My husband got hit while pulling out trailer. The trailer did not make it .Northside came out and completely cleaned everything up didn't miss anything. They did such a great job. I was amazed. Thank you so much

Do not take your car here. Pieces of broken cars everywhere in the back where the cars get towed too so you’re driving on glass and plastic hoping to not break your car. The people inside are disrespectful and rude. Will never come back and will never tell anyone to come here. Save yourself and your car by going to somewhere else. Open all night yet you can only pick up your car until 6 pm. Ridiculous. Very bad service.
I called another towing company and was quoted an hour. After an hour and 15 minutes I called back to be told it was going to be another 45 minutes so I canceled it. I called Northside and they came out immediately. The gentleman who came was awesome. He was friendly and extremely helpful. He towed my vehicle to the mechanics and even filled out the envelope for the mechanic and put my keys in the drop box for me. Highly recommend!
I want to share that this by far has been my best roadside experience. My daughter was locked out of her car with a dead phone. Not only did they get her back into her car but they also took the time to figure out what lot she was located. Initially, they couldn’t find her because her phone was dead and there was no way to communicate. They came back again to try., figured out where she was and made sure she got in. As a mom thousands of miles away and with no control to make sure I she was warm and safe, I am beyond appreciative of everything they did. Thank you!!
Our company has worked with Northside Towing in Lansing for 4 years. Within the last month they have attempted to charge us for services they did not perform, on more than one occasion. Most recently, we called them to break into a vehicle that the keys were locked in. After 3 hours, the tech that they sent could not get into the vehicle. Around this time, we found a spare and were able to get in to the vehicle ourselves. Northside followed up with a $75 bill. $75 to break into a local vehicle is high to begin with, not to mention they were not able to get into the vehicle. I called the owner’s grandson (Chad, owner of Northside in St Johns,MI) he told me he could knock down the bill to $50 but since he sent someone out he had to pay them. I agree 100% that he needs to pay his employee, however if you are called for service and you cannot complete that routine service, you should not be sending invoices. When I told Chad that I did not think it was fair for me to pay, he told me not to ever call Northside Towing again. They have raised prices significantly as well.
This morning marked my third experience with this company through Alfa roadside assistance.
On every occasion, I have been met with nothing but professionalism and a person that had a good and respectable character.

They were amazing the towing guy Brian knew what he was doing and goes way above and beyond prices were great as well way more reasonable than some. Would highly recommend
Called KIA to have our EV6 picked up and delivered to dealer. Dustin got the call and interrupted his dinner to take the call. He surprised us how quickly he showed up! Dustin was very friendly and helpful. I’ve used Northside in the past and will use them in the future! Very happy with their service!
Worst company ever. Damaged the car right in front of me. Drive was at fault. Hooked it up wrong. Followed wrecker straight to office. They refused to repair damage. Claimed not responsible for their driver causing the damage. Went to repair shop. Spent $1800 on the damage they caused. New radiator and ac condenser later. Don't recommend to any one
Terrible! We were told by our insurance agent that our car would be towed off their lot in 23-48 hours. My husband called at 8pm on October 14 to see when to get our personal items from the car. They said he could come between 8am-6pm and that my husband would have to authorize our car being towed off their lot. My husband showed up to get our personal items at 945am (19 hours after our adjuster told us 24-48hours) on October 15. He arrived to our car being gone, along with all of our personal items. We DID NOT authorize our car to be taken. Dale was extremely rude and hung up on me after I told him we did not authorize it. He stated that there was a note my husband got our personal things out, when in fact we did not. I’m not sure yet if Dale is a longtime employee or owner, but wow! That was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We are currently not sure if our insurance company or Northside will be paying for the time my husband will have to take off work and gas to drive the hours to go get it, but we will not be paying for it. Last thing….. if Dale has insurance on his car, does that mean the insurance company can come pick up his car from his house and tow it without his knowledge?
Northside was very reliable, and efficient. They were so helpful in a pinch with responsive and quick dispatch of the BEST technician I could have asked for. Our technician was knowledgeable, quick, and very polite. Northside gets 5 stars hands down for this intersection!
Had to call northside today to have our boat towed from lansing back home to Brooklyn due to trailer failure. We were broken down on side of hwy after a long weekend fishing trip. It was a reallyscary and stressful situation for us. The Tow guy arrived with a friendly smile, kind words and a compassionate demeanor. He towed our boat safely back home! His kindness really did make our bad situation better. I was very impressed with their promptness, pricing and professionalism! I really hope I don’t need to call them again, but I wouldn’t hesitate if needed!
We had a long weekend dealing with car trouble and Northside was professional, quick, and the drivers were so polite even with some confusion of where we were at. They were definitely helpful and patient while we were dealing with different issues.
My daughter vehicle broke down in the middle of exit lane , we called for a tow , when the driver J.C. arrived, he was very knowledgeable and got the car on back of truck ,being careful with the broken wheel. I have used Npthside before with towing and repair, their employees (especially J C) are very polite and great at their work. I never been disappointed. I would recommend Northside any time. Two days ago, my partner and I were in a car crash. Unbeknownst to us, our car was towed to this location with our belongings inside. When we went to retrieve them, we encountered an unhelpful, overweight man (not to be rude, just stating a fact). Our items could have been easily retrieved, but we were denied access. Now, there is unnecessary confusion. My complaint is not with the entire business, but with the unhelpful man who was of no assistance.
Frickin' fantastic. AAA left me stranded on the side of 96-W for three hours while tried to find a tow truck. After giving up on them, I called these guys. They quoted 30-45 minutes--fair! They showed up within 15 minutes. The technician was courteous and quick. He made sure everything was ready to go and blocked the lane for me to merge safely (it was 10:30 pm and dark). I really appreciate him changing my flat tire right then and there on a dark night in November!! I was hours from home and an hour from destination. Thank you so much!
I called them after 11pm on a Friday, they showed up in less than half an hour. The driver was courteous and professional. I felt that the pricing was very fair, as well. I hope to not need a tow again but if I do, I know who I'm calling.
Northside helped me out after sitting on the side of the road for hours waiting for progressive road side to dispatch a driver. I called them they had a drive I called progressive back and they were dispatched and to my location within 30 min. Very professional and understanding.

Terrible !!! I called to have my car towed got to the dealership to pink my car up and my key was broken from the fob. Waited to hear from the supervisor e d up calling today and the best they can do is half to replace it smh it wasn’t in two pieces when the car was picked up so what the hell… never ever will I use northside towing again I will stick to using PJ’s
The staff has been very friendly and quick Johnny the driver came and fixed my flat. He was pleasant and worked efficiently. The prices are also reasonable Would definitely recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
