When your guys wrenching leave a pair of Chanel locks under the hood of a 6.6 duramax it makes you wonder what could happen. I pulled up to advance auto in indy to a guy lives in Kentucky working in Michigan right now he was trying to get home to his family and not to be a dick but it really takes alot of different tasks going on to leave a pair of pliers under the hood like that. This ended up a hole in the radiator not a big deal but when it's a new truck and a shop with ok reviews you expect more. Tell your boys wrenching to take a break and double check shit cause stupid mistakes like that are just a very very bad look. Thats worst than finding a 10mm under the hood honestly.
As a local I put way to must trust into just believing that I should just take their word for it, I've taken two different vehicles to Buds over the years for two drastically different problems and I got my chain pulled for both of them. My latest issue I had with them I no longer couldn't just sum it up to bad luck and figure I would address it. I took my partners car in to replace the coolant reservoir and a turn signal light. Simply put, replace the reservoir yet they decided to poke and prod around with it rather than change it. There was a visible crack that was leaking that you could see and I showed them in person afterword's which they dismissed as normal and I still ended up paying labor. But I decided to take their word for it because they are mechanics. Not even the morning after I received a video from my partner of the coolant pooled up under the car. Upon reaching back out to Buds to hopefully get taken care they reluctantly decided to take it back to the shop where they changed me for more labor hours and for the reservoir at a price which was almost double what you can purchase from the store down the road. no apologizes or reimbursement for the hassle. In the bill they made sure to label in that "there was no leak on the date serviced prior" Conveniently enough another day later her car decided to stall a bit and run rough. taking it to a different shop they told us that a wire was cut and fuses went bad. But who knows that could've been just some more bad luck.
Dale and his crew at Buds are amazing I was new to town and he got my car fix in no time he was straight forward on price and even with my car being a pain he got me coveted.
Took my car in for potential warranty work and to check it out. Got quoted for $4000.00 worth of work and parts and 90% of what they said was wrong were brand new parts. Very disappointing that there wasn't hardly any honesty
My husband was headed to our place up in northern Michigan and he broke down had to be towed. Being from Ohio he just took a chance and called they came right from Bud's for a tow and brought him to the shop. He had blown a transmission line. It was Thursday afternoon they couldn't get the part until the next morning but they replaced all the lines for him and got him back on the road the next day. Our poodle loved riding in the tow truck and the driver was super nice to her. Everyone was nice until I could get there to pick them up on Thursday night. He got a ride back on Friday to get his truck and they were back on the rode to vacation. They didn't charge anymore than anywhere else would have and gave a discount on the tow because he got it serviced there. Thanks a bunch for helping my stranded husband and Polly ❤️
Got me in incredibly fast to replace brakes rotors as well as an oil change. Being someone that very rarely trusts a mechanic to touch her stuff, this stop was a no brainer. Affordable and a job well done
Had my car towed there by Buds. Car had a blowned belt. They found 2 pullies bad. A tensioner and idler pulley. They were going to give me an estimate. Never happened. $950! They saw me coming. Last time I get screwed there. Unhappy customer!
First time customer, very pleased. The annoying "check engine" light promptly fixed with new solenoid. Fair price, very professional, no surprises. Recommend.

Best repair facility in town the mechanic Brian he's a really good guy he's always so sweet to me he talks to me man to man and tells me what's wrong with my car he reminds me of my man at home and when he's done with my car he always gives me a wink and tells me come and see us again
Blew a tire out on the highway. Of course during massive power outage. Went to 2 other places, 1 out of power and one no tires. Went to Buds. Not only did they find a Great used tire that fit but had it on in less than 20 minutes for a great deal. Thank you for helping me! & saving me from having to call a towing co. Buds helped me to get to work in morning! Great Service!
This place is awesome. I walked in there with 24 hours before I had to leave town and they got me in and did a awesome job. Highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Bud's repair will get you back on the road. Great job guys.

This is my REAL experience: I was in an accident 30 miles away and insisted my car be towed to Bud's. They tentatively quoted my repair to cost about $950 and I agreed. Ultimately the repair was only $700. A less than honest mechanic would find means to pad the bill since I did agree to $950. But not Bud's Repair !!
