We moved here from out of state almost four years ago. You don’t realize all the things needed when making a long distance move and finding a trustworthy and reliable mechanic is just as essential as a doctor, in my opinion. We tried a couple other places at first but quickly decided on Oliver’s to be our preferred solution for our vehicle maintenance needs.
John and his entire crew have been nothing but the best to deal with, hands down. They are honest, reliable and trustworthy - traits lacking for many these days!

I dropped my car off on a Friday and they called me later that afternoon with an estimate for the work that would need to be done. I told him specifically that I ONLY wanted certain things fixed and my boyfriend could do the rest. I then asked him how much that one service would cost. He said between $400-$450 and I could pick my car up Monday. Monday rolls around and he calls me to come pick my car up. I asked how much and he told me $1007 and some change and then made the comment about how I didn’t want the other services done. Then proceeded to tell me he “miscommunicated” the price and it’s actually $600 something for just the service I wanted done and $450 for the service I didn’t want done. They took off the labor charge and I walked out paying $850…… double what I was told I was going to pay for the service I wanted completed. I’m glad I had to pay for your mistakes and miscommunication.

Back in January I went in to get my right rear knuckle bushing replaced and sway bar links(which i had). $1000 later, they end up replacing my links, plus the left rear hub bearing and right front control arm and i THOUGHT the knuckle bushing.. I took it back to Bell Tire for my alignment where they told me the K.B. was still messed up. I called Olivers and they said "oh yeah looks like we checked it but didnt replace it, bring it back in and we'll take another look". They literally charged me $110 to look at the broken part and do nothing. I chose not to go back and took it to Muffler Man in clio. They didnt charge me to look at it and it cost $380 to fix. I tried to support local small business, but this place is a no go.
You won't find a more honest and reasonably priced mechanic anywhere else in Flushing, I dare say even Genesee county. Highly recommend! Thank you John for taking great care of our car and getting it back running good again.

Absolutely great guys! They fixed my Sons H2 about a week ago! Was leaking lots of oil not no more!! They did a terrific job with complete gasket replacements!!
I recently moved to the area trying to find a trustworthy mechanic so I didn't have to drive back to where I used to go for the past 10 years.
They fixed several issues with my 3500 Silverado with the diesel Allison transmission. I tow a 40 ft fifth wheel and I was experiencing reduced engine, power errors and a bunch of other sensors and codes.
During my travels last year I stopped at several mechanics along the east coast and every one of them said they did what they could based on GM's recommendations. Nothing worked out.
Fast forward about a year and now I take it to Oliver's Garage and they knew exactly what I was talking about. After they serviced my truck, we went on another camping trip the past 2 weeks through the mountains and I'm happy to report the issue appears to be fixed!

I own a local business with a few trucks. Oliver's garage is the best place to take my trucks. Fast service, and fair prices.
I really like the job they do here. They call me to discuss my options and don't try to oversell anything. They have the old fashioned home town vibes, but they know the modern vehicles.
John and the guys are great there. Family owned business, and it shows. He's honest, fair, and efficient. Work the drive Everytime, and has never fed lines of BS to try to make money.
Our family uses them exclusively and he's never done us wrong with anything. And he's reasonable - if he finds something that needs to be that the owner can and is willing to do themselves, he's always seemed ok with that. Great prices on quality parts and honors all warranties.

Great place! Good prices and excellent work. If your car is having issues give them a call. They also do custom work such as lift kits, so what ever you need give them a call.

Took car to them to see if I needed water pump and brakes changed. They ended up telling me $2300 worth of work needed and charged me $90.00 to do inspection. I just took it to someone else to change water pump and they just told me my water pump is fine and why would I think it needed changed. Those guys at Olivers are untrustwortwill not recommend them.
Truly the only place we will take our vehicles! They are honest, friendly, and do quality work. I would (and do) recommend Oliver's Garage to everyone!
Oliver’s Garage is the best place around to take your vehicle without a doubt. I’ve taken my car here many times and they’ve always solved the problems I was having without emptying my wallet. John is the best, he’s very honest and straight to the point, unlike most of the shops I've dealt with in Flushing in the past. Oliver’s is the only place I’ll ever take my cars for now on.

I've taken all my cars to John at Oliver's Garage for many years because they're the best. Their rates are reasonable and the techs are very knowledgeable about a wide variety of cars. I've dealt with privately owned shops in the past that always seemed to be guessing when diagnosing my cars so it was a godsend when I found these guys that really know what they're doing. They're also extremely honest with me about what needs to fixed and were even willing to install a used part to save me money one time when I was broke. I can't recommend these folks enough, they've made a permanent customer out of me for sure.
Best auto repair shop anywhere. I live in Oakland county but go out of my way to take all my vehicles to Olivers. They consistently do a great job at a fair price. Honest, professional, competent staff and excellent workmanship you can trust.
Reasonably priced and extremely honest, this privately owned shop sets itself apart from all the numerous franchise operations in the area. Took my car there for rear brake replacement and I would certainly return for any future automotive repair. A+
I have taken every vehicle since my first to Oliver's Garage. They are a Christian owned business for one and honest to boot! You can't go wrong with these guys! They do excellent work and don't charge you an arm and a leg.
