Adam Brewer is the rudest, worst, most fowl mouthed person I’ve ever encountered in any customer service field. He is hostile and aggressive! Don’t go here. He has lots of terrible reviews!

Needed money for my vehicle that they said they would be back tomorrow to come and get. If they didnt want it that's fine I'll take it to the scrap yard myself. But now I cant because the scrap yards are not open. I was dependent on that money to finish a job I have open. And they ultimately screwed me on level possible. THESE GUYS ARE HORRIBLE. WOULD NOT RECOMEND WASTING YOUR TIME. THEY WERE UNPROFESSIONAL ON EVERY LEVEL. When the guy showed up he first asked me about bike parts because he seen a bike in the driveway which had nothing to do with the cars he said he would be here to get. AVOID THESE GUYS AT ALL COST

This place is absolutely horrible! The lady on the phone was rude and unprofessional. I've been outside waiting on their guy to come get my car for over 2.5 hours. Pretty sure he just called it a night and went home. Go anywhere else and you will have better luck. Like seriously driving the car into a tree would be a better situation then dealing with this place!

Do not go here! Gave us a quote but didn’t tell us that quote was only good for 24 hours. Finally got the man to give us the original quote price. We set up a pick up for the next day. At this point he said the driver would be there from 9:30 to 10. We get a call at 9:30 stating the driver would be there from 9:45 to 10:30. We wait and wait and wait. Call again. The man gives us severe attitude and Continues to give us the run around about pick up time. Miscommunicating and not providing details at all. Just simply saying “you’ll know when I know.” To make a long story short, after getting a call that the driver is “on his way” and then having to wait another 20 minutes, we were fed up as we had plans to go out of town that day and we’re already 3 hours behind thanks to this lack of customer service. We finally call and tell him if he isn’t there in 5 minutes we are leaving. We he driver then magically calls to tell us he will be there in 15 minutes. We are fed up and say forget it. We then called you pull and save got 100x the customer service AND a $90 higher quote. I’ll never ever do business here.

I didn't know this place existed untill last week. I cannot give a worthy review without more experiences. The staff seems helpful, and the rates are comparable. I would call ahead if you are going in. It may help to have answers before you get there.

Absolutely stunned by some of these reviews. I had a van I needed to get rid of with a blown engine in the toledo area. I called the service peddle at 4:45. Brewer salvage called me at 515. The lady on the phone was super nice. She gave me a quote and I agreed. She said the night drivers were coming in and someone could pick it up that night. I asked what time, she was unsure but she said she could put a note down to have the driver call me with a more exact time. At 545 the driver called me and said he was leaving Lansing and he should be here by 8. At 745 he called and told me he was here. I went out, signed two things, he gave me the money they quoted, loaded the van and it was done. I can not say enough about the great experience I had with brewer salvage.

THEY NEED TO REPLACE THE MAN WHO ANSWERS THE PHONE. Plain and simple. This dude is a serious basket case. He answers the phone and starts rambling incoherently a bunch of rude and agressive non-sense before hanging up on you mid-sentence leaving you feeling abused, confused and totally bewildered. My advice to this company is FIRE the guy working with that phone immediately. And if the guy answering the phone is the owner then take my advice and hire a person who can do your customer service for. Because you are as bad anyone could POSSIBLY BE at dealing with customers. I am afraid you may be losing your mind.

This business is listed as two separate listings at the top of google. Probably paid for. And the guy was a complete jerk. I call and ask if they do part pulls and he replies “this is the second call I already told you I don’t sell parts” when I try to mention it’s listed as two separate businesses I get hung up on. Again. Seriously need to up your customer service.

Just followed a Brewer Salvage truck and trailer down down the highway for over 10 miles and have never seen such wreckless driving. We could see the car and trailer veer and cheat into all three lanes almost clipping several cars. We could see the driving holding up his phone the entire time. It took us three time to pass because he almost hit us twice! Even after honking our horn!

Picked up my car from a repair shop and the driver hit a parked car in the lot. The shop and I have been trying to get them to take responsibility for five days but no sign they will as of yet. The owner was horribly rude on the phone and told me that we should "file a stupid police report" if we don't like how they've handled things. Will do, thanks. It sounds like my experience is pretty common after reading some of these reviews. Yikes.

