In today's world, it's hard to find an honest mechanic. The people at Muffler Man on Pierson are great! After dealing with them today, I would highly recommend bringing your car to them!
I've used this ship twice first time they overfilled my oil by a quart second time they did a complete exhaust and after it was completed they told me it needed manifold and stu tods would have had that done if they had done a thorough inspection
My experience was great. I had no issues. However, make sure you get there early because it's a 1st come basic, and they be packed. The receptionist is kind, and the mechanic gets down to business workers.
They are the most kind and honest people there. Very good prices and not too many honest people out there. Very accommodating! Will continue to take the whole families vehicles there
I wish I could give 0 stars! Brought my vehicle in 10/22/24 for a clanking noise on my left driver side. Was told I needed my rear shocks and control arms replaced & was charged $876. Received my car back a few hours later and was told by Billie that my car still had a little noise, but nothing too major and that I would need my front struts replaced soon. Was quoted $952 (parts and labor) for the front struts. Got in my car and it was louder than it was before I dropped it off! Called this morning inquiring what was actually done to my car and what could be done to fix this problem. Billie told me my original parts were already on the scrap truck and if I wanted the new parts that were put on yesterday taken off, I would be charged again for labor. 0/10– would not recommend!
Watch out for the women in the front desk. She’s slick and doubled the price without even letting me know. She made me sign papers ,put my info just for a price on how much a resonator delete would cost . Plus the man who took my car in my car handled it unprofessional. Slammed my doors, turned the wheel too hard and etc.
If you like being quoted a price for a job.and in the middle of the job being charged more.and a 4 hour job taking 4 days.then this is your place.i won't be back
The man at the front desk is very rude and impatient. I’m not sure where they order their parts from, but you’re better off getting it on your own. Their price for parts are WAY higher than the actual auto store prices. The man at the front desk tried to discourage me from getting my own part by saying “I don’t know where you’ll be able to find this part at“ Like they’re the only people who has access to this part lol. Personally, I’m staying far away from this place at all cost!
Scam likely. I got 1 thing fixed, here and now all of sudden I’m had all kind of issues with my car. Had to bring it back immediately after the repair . Didn’t make it 1 block. Would not recommend.
This place does not even deserve a one star. came here to get a tensioner put on and it cost me over $400 the next thing you know the tensioner breaks lost my belt going down the road had to go someplace else that was closer cuz I didn't want to wreck my car even more and now they only want to replace the part with my warranty not the labor so long story short, had to pay for the part twice had to pay for the labor twice ..don't go here this place is not even worth the trouble
CRROKS...TRIED CHARGING ME FOR REPAIRS THAT I DIDN'T NEED! Had my car towed there on a Friday. By Wednesday of the following week, my car still hadn't been repaired. My husband and i thought it was something shady about their estimate anyway. So I had it towed elsewhere. The tow truck driver showed me where someone from Muffler Man had put their greasy hands all over my tan interior and we have pictures. They didn't even bother to clean it. Oh, the best part is about $900 of the repairs quoted weren't even needed. Found out what was really needed to have been repaired and paid 1/2 the price.
I had some exust work done and they told me they had to change the resonator because it was rusty charging me extra then I seen my old part it looked like new then they weld my exhaust on and it rubs the frame I took it back and the guy behind the counter trys to change me more I went and talked to the guy that welded it and he fixed it for no change after I had to argue about it. BEWARE OF THE Guy behind the counter he's a crook
They are professional… although I wasn’t able to get my car fixed I did only pay a 20 service fee and they gave me good advice on what I should do instead of charging me thousands of dollars and ripping me off
3 hours of waiting with two minor children for them to do brakes pads and rotors. Of the 3 I spent only 25 minutes for them to test drive my car and diagnosis it. Then to wait an hour if not longer of it being lifted before they brought to my attention anything. And then have the mechanic walk away from the job for the SECOND time and continue to wait.
No warning nothing this place is ridiculous. Highly advise AGAINST going here. I only do because sadly they are the company for my warranty.
I've never had a problem with this location in the 20+ years that I've had cars. I was able to have new expensive parts replaced the same day. With an inexpensive oil change to boot.
There needs to be a "no star" rating option specifically for this type of event.
