Said he had my part off and ready on the phone , drove 45 miles only to find out he never pulled it and was too busy to get around to it. Not a big deal but wasted my time/money and couldn't even call back to say hey things changed. Very dishonest way to run a business. Jerky.
Don't know how they stay in business, they never have what you are lookin for and they don't seem intrested in helping to locate the part ,been there probably 10 times and same story and they're never friendly kinda feels like they just want you out of their building
A real family owned and operated business. The owners are the nicest people you could do business with. And the staff is very attentive and polite. I would recommend them to my friends and family. They have thousands of parts cars as well as car parts for hundreds of makes and models. Quality parts at significant savings from what the auto parts stores want to charge you. Sometimes there may be a waiting list which bothers some folks, but if there is a line there must be a reason. Check them out you won't be disappointed.
Good place for parts and to purchase used vehicles. The owner is as honest as one can expect a auto salvage yard owner to be. He's in the business to make money buy from what I've seen he is honest as one case be. You must realize if he don't know you they must proceed with caution ( lots of backyard mechanics aren't the most trustworthy people). You can't blame the man nor his employees for this. You know as well as I do, people will surely take advantage of him so they must have a guard up. That said you will receive a quality part for a decent price. From what I've heard they will work with you and he won't send you down he road empty handed because your $2 short on a $50 part. And in my book, THAT GOES A LONG WAY!!
1) confirmed availability of a part over phone, and had the wrong part when I reached there
2) much expensive than many other salvage yards that I visited
Would rate less but won't let me called for part for a friend guy answered finally told me had four parts friend went to get was completely ignored buy young guy behind counter he left after 15 minutes
I went to Gladwin Auto Salvage from a referral by another salvage company. They asked me related questions and determined their inventory showed they probably had the part. When I arrived with the vehicle a quick check and 30 minutes later it was installed and I was on my way. The part was a safety issue, my drivers seat belt buckle was broke. for quick service and probably much cheaper than new parts.
Very unorganized. Claimed they had parts over the phone, when we arrived they were very slow to decide if they wanted to look for the parts and then they ended up not even having what they claimed to in the first place.
You need to look the parts before you leave.i did not. When I get home I took a better look and found that it was broken. And they will not take it back
Sold a parts car to them a few weeks ago and they gave me a fair price for it. While there I asked about getting a part for my car, they said they would have to get back with me. A week went by and I called back, received the same answer. This process repeated it self a couple times. Each time I was promised a prompt call back which never came. Today, I called again this started about a month ago and finally found out that they don't have the part I need. I hope my experience with them is not typical. If you need a part in a timely fashion I would encourage you to look elsewhere.
