I have only used Northside Towing because they've never let me down. Whether it be recovering a wreck, they happen, or moving a car that died Northside is quick, quality, and their prices are fair.
Just had Northside assist me with a tow on my car that had broken down in a garage. They have one of the smallest tow vehicles in the area and I'm so thankful that they have this...because of the tiny truck we were able to get the car towed to the mechanic lickety split.
Incredibly fast service with clear communication the whole way. Would absolutely go with Northside again even outside of insurance needs. Thank you!!
Northside flatbed driver just ran a red light and cut off four lanes of traffic by Frandor. Not sure if I even need to leave this review since you guys are going to run out of drivable trucks with drivers that reckless.
First off, very expensive to tow a car a 15 miles to a shop where I need it fixed. Second, its a garbage practice to say you can pay with cash to the tow truck driver yet they don't even carry change!! Not everybody is going to pay with a credit/debit card.
Personally they are my go to place for help, locked keys in car flat tire, dead battery, vehicle won't run-towed car on flatbed & recently sorrily, an accident. Usually they show up way earlier than approximate wait time I'm given. I'm handicapped & the guys have always treated me with kindness & respect. Unsure about charges because my road service reimburses me. Towing on flatbed was $ 175, Dodge Neon.
So tonight I got a tow from a awesome driver from my job to the north end of town and I must say the driver radar as he stayed at his name was was very friendly and also showed up in a timely manner even with the weather how it is tonight took less than 7 minutes to get my car hooked and on the truck safely and also gave me a ride home and even parked my car in a parking spot in a timely manner I would say that my experience with Northside was a great one tonight once again thank you radar hope you have a safe night and thank you again for getting me home safely and also my vehicle we're definitely recommend him he is amazing I know if I need another till I will definitely be calling for him
What an amazing service. They are patient, polite whole getting you off the freeway. All other places asked me 300$/400$ more than this guys. I was surprised and happy how cheap and fair their towing services are. Jordan came to the rest area where my semi died. Amazing dude with great service. GLOBE TRANSPORT!! THANK YOU GUYS
Northside was the only 24 hour service around who answered at 3am! They drove a ways to come help me in a freak incident in horrible weather. Brandon was able to help quickly and safely!

I called Northside after another tow company gave up after an hour trying to unlock my doors. The man showed up popped the doors in 2 minutes.. It was amazing. Would definitely recommend them.
We just had the best experience with Justin (JC)! He was so kind throughout the whole experience, was up to help us move a janky old truck we love to a tight space and never once complained. He was awesome to watch in action, it was like a master doing his craft. We will be suggesting this towing service to anyone needing it. I was stranded on north 127 on Friday eve around 4:30 . Traffic bad. North side of Lansing was there in a timely matter. Mikey the tow driver was kind and courteous and very helpful.
I was going to get my car towed because I couldn’t put my spare on but the guy who came to tow my car I forgot his name such a great guy put the spare on for me and helped me save some money. I thought my lug nuts had locks on them because a friend told me that’s why he couldn’t change my tire but this dude actually helped me save money as a college student
Great job Northside Towing! I was stranded in shopping parking lot. My insurance company sent Northside Towing. They came quickly. The person they sent was Zack. He was professional,friendly and knowledgeable. He drop me off at my residence and then took my car to my mechanic.Thanks for making a stressful Monday, a little less stressful.
I called Northside after hitting a pothole on 496 yesterday. The driver was able to get to me within about 15 minutes. The call receptionist and driver were both friendly. Reasonable price. Great experience.
I had a great experience with Northside Towing in Lansing! Even with all the confusion we ran into, their crew handled everything with patience and professionalism. Do not take your car here. Pieces of broken cars everywhere in the back where the cars get towed too so you’re driving on glass and plastic hoping to not break your car. The people inside are disrespectful and rude. Will never come back and will never tell anyone to come here. Save yourself and your car by going to somewhere else. Open all night yet you can only pick up your car until 6 pm. Ridiculous. Very bad service.