Probably the worst customer service I've ever had , actually was called a liar on the phone and to my face , not to mention told to get the F off my yard , and all could have been avoided by simply admitting a simple mistake was made , being in the retail business myself we all make mistakes , the big hurdle I guess for some is admitting them and trying to come to a happy medium , it's sad to see that poor of service and hope they can grow in there customer relations .

Sold my car through Peddle and was paired with Brewer Salvage to have them pay me and take the car. They followed up with a phone call almost immediately, and my car is picked up for the correct amount of the quote in less than 24 hours of inquiring. The driver was super nice, professional, and helpful as well.

One of the worst over the phone expierences I’ve ever had. As a person who works in retail, I’m not quick to anger when it comes to customer service, but three separate people that worked there were rude, aggressive, and unwilling to help me over the phone. At one point I asked for a supervisor, and was told “you’re talking to him lady”. I never rose my voice, swore, or even told them how rude they were being and that’s the way I was treated. Truely shocking that they are still in business. I implore you as a consumer to immediately search for another place of business, or if you have done business with them in the past to call the junk car referell company and tell them the horrible experience you’ve had, so that they never have to inconvience a customer again.

Frauds - they showed up with phony paperwork and cheated my daughter by 20%, and laughed about it afterwards. If you like being stolen from, this place is the BEST. Ask about the "aluminum wheels scam" it is their favorite!

They showed up when they said they would and paid the amount we'd agreed to over the phone which was more than any other company I spoke with. No issues, I would call them again if in need of this service.

Had brewer salvage out at my house last night. Kaitlynn had said they would be there around 5:30. Got a phone call from a guy (didnt get his name) around 8pm saying they were on the way an there was a mix up in scheduling. It does happen so I said ok. Driver kept contact letting me know his time of arrival. Which I thought quite professional. He arrived looked over the car, spoke about the car and I helped him load it up. My choice in the matter as I was just glad to see it leave my driveway. Driver was extremely nice, professional and courteous. Would do business again.

Called as they said they would to schedule an appointment, driver called on the road and gave us exact time and was at pickup spot as he said. Did title work, gave us cash, loaded it up and hit the road. As described.

These guys are awesome! Everyone I spoke to on the phone was polite and helpful. The tow truck driver, Willis, drove an hour and a half away to pick up my van, and he was friendly and professional on the phone and in person. I would definitely do business with them again!

I called to see if I could get a rim with a tire on it for a spare. He said"we don't sell tires" and hung up on me. Funny considering the picture shows a shop full of rims and old tires..

Don't use this service! They were supposedly coming to pick up our vechicle on 3 different occasions, when they finally did show we were expected to help the driver load vechicle and was told a completely accessible driveway was an impossible location. Destroyed our 5ft tall privacy shrubs and refused to clean up or replace them. Disgusted with how unethical and unprofessionally this "business" is operated.

false and unprofessional quotes given. a classic case of misquoting from the office when you call in and then not taking accountability when the driver gives yoi am undercut quote. i spoke with kaitlyn in the office on may 7 2017. she asked me questions about my 2002 pontiac Montana [ mileage, year, any flood or fire damage-none. she quoted me $275. which i thought was low but we verbally agreed on that price, based on the qurstiins thay she asked. the driver arrives later that day. says he can offer me $225. He said the cadalytic converter was an aftermarket and i didnt have steel hubcaps. mind you--when i asked kaitlyn what do they plan on doing with this car, she said scrap. she didnt ask anythung about catalytic converter neing after market or not--if so, i would happuly told her and she might have made the quote change. i would have been upset but clearly better off then gettimg bait and switched. i called the office while stephen, the ego-sh@thead that he was waited. i told kaitlyn we have a problem with the quote that she offered and we legally agreed to. she wanted to talk with stephen, the d&ckhead driver again. i put it on speakerphone so that i can hear whats going on.....is his sissy ass going to be chewed out again? but he discretely takes it off speakerphone and proceeds to talk with her, crawling under the car [ i dont kniw....maybe he's into that kind of thing). he comes back, disconnects the call and said that shes leaving the decision up to stevie-boy. wow, its that a case of pushing the responsibility off to someone else. kaitlyn, you disappoint me and shouldn't be working with decision -making empowerment if you cant stand by your word, verbal agreements and leave it to someone else. i asked the driver if we could compromise considering the misunderstanding with the original quote and kaitlyn refusal to own up to accountibility. steve would have nothing to do with any compromises as if it was his company alone. really. i know we want to be profit drivers in business but steve was taking it personal. thats not right. make sure if you do call this company, you get the drivers name and record the call. written agreements always work best but if its left to verbal commitment over the phone, recorded conversation is better then nothing. fox 2 news isnt bad either.

