I usually have a good experience at the O'Reilly's. Today was a little different because an employee stopped assisting me and went outside to do a code reader on a car for another customer. I felt a little offended. I mentioned it the other associate working there. His reply was, "We are short staffed after 2pm." I told him that is understandable but first come, first serve. I asked him to remind his coworker later without making a scene. He shrugged me off I feel, so I making a review and showing the time and date I was there as proof.
I always thought an auto parts store is an auto parts store is an auto parts store is a......you get the picture. After years of being a shade tree mechanic, I have learned that is simply not the case. These guys have knowledge, but acknowledge they don't have all the answers. They don't make you feel dumb, and they aren't pushy. They have what you need at competitive prices. Sometimes even what you need for your boat!
Out of the many auto parts stores I have in my town I choose to go to this one. The workers are always upbeat and positive and seem like they really enjoy their job. And of course I enjoy that my 5'4" self doesn't have to change my own wipers with a step stool and they do it for me.
I really like this place and I've been coming here for decades, but lately it seems like their quality has kind diminished it's extremely rude and unprofessional to answer phones and talk to other customers while you're already helping another customer attend to the customers who have in the store first
I need an alternator diagnosed on a friend's car. They came out and diagnosed the alternator the starter the charging system and all. Turned out it just needed a new battery
We all know by now that quality people are becoming extinct. Especially quality people that work at quality companies. I have been a number of O’Reilly Auto Parts stores and so far I have yet to be disappointed. And today was no different. I went in with a simple need for a new battery but what I got was more than I expected. Real quality people who are well aware of how our society is struggling to keep its sanity. But with these two employees, they gave me a real people experience. Talked about the death of the middle class, laughed about how they were all out of stock on flux-capacitors, and got an excellent sale on a battery for my 2017 Kia Soul.
Thank you Zack and the other employee, who I did not get her name. I most definitely will be coming back with my auto needs and a good conversation.
Best service I've had any time I need parts for anything or fluids or anything the employees are very kind and take there time to make sure you are happy with your purchases
The Guys were extremely helpful , I was looking for a over flow tank hose . They suggested to come back with the original hose to give them something to go by as a reference. I haven't done that yet but plan to do so real soon ....
I think he was the night manager was so helpful. After I got the part for my jeep, I went back to it and it wouldn't start. He tried to do what he could, but no such luck. He allowed me to leave my jeep in the parking lot until the next day until my son and his friend could work on it.
I'm especially thankful for "Tony", he has proven to be the ( MVP )most valuable person in this store, has saved my butt several times through the knowledge & experience he has. It will be a sad day for us customers whenever he leaves.

I always pick businesses based on how I am treated and this is why I pick O'Reilly! Tristan was extremely helpful with the part I needed and even helped me install it while making sure it was up to standard! Something you don't expect going into a business but was extremely impressed with Tristan! I will continue to go here just cause of my experience.
Patrick was a GOD-SEND during last week's storm as we traveled through the area (soooo slowly), and our wiper blades got torn up from all the ice buildup. We literally HAD to replace the blades in the middle of our roadtrip, and did buy some, but neither of us could figure out how to remove the old ones. We were worried we'd break them! Patrick was happy to help and ... snap.. snap..snap snap... the old ones were off and the new ones were on! Excellent service. Definitely recommend!
O'Reilly's never lets me down! The guys are always very helpful and never make me feel dumb, like other places have. They are very knowledgeable and willing to help you. It's our place to go!
Went in and bought headlights at the end of their night awesome service I had my parts and stock no hassles the gentleman behind the counter even came out and made sure the correct lights were purchased. Definitely would recommend this O'Reilly
Always a great experience. Went twice today. Car was having issues. Tried fuel additive first. Then did some battery checks. Was the battery of course. They removed the old one and installed the new one. O'Reilly is the place to go.
Always staffed with great employees, the employees are all so kind & willing to help. Especially if you have dumb questions (like I do). They will educate you if you are willing to learn, which most of the time is above their pay-grade. Parts sold are usually always correctly fitted to the specifications of my vehicles. Would recommend this auto parts store.
Not a bad place to deal with. The reason for my rating is due to an employee there by the name of Zac or Zach at the Columbia Ave store. I’m employed with a company that purchases many different products through O’Reilly’s when we may not have what we need in stock. I called today 4/28/2020 with an inquiry on availability of a fuel filter and if the employee mentioned above could do a cross reference search to point me in the right direction. The employee was extremely rude over the phone, very short, and unpleasant to work with. Customer service is obviously not his strong suit. I am a working supervisor and a lead technician. I understand that people can be difficult to deal with and I understand that everyone has a bad day once in awhile. What really blew me away though was when we were wrapping up our discussion, I was hung up on. Absolutely unacceptable. These people are the face of your company. Horrible customer service.
This place helps you figure out what parts you need and if you end up not needing it they have a simple and great return policy. The staff is friendly and helpful, the store is easy to navigate and it’s at a convenient location. I go there for all my auto parts needs.
I own a transmission shop in Battle Creek and as a Business spend tens of thousands of dollars a year my main supplier was O’Rileys until one of there radiators failed and completely destroyed one of my rebuilt transmissions plus was in a vehicle of someone I personally know and this was the second radiator we’ve been getting the run around for about 5 months they finally made an offer of 280.00 for a 2000.00 job , that’s just a slap in the face... not only will I never use them again but neither will any of my customers nor will I recommend them to anyone
Not impressed with the help.. Took light bulbs back to get refund. The guy only rings up 2 of the 4 bulbs. I had to tell him that the others are being returned also. Got the deer in the headlights look from him. Doubt if I go back to this store.
Extremely helpful! I had gone to another auto parts store and they were too "busy" to help me with installing a headlight. O'Reilly's did it super quick and without an excuse. I just went to them today for something else and they were again extremely polite and helpful. They should be where everyone goes!
