didn’t even figure out the real problem
I needed help fixing a tire on the side of the road and someone came immediately and helped me! Saved me so much time and stress. He was very nice and it was reasonably priced. I was very grateful!

Before I met these guys, my car had been having a few issues with jumping forward and starting slowly for a few days - "eh, it's probably just the cold", I figured.
Nope.
I tried turning the key one night only to hear 'click click click': the telltale sound of a battery with no juice. I looked these guys up, and they showed up right quick, battery chargers in hand! After they hooked up the charger, they offered to take it into the shop and take a look. Not long thereafter, they let me know they had tested the alternator and battery, and gave me the rundown on all the options for repair.
When I went to pick up the car, the price was exactly as discussed. They also let me know all the things they noticed while testing it that might require additional repairs in the future, PLUS, they taught me how to diagnose a few basic car issues. All in all, I think they provided a pretty great experience.
Have had them do major work on two different cars. These guys are friendly and very honest. They'll give you the best price in town, get the work done properly and completely, and do it all very fast. An added bonus is that they're very good at texting and keeping you updated.
You gotta use these guys for your towing needs. Ken, the owner, exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond for me. I forgot the name of the other fella but he was extremely helpful too. This is an honest neighborhood business that is treated with respect.
I love the owner he’s been a community staple for years and is always helping others in the community making sure cars are up and running and that you’re not stuck on the side of the road. The mechanic was great he did my tune up and got me back on the road looking for good service check them out
My car broke down on a Friday afternoon. I needed to have to towed and Able & Affordable was there to take the car in less then 30 min. By the time I had gotten home, the team at the repair shop had determined what was wrong. They gave me a great price on the repair - 4 ball joints, and the car drives perfect! My car was ready for pickup on Monday afternoon.

Able and Affordable is awesome. They fixed my car in a very timely manner and worked with me on some other things that needed done! I couldn't have asked for a better mechanic. They went above and beyond for me and my car without me asking. They are definitely not like othe mechanics. They arent trying to just get you for your money, and actually care about the person driving the car. They were flexible and had a lot of knowledge about cars.
I found myself late in the evening with a flat tire. Nothing open to fix and or replace it. While passing by seen they were open stopped in and not only did they help me out after hours. They went above and beyond with extra attention to details. Didnt try to take advantage due to my situation with some crazy price. Really helped me out in a crunch. Stand up guys,

I'm a delivery driver in East Lansing, I've used Able & Afordable twice now in the past few weeks and I won't be going anywhere else in the future. Great guys that do excellent work! My Chevy prizm delivery car was damaged quite bad in the snow bent(control arm, shocks, links) and after being quoted almost the worth of the car elsewhere to fix it; Able managed to quote me under half price on the dealership prices. Was so happy with my service on that car I took my chevrolet trailblazer down for all new brakes and on top of that the guys gave my car a full inspection, and drive test with me in the car. This was to find the cause of a minor metal on metal rubbing noise which was found to be coming from broken plastic body pieces rubbing against the tire and rotor causing uneven wear. the new rotors and pads solved the braking problems and repairs on the broken panel will not allow this to happen again. Recommend these guys to anybody! Had my repairs done very fast! Trailblazer was a few hour turnover and my prizm was complete the morning after they picked it up, Oh yeah did I mention they picked my car up out of the driveway for less than any other tow service? Really happy I found this place!

I won't speak bad about this place.... But I'll just stick with my regular mechanics at outback automotive if they are booked I'll just wait because $1,200 is toooo much money to be spending on guessing something that wasn't even the problem I needed a engine then I got the run around I was told that they had one around the corner then he told me he never said that... I mean they could of at least offered all or some of my money back or fixed the problem themselves free of charge they could of stole a GOOD paying customer but to each it's own...The people are friendly though...
I took my sons car there and they had it for 6 weeks and didn't fix nothing they stole my sons money. I had to have it towed out of there because they kept asking him for more money and come to find out the engine was blown and my son was giving them money for nothing I wouldn't even take a bicycle there they are terrible people and so money hungry.