The manager Jason is very rude. Spoke with him on the phone inquiring about a part. He insisted they had and hung up on me but once I arrived they told me they don't have the part and hardly ever do. I wish I would have took heed to the google reviews.

Dealing with brewers was kool. I actually fell asleep on them the day before and yet they were very polite about it after driving a long distance. Driver was professional. I would do business with them again.

They did not show up to pickup a car three times, the first time with no notice, the second time it was rescheduled for that day, they called me 2 hours after pickup time to reschedule for the next day and just called me for a third time, when i tried to call back the woman there hung up on me 2 times and im still trying to get a hold of them.

These reviews don't even sound right? We buy thousands of cars a year not many people make reviews on this just the ones that have bad experiences it happens. 8 out of a 100000 people don't sound bad.

They drove all the way from Lansing to were I was in the Kalamazoo, MI area to pick up my car I didn't want. I got cash on the spot which was the same amount that was agreed upon. The gentleman that picked up my car was fast, efficient and professional. This was my first time dealing with any type of business like this and from start to finish I was impressed! I spoke with Crystal over the phone who was very nice and informative about the whole process including patient enough to answer some questions I had about my title. I would definitely do business with them again!

Lady who answerd the phone was rude. I ask a salvage yard about used parts and i get a snotty attitude about how they font sell used parts. Then i mention that they should state that on the add because it is misguiding. She replies yeah good bye.

I was told on the phone I would get 225.00 for my van. I had sold a older model 4 month ago for 265.00 to a another salvage company. but I needed it gone today so decided to take less. I signed my title and had to leave it with my daughter to give to the man coming with the tow truck. When he got here he gave her only 185.00 and said my van had an after marker cadillac converter so it would be 40.00 dollars less. This van came with 4 tires less than a year old,an electric starter and new battery. I will never do business with them again and if I would have been home would of told them they could not have the Van. I feel they took advange of my daughter (she's 24) and did not know how to handle the money difference.

Definitely do not do business with Brewer Salvage! I called to get a quote on my 1997 Dodge Stratus. It was the third place I called. The first two places offered me $295 and $300 for my car. When I called Brewer, I was asked about the material of the wheels and age of the catalytic converter. I wasn't sure on the wheels, but did know that I had replaced the catalytic converter just a couple of years ago. The person on the phone quoted me $300. I said thank you, and that I would call back, as I was planning on calling a few more places before making my decision. Before I could hang up, the person offered me $350. I decided to go with it, since it was $50 more than my other offers, and making a quick decision would save me a bit of time from calling other businesses. I met the driver at Northside Auto (where my car was) and he inspected my car. He told me that the wheels were not aluminum, so that the car was only worth $300 rather than the $350 I was quoted. I was very upset that the price had changed, If I knew I was only going to get $300, I would have chosen a different business that I had a past relationship with, rather than going with Brewer Salvage. After deliberating for a few minutes, I decided to take the $300. I signed over the title and then signed a receipt, which still indicated that the car was worth $350. The driver could not offer me an explanation as to why the receipt had not been changed. He also wrote down the incorrect address for my home address. I took my $300 and left, but couldn't help but wonder, how do I know the driver didn't just pocket the extra $50? The receipt clearly indicates that the seller would receive $350, yet I only received $300. Regardless, I feel that the individual on the phone should have made it clear to me that the offer was contingent on the wheels being made of a certain material. I felt like I was scammed into selling my car to Brewer, when I would have chosen another business had the price been the same from the beginning. This situation was very upsetting to me, not only because I lost out on $50, but because I had to sell my pride and joy, the car I had purchased with my own money as a 16-year-old and the car I have taken great care of for more than 11 years, to a business run unethically. I emailed Adam Brewer, the owner of the company, to tell him about my situation. Instead of apologizing, he was rude via email and claimed that the catalytic converter on my car was original, and that was why he could only offer me $300, when I have paperwork that shows that it was replaced less than two years ago. I reminded him of this but then he reneged and said that it was still only worth $300, and stated that he didn't understand "why I was so upset."
