Called to ask about getting a splash shield looked at—mine was dragging after having to drive through a storm. I explained I wasn’t sure if it needed a full replacement or just reattachment. The tone on the phone was… interesting. Not overtly rude, but definitely not welcoming.
Then came the quote: $145 a hour just to take a look. No work done, just for the privilege of stepping into the shop. That seemed unusually steep, so I made a few more calls. Another place (Low Cost Auto Repair in Lansing) quoted me $65—and got me sorted same day (reattached the piece), no attitude.
Can’t speak to the quality of the work here because I obviously didn’t stick around long enough to find out. But it’s always fascinating who gets quoted what, and how.
H&H is competent, reliable and trustworthy. They do a conscientious job of tracking down a problem, determining if parts are needed, and then comunicating their recommendations.
You can be confident trusting them with your vehicle.

H&H was recommended to me by Discount Tire when my car needed its studs looked at & potentially replaced. It was easy to make an appointment and drop my car off with them. They promptly contacted me when the service was finished and provided me with an itemized receipt showing what each service had cost. Very easy process.
Thank you to Nate (I believe that's the name) for helping to open my car after I left my car keys inside! It's honestly been about a year since I last locked myself out of my car. I was remotely tutoring students inside the car and had to leave and then locked myself out... I'm not even ashamed of it. Happens to the best of us, lol. Nate came friendly, humorous, made sure I was updated and aware. My Toyota Camry was a little tough to get into because it had some anti-theft lock technology. But he was able to get it done! Thank you, Nate! And thank you h&h mobil towing. I utilized them through Allstate roadside assistance. :-)

100% no recommend, shirking responsibility, no sense of responsibility. My car is rear-drive and I just wanted to ask how my car was towed and if it landed on the rear wheel. The clerk, fearing damage to my vehicle, refused to offer any help, not even to make a phone call. I called to leave a message for consultation, did not get any reply, such a shop is 100% not recommended.
Bob and his team were amazing, from arranging for a tow pick up at my home and moving fast on a diagnostic to figure out the problem and repairing my car. I have always taken my car to the dealership but have felt lost in the shuffle, with constant issues arising that weren’t an issue prior to visits leaving me feeling taken advantage of for that loyalty. I have found a new trusted place to take my car!
They were extremely easy to work with, showed up with friendliness and compassion, and got the job taken care of fast and efficiently. They even towed my car into a kind of weird spot, which impressed me!
Lady at the front desk was really short and rude, literally muttering insults under her breath. My car was towed while I was parked in my own work parking lot (not the tow companies fault; just doing their job) but when I paid for my car, and requested a picture of my car when it was towed (I need proof of the spot I was parked in) the owner denied giving me that picture. The only way I can get the picture is to go through courts, and I need that picture so my building owner can get this sorted with our neighboring building owner. This company loves to be difficult and actually enjoys screwing people over, they scour college kids for over $370 (my job covered my bill because again, they’re our parking spots), my problem isn’t even with the tow itself, but they choose to be difficult and it’s inhibiting the progress of fixing the situation that actually matters- the dispute between our building owners. The address that it states I was parked at is legitimately incorrect, and I have no qualm with the tow company, but I need that picture to go prove it to the people who called and had my car towed. I was parked at my job, in the same spots I’ve parked in since June, and this company has been nothing but a rude, expensive headache.
Use literally any other tow company, I bet you’ll find people who are less miserable and therefore treat you with a little more respect and decency. I’ll be going through the courts to get that picture of where my car was parked, but it’s because of this company that I’m missing classes and have to spend so much extra time fixing this situation.
To the owner, if I were you I would pick a different occupation. Your attitude is trickling down to your employees. It’s crazy that I can pay for my car in full, and you won’t provide me information I need to go and solve a separate problem that doesn’t even involve your tow company. I don’t care about the black and white legalities where you’re technically in the right, you’re not a nice person and you run a poor business.
Slid into median of highway in rush hour traffic. Called towing service in Laingsburg and they hung up on me because I couldn’t give GPS coordinates. Called H&H next and they were there in less than 20 minutes. The lady on phone was very helpful and the tow truck driver was great. He was calm and professional and got me back on the highway in no time at all. I highly recommend this service.
Have tried a few other garages in the area and not been super happy with the service. Neighbors recommended H&H and they lived up to their reputation. Booking was easy, and they did a comprehensive check of the vehicle. Most importantly, they were able to diagnose and fix an issue that my car had been having for several months and nobody else had been able to fix. I will be a returning customer.
A wonderful experience, they were really quick and made an excellent temporary repair of a bent splash guard that held until I could get to a dealer for specialized parts. Really nice people, 10/10 would recommend
Had a great experience with one of your operators! My wife slid off I69 due to ice on the road. He came out quickly, did a great job with the winchout, and was very personable. From one tow operator to another, I thank you! Stay safe and warm!
Great mechanics, have always done right by me and always on time with their estimates. Josh has really done a great job leading the mechanics, I didn’t need service for a few years so it was great to come back to a familiar face who has a cohesive team working under him. I believe Jared is the mechanic who fixed my car and he did a great job from diagnostics to the actual repair. He was even kind enough to look into a couple other concerns I had and give me peace of mind.
Will definitely be back when my car inevitably needs work again!
I was able to get a next day appointment for oil change. I waited in the station and was out in less than an hour. H&H has cared for this car for 12 years and it is still running great!

They are super expensive, but I can tell you it’s worth every penny. A lot of places try to nickel and dime you, but they keep it real with you. If you have an older car that has a lot of problems they will help you figure out what is priority and what can wait to be fixed. I have had nothing but great experience with them and the mechanics do a great job! Also too, if you need a ride there to pick up your car they will come get you and if you drop your car off and need a ride home they will take you home as well:) Not sure if they still do it, but they have for me in the past and I think that’s great!!
Just worked with these guys today. Called this morning to request the tow, phone call was short and sweet, and the tow driver was on site within 30 minutes. A lot faster than expected! I signed for the service and then an invoice link was sent to me in a text after the vehicle was dropped off and I was able to pay for the service with my phone. After an extremely stressful and frustrating week I appreciate H&H being so helpful, punctual, and competent! I’ll definitely recommend and use this service in the future.
I had the battery drop dead on my SUV. Not a convenient time (it never is) as I had an important meeting to attend. H & H Mobil was very busy but Josh Clayton took the time to take care of me in the early morning and send me on.my way. Thanks H & H Mobil & Josh!
Great experience, thanks to Service Manager Bob for setting appropriate expectations, listening to our concerns, quickly diagnosing and advising on repair options with transparency and professionalism, listening to our vehicle (which told him it needed a small added fix that did wonders for the driving experience) and getting our new driver’s used vehicle back on the road promptly. We could not have asked for more. Family-owned and operated H&H will be our first stop for all future auto repair and maintenance. Thank you, H&H!!
