I’m from Brighton. We were in TC for a wedding and one of our kids borrowed our truck because they were plying into Detroit and needed a car. So we had two cars up north. Our truck had huge transmission issues and couldn’t be driven. We left it with some friends and drove home. Talk about an uneasy feeling. We were recommended to D & W by a mechanic friend of my brother who lives in TC. What a relief to work with such honest and hard working owners.
We had friends that were going to drive the truck back home to us and D&W worked late the night before to make sure we were all good. Just a great husband and wife team and awesome family business! I would recommend anyone to trust them with automotive challenges.
Trust is such an import part when getting your car repaired. I trust these guys!

Service is horrible I came in and paid $70 for a front windshield after receiving it the side molding was not correct after calling the yard about a replacement the guy on the phone was very rude
I was there looking at used car they had for sale. But I love going to the junk yard .Back when I was younger my brothers would take me with them to the junk yards and you could go back and take the parts off yourself .I would help them or just go thru the cars and find loose change , tools or toys never left handed.So junk yards are one of my favorite places to go....
sold me the wrong part. asked 3 times about the year of the vehicle it came off of because the pump is year specific. told me it was the correct one and it wasn’t. also doesn’t take card
They're all right I see them charge batteries on the bear concrete and give them the customers.
Depending on who you are or dealing with sometimes they'll work deals with you most often not
Went and got another jack for my car,it's a better one than I had before,the clerk didn't know it was for me,after finding out he adjusted my cost to what I paid for the bend one.
The older man has always done right by me, and he's very honest plus nice too.
These guys are liars you call them ask him for a part they say yes I have it and then you go up there and they look for 20 minutes to tell you to come back another day. Well I called ahead I drove 20 minutes to you now I have to drive 20 minutes home that's a 40 minute round trip for your lie and your laziness in your just sheer lack of doing your job I highly do not recommend d&w salvage the whole time I was in there was profanity dirty unorganized terrible establishment and I will never be back and I will never ever recommend anybody to go there when I confronted the guy at the counter about him telling me that he had the part and that I was on my way he said I never told you that it was off the vehicle and then told me to go f myself. I went to school with the owner's kid I'll be getting in touch
We had a great experience working with Nic. He was never pushy and listened to all our comments and concerns. He made sure he addressed every question we had. We would definitely work with him again when we purchase another vehicle.
My step-dad just got work done there and now 4 days later the same exaxt part they claimed to have SUPPOSEDLY FIXED by SUPPOSEDLY putting a BRAND NEW PART IN is completely trashed and it is now worse than when he took it there. Stay away from this place. Fair warning folks
Very rude on the phone with poor attitude and unprofessional. I asked if they had a part in stock and the person responded no! Like I had just insulted him and hung up.
We’ve had a great experience with D & W. We met with Brian Riley. We discussed having a new beautiful door installed, basement windows and a fiberglass shower wrap. Brian was very professional without pressure techniques. Roger came out today and installed the front door and basement windows. He was very professional and answered any questions we had. He definitely takes pride in the final product. Thank you Brian and Roger.
This place was awesome. I had a hard time trying to find a particular part and the staff there was phenomenal. I found the part plus I got a good deal.. very friendly people and there's so much stuff there you be able to find anyting... Thank u D&W

A-holes sold me a windshield that had 6 chips in it! They scribbled over the chips deliberately, to hide them! Won't be buying anything from their business ever again!
Now this place has it all if you need a part this is where you go.!!! This place pretty much everything runs $35 unless you need like a radiator or an ignition or something like that but you know I got a starter for like 35 I got that 40 I think you're 35 or 40 bucks I got spindle I got a new CV joints, I even got this place too build me a starter right there after two starters were not working and they ended up giving me my money back and can we get the nice the Darter they built a working starter from scratch out of the three starters that were junk that I had that they had tested right but when I went to go put it on my focus they or not I got really good at putting my starter off and on that was the cool part I could get that starter off and on in less than 10 minutes! I definitely recommend these guys ! you ask them for a part and they give it to you in about 10 to 20 minutes Val even tell you how to put it on if you don't know that much about cars.
Came here to get a steering column and was helped quickly, got home and realized that the steering column they gave me was NOT for my vehicle, although they said they pulled it from the same make and year.
I would not recommend this place, they’re not reliable and do not offer refunds.
I've been coming here most of my life. I've never come away dissatisfied. These guys will hook you up. Just a word of warning: watch where you are going at all times. This is a junk yard. They are actively moving cars around. The ground is often uneven and there are random bits littering the ground. I like to wear boots and gloves.
Absolutely love this place been getting parts her for 20 years. They dont have a computer system but seem to manage better than any other salvage yard.
Best prices in the area! I can always count on get the prices here so I check with D & W first. I comparison shop and D & W always beats the other guys. They have an extremely knowledgeable staff that not only knows your vehicle but also knows what other vehicles parts will fit your car. I have always gotten a fair deal here and will continue to shop here. hang on to your receipt for sure if there is an issue they will make it right.
I have been here several times. I have always gotten a good deal and could take it back and get something else if it was the wrong part. Whenever I need a part, these guys usually have it.
