This place is a joke they tell me one price , and after I come thru to get paid, it's a different price... I recycled aluminum siding everywhere else is paying 40-60 cents per lb, I go to the window after I'm cashed out... they give me 25 cents per pound, do not waste your time, do not come here, plus they wouldn't even let me get my metal back. I own a siding company. I have never dealt with a worse place than this. The owner hung up on me because I was informing him what I was told over the phone, and then when I got there and unloaded, it was different. Normally, I don't care..... we're talking 65.00 compared 250.00 it's not a small amount. karma is no joke.
Then you tell me you'll make it right. I call, and the owner says he's not the one who responded. im at a loss for words, normally I go to Genesee recycle it was the weekend I needed my truck, but to respond saying you'll make it right to tell me you didn't respond like who runs your company if it's not you is the person I'm talking to on the phone saying they own the company and it just goes to show me again how unprofessional how mismanaged and unorganized your establishment truly is and I won't be the last person to leave a bad review because it's truly a bad business end of story don't respond that you're going to make it right when you're not going to make it right unless you're pretending to own a place that you don't own
The current scrap price for clean yellow brass (today is $2.39) Complete scrap is only willing to pay 1 dollar a pound for it!! Complete scrap literally robs people out of there scrap weight and money then they're willing to pay you for it. This place is renamed "complete crap" if you take your scrap to this place they're making more off of your scrap then you're going to.
I am definitely making this place my new business for buying my scrap metals. They were super friendly and very helpful. I've only been scrapped for a year now and only been to a handful of scrap yards in my life but this scrap yard has been the best by far hands down. I thought I was going to feel really weird walking into a place not knowing where to go or where to take my scrap but they were helpful very kind and acted like they wanted to buy my scrap. Most scrap yards I've been to in my life they act like they're doing you a favor buying your scrap but complete was the opposite of that. I will give this place a higher rating if I could. If you're having doubts I'm trying a new scrap yard I definitely recommend complete and I know you won't be disappointed
Terrible prices! Paid 5 cents on electric motors, 5 cents on irony aluminum, and 25 cents on cast aluminum on top of their 165 per ton on steel, when scrap prices are much higher. They are clearly ripping everyone off. When I called and asked she said yes those the correct prices.
Had 53lbs of aluminum. I worked in the non-ferrous Warehouse at rifkin scrap in Saginaw almost 5 years. I know scrap metal. They paid me less than half market value. They said my aluminum was still dirty which I know it wasn't because I spent 4 or 5 hours cleaning it up. And I have a powerful magnet with me at all times when scrapping. Then he said It had felt strips which it didn't. Now granted they're about to close so I figured I'm not going to make these guys stand here while I whine, so I leave and call the office and ask if they can put that material off to the side when they come in in the morning because it was left on the scale I watched them close the door and leave it on the scale. So that way I could have a second opinion or just give them their money back and take my material. And then I was informed that they have a sign that says once you put the material on their scale they own it which is absolutely ridiculous. And then she said we pay differently than anyone else. You'll notice if you go to the website they don't post prices and also there's no sign posted with prices that I could see visible. In fact I didn't really see any signs that said anything. I know I saw six guys stand there and watch me get the stuff out of my car. And when I said something to the guy who wrote me up for the aluminum he got super defensive I mean he looked at me like I just spit on. And all I said was that was more like extrusion wouldn't you say. And he instantly was telling me how it was dirty and had screws and etc. she also said they would not allow me to exchange their money for my materials back. So basically this place is a scam job. And I like how the owner responds to negative review by giving you the office number to call and talk to the lady who will do nothing for you. Other than inform you that they basically have shady business practices that most people think you can't do anything about. I'm not a big fan of getting ripped off. So I guess we'll see but do yourself a favor go to RJ industrial. They have decent prices the workers help. And their entire process is much more transparent.
Called to confirm they were open on Saturday until 3. She says yes. She also gave me the current price. We arrive at 1 and they are closed. Another customer who called to confirm they were open showed up. If your hours are until 3 then you stay until 3. First time I ever went there and won't waste my time again. Go to Genesee Rec. They are open when they say they are.
Yeah, its a no for me. Called to ask a few questions, got interrupted 5 times, was not allowed to even vocalize my question, and was hung up on. Rude. If I could give less stars I would- the customer service is absolutely and unequivocally abhorrent.
I will never go to this scrap yard or recommend it to anyone I know. I went to a different scrap yard last week with less scrap/copper than I had today and I got way more money. This place screws you over so bad.
This place will low ball you to death. If you have any copper wire to scrap your better off saving it until you can go to another place. I brought 200 pounds of scrap copper. 50lbs was straight clean copper. I got 108 dollar. No option together your shkt back either
the owners are really nice, i love the employees, they help me everytime i come in with material. the service is extremely fast, i was in and out in 10 minutes. i would definitely go here over any other place. PRICES ARE AMAZING.
If I can give this place a zero star I would, Bring in 2 front end ratio and only give me a one measly dollar for both. This place is shady scams people. Please take your business elsewhere.
