They have been our go to mechanics for over 15 years. We move away 2 years ago, and we still drive to Genesee to have Tom and the guys work on our vehicles. Fair pricing, quality workmanship, great staff (including the dogs!).
They are always friendly and very knowledgeable about their profession. They complete the job with 100% accuracy and satisfaction. Guaranteed return if I ever need a professional mechanic. 2 thumbs up.
Just called to get an idea of pricing. The guy was super rude from the minute he answered the phone and seemed irritated that someone would call for that reason. No problem taking the business elsewhere fella. It’s reasonable for people to call for some information or a quote. I see 3 other posts in just the last 3 weeks directly rating them this way over the gentleman answering the phone. One mentioned that it was the owners son specifically. Seems like maybe this was a good business, but going in the wrong direction.
The young kid is going to ruin this company.

Owner's son was extremely rude on the phone. I had to drive my car home due to their complete lack of transparency. You would expect some communication even as simple as a phone call with an update on things but not here apparently.
Also, your car is not secure if you leave it with them the most concerning things I noticed was:
1) the keys were just left in the vehicle when I picked it up so it could have been stolen
2) the e-brake was not engaged and the car was sitting in neutral near an incline
Sad, since I had good work here done in the past but things have really gone down hill since then.
Just read the reviews and tell me where else you have read reviews like these. Honest, reasonable, and professional. I can only say that if you need your car fixed Tommy and his sons are the go to place.....
I've taken all my vehicles here for years. The guys know their stuff and they're not overly pricey. And they'll never try to sell you something you don't need!
I have been taking my car there for about 10 years, they are the best. Prices are reasonable and they take care of you. I even recommended my coworkers and they were very impressed.
Brought a scooter tire to get fixed, was charged$28.00 and all they did was put in an air nozzle that I provided and add air only to tell me that they can't fix it ! Then I realized that they put the nozzle sticking out of the wrong side !

We have used the owner for repairs since I started driving over 30 years ago parents used him before that. He is the most honest and fair mechanic we know and will ALWAYS return to him!
These guys are the real pros...thought I needed a wheel bearing ( I even had the part with me) but they told me it was just my tires. They could have taken me for a ride but didn’t. I bought tires and everything turned out great. Highly recommend them!
Went to Genesee Auto to have them fix and replace driver side CV Axle on '16 Buick Lacrosse. The CV axle was a part I identified that needed fixing. Repair was done in a timely matter and satisfied with results. Shop did not pull any shady acts like trying to upsell any unnecessary fixes. Price I paid compared to Belle tire was lower. Definitely will keep this shop in mind next time something else arises.
This is the 3rd automotive repair shop I came to for a quote they were honest and fixed my car for a reasonable price. I continue to have my car serviced here, oil changes and tires changed or plugged. New tires for the winter too
I can't even imagine going anywhere else. These guys are great, don't take advantage of you. They have worked with me when I told them funds were limited so they didn't try to sell me on bells and whistles. Last time I took it there, I told them I thought I broke the ball joint because the tire wouldn't spin. Turns out my brakes just got rust glued on it. Super honest people there. I always recommend them to friends and family.
Gave me options to repair or replace parts and didn't push one way or the other. He let me take control of how I wanted to have the repair made.
Fair pricing, great folks to work with.
I would recommend to anyone who needs auto repair done.