I took my car up to the shop for inspection and quote because the brakes were completely shot. They quoted me $500 just for one brake set for one wheel. I got a breakdown of the price and saw that they charged me about $300 more than the same brake set that I found online. Once I let them know of the discrepancy and that I would purchase my own parts and that the parts would be delivered there in 3 days, they began to treat me totally different. They told me to not ship the parts to the shop. I said ok fine. Then they told me to come pick up my car that it could not sit there for 3 days. I said ok fine but since it has no brakes I will get it towed by AAA. I told them that AAA will come pick it up and I can show proof; however due to labor shortage it can't be picked up same day. They said if it doesnt get pick up same day then they will charge $20 each day. I explained that I will get it picked up but it's not my fault that AAA has a labor shortage. They said it's not their problem. Then they said that AAA will not allowed to pick it up unless I pay the $20 inspection fee. I saw ok I will pay it now as I'm talking to the repair guy. Then they said well we don't take payments over the phone. I said I work from 9-5 like you. I can pay you now but can't come in. They want me to pick up the car so I call AAA to get it picked up but they will not release it until I pay. I try to pay but they won't take payment over the phone. All because they could not cheat me out of $300. So they will find a way to cheat money out of you some other way. When they can cheat you out of money they're pleasant but if not they are not.
I have been taking my cars here for years. They are always busy because they are good at what they do. It's a 1st come basis but work diligently to get everyone's car serviced that day. Prices are a standard fee close to what other auto repair shops charge.
Just moved to the area and got off the highway and really bad grinding sound from my rear driver’s side tire I made it home. Had another shop recommended muffler man and see Josh. My work schedule is horrible for getting stuff like this done was able to drop off my jeep just before close. I got a call next day early in morning telling what was wrong and how much. A Christmas miracle under 100.00 to fix and could pickup when I got out of work. Well in a hurry to get out of working at home for Uber left my wallet but hey no problem the man sorry bad with names showed me how to pay with my iPhone. I now have a place to do my repairs and will come back and see you all again.
The wait time was shorter then they said and they fix the car fairly quickly but for them to have 4 ppl at 8:08 am the wait was still almost an hour. So if have to show up before they open at 8 am
I’m kind of troubled if they replaced my Heater Core w/ the right procedure of doing things. Literally tried to charge me $325 to flush a radiator with a GARDENING HOSE! And when I went to Midas to get a professionally done, they tell me that “Whoever replaced the Heater Core didn’t “burp” it right which lead to coolant all over your engine” & some other things they mentioned. Also he revealed to me that I have a part broken from the mechanic that is only dealership exported which is very expensive! I am a young college student who works hard to pay my dues in America & I will be following up on this!
Always keep my jeep safe.. The owner is amazing he puts pride into the business which is hard to find now a days. But they will always be my go to mechanics because regardless who's working they're all trying their best.
They were able to diagnosis all the issues wrong with my car and had the time and parts to fix it on the same day. They're prices are extremely fair and never did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. Their staff is very busy but maintain great customer service throughout their chaotic days. This is a good trustworthy place to go if you need work done on your vehicle.
Great work done by employees at a reasonable price. You can even bring your own part. First come first serve. Open 10 hours six days a week. Closed Sundays.
They will find the problem but in the wrong order. Cost me a lot of money on something I would not have done had they diagnosed properly. The car was never running properly. Eventually came to the correct diagnosis but should have gotten it right the first time. They could have refunded some of the labor hours they extremely charged me for but just said they is nothing they can do for me. Do not go here. I will never go again and will continue to word of mouth and tell anyone I know not to go here.
This place is terrible! Took my car there 3 times for antifreeze leak! They could not figure out why it was leaking. They told me my car was okay and there was no leaks, drove my car too work and before I got to work on the freeway antifreeze was gushing out from underneath my hood! I was stuck on the freeway and had to get my car towed to another shop. Called Muffler Man to tell them what happened, “ they told me I have to get the car towed back to the shop and have to pay $50 or more to get towed to the shop” I towed to another shop, told me it was a busted hose. If Muffler Man would have check throughly after the third time I would have not been left stranded on the road! “Don’t take your car there!!!!!!!!!”
This auto shop is always busy. They do good work that's why. They are helpful and sincere. They fix what you ask them but if they see another issue they'll let you know about so that you can fit it in your budget to have that repaired next. Looking out for your best interest.
Fantastic service done in a timely basis. Friendly, courteous, and most of all knowledgeable staff. Honesty and integrity are what run strongest through this business, to the point that They have now grown to two great locations. We will continue to take our company and personal vehicles there, as we have always been very pleased.
Went there with my kids to get an oil change, anyone with kids knows it is not easy to take them any where let alone a repair shop! Everyone was super friendly from the woman who checks you in at the counter to the person who brings your car back to you!!! Didn't have to wait for hours to get an oil change at a decent proce!!!