My husband got hit while pulling out trailer. The trailer did not make it .Northside came out and completely cleaned everything up didn't miss anything. They did such a great job. I was amazed. Thank you so much
I want to share that this by far has been my best roadside experience. My daughter was locked out of her car with a dead phone. Not only did they get her back into her car but they also took the time to figure out what lot she was located. Initially, they couldn’t find her because her phone was dead and there was no way to communicate. They came back again to try., figured out where she was and made sure she got in. As a mom thousands of miles away and with no control to make sure I she was warm and safe, I am beyond appreciative of everything they did. Thank you!!

I called another towing company and was quoted an hour. After an hour and 15 minutes I called back to be told it was going to be another 45 minutes so I canceled it. I called Northside and they came out immediately. The gentleman who came was awesome. He was friendly and extremely helpful. He towed my vehicle to the mechanics and even filled out the envelope for the mechanic and put my keys in the drop box for me. Highly recommend!
Our company has worked with Northside Towing in Lansing for 4 years. Within the last month they have attempted to charge us for services they did not perform, on more than one occasion. Most recently, we called them to break into a vehicle that the keys were locked in. After 3 hours, the tech that they sent could not get into the vehicle. Around this time, we found a spare and were able to get in to the vehicle ourselves. Northside followed up with a $75 bill. $75 to break into a local vehicle is high to begin with, not to mention they were not able to get into the vehicle. I called the owner’s grandson (Chad, owner of Northside in St Johns,MI) he told me he could knock down the bill to $50 but since he sent someone out he had to pay them. I agree 100% that he needs to pay his employee, however if you are called for service and you cannot complete that routine service, you should not be sending invoices. When I told Chad that I did not think it was fair for me to pay, he told me not to ever call Northside Towing again. They have raised prices significantly as well.
Worst company ever. Damaged the car right in front of me. Drive was at fault. Hooked it up wrong. Followed wrecker straight to office. They refused to repair damage. Claimed not responsible for their driver causing the damage. Went to repair shop. Spent $1800 on the damage they caused. New radiator and ac condenser later. Don't recommend to any one
Called KIA to have our EV6 picked up and delivered to dealer. Dustin got the call and interrupted his dinner to take the call. He surprised us how quickly he showed up! Dustin was very friendly and helpful. I’ve used Northside in the past and will use them in the future! Very happy with their service!
Terrible! We were told by our insurance agent that our car would be towed off their lot in 23-48 hours. My husband called at 8pm on October 14 to see when to get our personal items from the car. They said he could come between 8am-6pm and that my husband would have to authorize our car being towed off their lot. My husband showed up to get our personal items at 945am (19 hours after our adjuster told us 24-48hours) on October 15. He arrived to our car being gone, along with all of our personal items. We DID NOT authorize our car to be taken. Dale was extremely rude and hung up on me after I told him we did not authorize it. He stated that there was a note my husband got our personal things out, when in fact we did not. I’m not sure yet if Dale is a longtime employee or owner, but wow! That was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We are currently not sure if our insurance company or Northside will be paying for the time my husband will have to take off work and gas to drive the hours to go get it, but we will not be paying for it. Last thing….. if Dale has insurance on his car, does that mean the insurance company can come pick up his car from his house and tow it without his knowledge?
Northside was very reliable, and efficient. They were so helpful in a pinch with responsive and quick dispatch of the BEST technician I could have asked for. Our technician was knowledgeable, quick, and very polite. Northside gets 5 stars hands down for this intersection!
Had to call northside today to have our boat towed from lansing back home to Brooklyn due to trailer failure. We were broken down on side of hwy after a long weekend fishing trip. It was a reallyscary and stressful situation for us. The Tow guy arrived with a friendly smile, kind words and a compassionate demeanor. He towed our boat safely back home! His kindness really did make our bad situation better. I was very impressed with their promptness, pricing and professionalism! I really hope I don’t need to call them again, but I wouldn’t hesitate if needed!
Frickin' fantastic. AAA left me stranded on the side of 96-W for three hours while tried to find a tow truck. After giving up on them, I called these guys. They quoted 30-45 minutes--fair! They showed up within 15 minutes. The technician was courteous and quick. He made sure everything was ready to go and blocked the lane for me to merge safely (it was 10:30 pm and dark). I really appreciate him changing my flat tire right then and there on a dark night in November!! I was hours from home and an hour from destination. Thank you so much!
