The owner George was a very reasonable guy until his wife started running the business. Now they have absolutely no idea what the parts are you calling for they don't know how much they cost until you have to come and pull them. And if you decide you do not like the parts that you are trying to locate they accuse you of stealing. I believe George is a good man but whoever that lady is dictating how a scrap yard runs I'm surprised it's still open it won't be much longer. They told me $575 for an axle that I got for $140 20 mi away oh and no warranties expressed or given and I expect core exchange I want to work for this company and I have done business with this company for over 20 years closing in on 30 nothing here I have said is a lie
I would leave zero stars if it was an option!
We took our truck to Maple Rapids Auto to get the AC fixed per a recommendation. They returned it twice saying it was fixed when, in fact, it wasn’t, blowing hot air. Stuck driving a truck with no air in 86 degree weather. Then for the THIRD time, we return it, they have it Monday-Friday. I tell them to drive it for a distance before giving it back, they agree to but don’t.
Their way of fixing the air was throwing parts on, guessing at was wrong. Obviously they didn’t pressure check it or they’d known it needed a new tube prior to fixing all the expensive parts. They then tell us the second time, oh it was just a dirty air filter when we just replaced it with our last oil change. Claim it was fixed, nope. Then the third time they can’t figure out what’s wrong for days, then claim it’s fixed, and suddenly our car is not drivable.
I get it back this Friday and drive from Maple to Perrinton and the truck isn’t driving correctly. We take it on a drive Saturday morning and get stuck going 25 MPH all the way home from St. John’s and then the “check engine” light comes on. We take it in this morning right from our drive home from St. John’s. They tell us it’s our transmission and it has nothing to do with it anything they did.
Mind you this entire time, we get no updates unless we call. We paid $1100 for nothing!
If you’re planning to take your car there, think twice.
If they ain't got your part it don't exist .Best selection of auto parts instate including hard to find older engines and trans.
There free lunch is also nice and beverages are cheap if nothing else stop in for a snack.

Called on a alternator on my vehicals said they had one drive 42 min to go there got there and stood in office for 20 min noone helped me my husband then walked around tried to find someone and none would help us 40 min goes by and finally we just said screw it we left rudest and un profetional place we have ever been never again!!
