My dealing with them didn’t go smoothly at all. From start to end it was just very dysfunctional with how this place is run and operated. On the plus side everyone was easy going and nice. Now the bad. I had called and asked for a part and they said I must prepay for it so it would be ready for pickup on a certain date, but when that date came it wasn’t ready so after a long phone call the manager said he would try to get me bumped up so I could get my part later that day. True to his word the part was ready later that day, so I made the over 1 hour drive much later in the day than originally planned. When I arrived to get my part, it was the wrong one, and after waiting for them to search the entire yard they didn’t have the right one so I asked for a refund. After several days it hadn’t been posted back to my credit card so I started calling trying to get it corrected. But after calling multiple times and talking to different employees about it and leaving my name and number multiple times because “someone would call me back”, no one ever did call me back or take care of this from their end so I had to reach out to my credit card company and they had to get my refund back for me. It took over a month to get my refund and the whole experience was just stressful. Save yourself the headache if your going to deal with these guys and go deal in person and look at something with your own eyes before paying. While I was in the place several people that had paid for things came in and the parts that where supposed to be ready for pickup where not.

MEVER AGAIN!!! Paid for a motor on 8/1/2022 they had 3 in stock when I paid $1700. Fast forward to 23 days later, and no motor! I was told that mine was coming from Ohio and it would be delivered yesterday. Never happened. Came in today to ask for a refund because it’s costing me everyday my car is on the lift at the shop! 5 days I’ve been told it will be here tomorrow and so on and so forth! Than because I said I’d be more than happy to wait until my motor gets here he called the police on me! I’m 5 ft 3 sound like a child ( none threading at all) and I get a cop called on me and my 8 year old daughter. He also refused to let me listen to the motor run!

The lady with no front teeth at the front counter.... horrible horrible horrible. Turns minor customer service issues into a cluster @#$% when I was there last week.. You guy's can't even do store credit that most salvage companies will do for wrong products that were sold wrong by you!!! I understand not doing a refund but not allowing store credit based on her lack of follow through when I asked if you guy's had a particular product for my wife's car over the phone and she said yes and come to find out that it is the wrong part. She just read the sign of no refunds on the phone when I carried today. I just paid $75 to NEVER deal with her or your business again.

Called the place for an alternator three days ago said it was on thd shelf. Come in to get it and nothing. They said they had one it needed to be pulled. I paid for it came back after work nothing. They had me wait for an hour while it was supposedly getting pulled only to tell me they didn't have one! Horrible business wasted my time and money and refunded me an abnormal amount of change as well. A big huge thumbs down to this business.

This place is terrible! First of all they sold me the fan part only of a clutch fan and charged me 50 dollars cause "they're hard to come by" according to the owner.but when we realized we needed to replace the whole thing I called RPM and they only charged 40 for the entire unit! Then he sent an employee out to pull a raidiator for us and it was the wrong one! So now we are out 115 dollars cause they have no cash back and we will never use the credit they offere we will NEVER go HERE again!! I only gave them one star because that is the only way to leave a review!

Order engine 2 weeks ago never received called many times!!! Said it was in stock, lied!!! Than said ordered from Ohio said engine was dropped and damaged and they had to find another one.. ffs I ordered it 1/29/22 and it's 2/15/2022 still no engine!!! Was told money was refunded and they still can't get me a engine!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Went to cut rate saturday to look at a rim for a customer of mine they had it but didn't have center cap wanted 100.00 (everyone else said if they had it 50.00) I went back yesterday to buy it and i was there for a hour in a half they looking for rim cant find it then the guy says we sold it the same guy that i was dealing with the whole time. Are u kidding me then when I get mad its my fault because i didnt buy saturday thats what he said i had to make sure the customer wanted to buy it. Ill never use them again ill drive to detroit before i walk into that place again now i understand why people are already talking about cut rate bad. Oh and I got the rim too from another junk yard having it shipped in and still wasnt even close to 100.00

I ordered a set of replacement headlights for my 2006 Dodge Caravan. The day they came in, I was planning on picking them up, but ended up at a Midas for a repair that was running later than they stayed open. Dan, from Cut Rate Auto Parts offered to drive to the Midas, after they closed, to deliver the parts! I was blown away! Great place to get your auto parts!

Family owned and operated since the 50's??? Give me a break. I worked there for two years before the place sold last summer. Now they cant hold on to there best employee's. Forsure cut rate was a notch above the other salvage yards but those days are long over. I see it at some point as just another closed and boarded up building on the N Dort .

I called in the morning they stated they had lots of what I had wanted (17” rims) and for me to come in and get them took off , I came into the junk yard and they told me they’d take my number and call me when he got me tires and rims pulled . Hours passed I called she said he was on lunch she knew he had them pulled just didn’t know where . I came into the junk yard , yet again waited 30 mins for them to say they didn’t have the parts . Barley said sorry offered no alternatives WOULDNT RECOMMEND

The hours on here say open on Saturday. Drive there and they were not open. When I called his excuse was “we can’t change the hours they are from the old owner.” Made no effort to come in or offer to come up since I was already there.

This is a good place ti get used parts for your vehicle if your having problems with it's functionality. They can also order you new parts if you ask one of the gentlemen or lady's for the possibility. If you need a mechanic to work on your vehicle, they might have one there that could assist you or they could give you some references on where to take your vehicle for repair. But I've always takled project head on to conquer and learn from my experiences, plus other people and thier doings Mostly a good place to get used auto parts for your vehicle if needed, they even have spare tires that you probably can't buy for some OSHA approved reason like them Cat's n other deals to complete the emissions comeing out of your tale pipe that CA had to restict n that w the other fir Ol'Mother Nature purposes

They are huge liars. Said they could order a part, wouldn't take phone order. Got all the way there and they said they cannot get it. I even called the place twice to make sure it was the correct part.

Dont get sold a fire damaged engine or parts Half there building burned down with there parts. THERE SELLING PARTS THAT ARE HALF BURNED I Drove 2 hours away and received the bad parts AGAIN! Sad to say the new owners have no clue what there doing. This place has been ran into the ground! LITERALLY!!

I will not b back to this yard their customer service sucks they don't compare prices because they say their products r better than other yards and their rude I bought a $600 motor from them and they assured me it was in top top condition I paid another $600 to get the piece of crap put in and it was junk so I went back with my receipt and he told me bring it back I had to pay $200 to get it took out when I got there he ask for the receipt again I lost it and he just simply blew me off and said come back when u get ur receipt and walked off no compromise no receipt too bad for u then I finally found my receipt I paid cash and got a written check back that cost $10 to cash total lost dealing with cut rate $610 😠
