Our brake line was leaking and we were trying to make it from southern MI to the U.P. With every other auto shop telling us they couldn’t help us, we called this shop and Dominick got us right in knowing we were stranded. They got us back on the road within one hour and we couldn’t have been more grateful for their availability and exceptional pricing. Highly recommend this shop to anyone passing through or in the area. Great guys, super friendly!
Did the initial inspection on a Ford Focus SE for me, found the car on marketplace and as any sane person would, had the car looked at. Pricing for the inspection was affordable, my only concern was the mechanic stated he took the car for a test drive. If that were the case then he would have realized that the alignment was also off due to the steering wheel slanting slightly to the right, makes me a bit nervous about the entire inspection that was conducted. But overall really nice people and again affordable.
Great job Dom!!???, I brought you my lump of coal plow buggy, and you managed to turn it into a DIAMOND!! EVERYTHING you worked on exhaust manifold, brakes, etc. Working great, I'll be back when I need more repairs, and thank you for being patient with me!!
We had a check engine light flashing on our car during our vacation to Mackinac island and pulled into Pellston auto. Dominick had it diagnosed within minutes and had the parts ordered within a half hour. Thanks! Highly recommended!!
My truck had a transmission issue. They diagnosed and fixed it. Staff was friendly and polite at all times. (Dogs most of the time lol). Shop was highly recommended to me by the locals, was not disappointed. Price was reasonable and fair. They were honest with what "HAD" to be fixed and what "SHOULD" be fixed in near future, so that I could save up to pay for the "Should" fix issues. They were not pushy salesman.

Down to earth, no-nonsense, helpful, clear and reliable. We were on vacation in the straits area when a problem developed with our vehicle. Don and his guys got the part indicated by the error and replaced it promptly, going the extra mile to get it done quickly to help me not have to pay an extra day for a rental car.
BTW, the sign on the door about the dogs is not joking. They might look intimidating to some customers, but they are gentle...
brought my Jeep here and they were supposed to do a alignment they did and I got the Jeep back they had put peaces of my hym joint in the wrong spot they did fix the issue for free but they did not fix the death wobble when I hit a bump at 45
I have been there several, a few times with big problems. They got me in, fixed my car quickly and back on the road. They are always very polite and helpful.
Even though Pellston Automotive was closed we stopped in. We were on vacation and needed air in one of our tires. Someone was there and put air in our tire. Thank you for saving our vacation.

I hope I never have to go to another mechanic as long as I live. Just moved to the area and Dom and everyone that works here was wonderful. The prices were fair, communication was amazing, and they did everything they could to work with me.
