Rude as hell all the time. The guy at the front desk that is usually there is nice. But I will never go here again. Ever. I called as a customer and he was rude as hell telling me he don't have time for my questions. They lost a loyal customer. I've been going here for years.
DONT GO HERE! TERRIBLE! i took my car in to get overheating fixed ended up being a radiator i was charged almost $2,000 to be fixed. they blew my head gasket, refused to fix it! terrible service , terrible work save your money please!
Had to have warranty work done to replace my engine, and Auto Lab was very accommodating during the process! Always on top of getting ahold of the warranty company and letting my know what was happening throughout the entire process!
My father in law went here for an oil change and they ended up charging him over 300 dollars for replacing a license plate bulb and looking at his fog lights. He went there for an oil change. Will not recommend this place to anyone. Another mechanic shop with no morals or integrity.
This is one of the worst auto shops I’ve ever been to.. I spent almost $3000 there and they broke my windshield from what I hear they’ve broken many windshields and they choose not to fix it and claim they are not liable. I have pictures proving that my windshield was not broken when they started but they still refused to fix it and claim that cars in their parking lot they are not liable for anything that happens to them when they have no trees in their parking lot and my car was not in their parking lot. It was in the garage all week, and there was smears all over it like from tools. Do not take your car to this establishment if you want to keep it. especially if you have a nice car it’ll be ruined.. and they over charge for horrible rude service.. not worth it..
While traveling through the area, I experienced a major suspension issue that required immediate service. Being unfamiliar with the area, I came to Auto-Lab; they were kind enough to fit me in on short notice and were able to get me back on the road quickly and for an affordable price. Thank you Frank and crew for the courteous first class customer care!
Took my car in for a diagnostic and engine light in July. Mechanic did not put engine cover back in place!!!! I noticed in August and spoke with Frank who located the engine cover, and put my name on the part and would hang on to it. I scheduled another appointment and asked if they could make sure to return the cover to the engine during this appointment. They assured me they could do so and when they called about the other issue they said the cleaning lady must have thew away my cover. Did not offer to replace or compensate me. Instead blaming me for not getting in sooner
They said, they can check my car. First off, never told me it was a 100 dollars to check my car. Also, told me shouldn't get my car fix. I got my car fixed for way less then what they told me. The old Auto lab was better. This new auto lab is garbage.
Had My truck worked on for new brakes and lines. After getting my truck backed notice I had a cracked windshield. Called and confronted them and they did not own up to it or fixed it. I know what my windshield looked when I dropped it off. Was very disappointed in the fact they couldn't make it right.
I needed the battery replaced in my car. Called ahead to make an appointment and was taken care of same day in less than an hour. Was offered several different options and never felt pressured to go with the most expensive.
The only place I've taken my cars in the last 10 years. You want cheap go to Walmart. You want a job well done with no issues and warranted work? Go here. "We Test and Don't Guess"

The replaced my AC compressor and got the AC going but dismantled my KN Cold air intake and did not put it back the way it was so I don't recommend them nor will I be returning to them for anything!!! Here photos of how they say that their job was completed!!!
Dropped off my vehicle for the scheduled appointment, Frank got in touch with me with a diagnosis of a bad wheel bearing within an hour and the cost of repairs. Work was completed within 3 hours and my vehicle drives great again. Great job AutoLab I will be back the next time I need any repairs.
I have a warrantee through precision claims auto lab got me in quick semt in all the paperwork and got me my car back in 2 days. 1 day for diagnosis and paperwork/shipping parts and one day of labor. Glad i got My Pretty back.
Wait time for an appointment was a little long but by far worth it. They diagnosed and repaired quite a few things on my vehicle and while one thing was rather hard to figure out Kurt didn’t charge me any extra for the extensive diagnostic time. He was always extremely professional and friendly. 10/10 would recommend and definitely return for any other work I need in the future.
Wanted to take a minute to thank Curt and his team for a good well done! With my (paid in full) 2003 Jeep Liberty it was either get these repairs done, and there was a lot that needed to be done, or get a new vehicle and have a monthly vehicle payment. So glad I went with Auto-Lab. They breathed new life back into my vehicle and now there isn’t anything left on my Jeep that must be fixed. I can’t say for certain but if I was a betting man I’d say I’ll at least get another solid 2 to 3 years out of my Jeep now. Significantly cheaper than getting a new vehicle. Thank you again Curt and everyone who worked on my Jeep!
PS. They even have a great sense of humor and are some intelligent reasonable people to talk with.

My husband and I decided any new used vehicles we get go straight to Curt. He takes excellent care of our vehicles and is always referred to as "our mechanic" even though we don't go often. They fix our vehicles right so we don't have to take them back! 7/5 stars!

Make your appointment with Curt and expect to be treated well. Because that's how he does it. I regularly get my oil changed here and his price is less than one of the most well known local chains. Andehe isn't trying to get me to buy other stuff. Called for an estimate and when I mentioned the price for the service he told me I'd need, he corrected me so I would understand and the price he was quoting was less than I had figured in my head. Auto Lab is fair on prices, provides great service and Curt will troubleshoot like nobody's business. My wait time doesn't keep me from getting other stuff done either. I've used several of the many garages here and I believe I have found my guys.
Every experience I've had here has been great. Curt is amazing. He looks out for his customers and tells us how it is no sugar coating. I'd give this place a million stars. Prices are great, the service is great. I would go to this place even if I lived an hour away just because it's hard to find this kind of service.
Curt is a great guy. Very helpful, and knowledgeable. They do pretty good work too. We have been going to auto Lab for years, back when they were in the corner of 20th St. Great people.

Best customer service I've ever experienced at an auto shop. The guys here are top notch. They did great work and took the time to explain exactly what was wrong with each part. Rather than charging me labor for the whole process, they charged only an hour and apologized for it taking longer. Told me they appreciated my patience. I greatly appreciate their customer service!
I took my car in to have the exhaust looked at and I must say, when talking about a place you can trust, this is it! Service and quality is top notch! Curt and the guys have set the bar and gained my business going forward! He fit me in his busy schedule to get the car looked at.
I had some other work that needed done and he referred me elsewhere, but the level of respect and honesty is a rare find! Highly recommend this place!
Friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy. Curt is a great guy and he knows his stuff. Upfront estimate, very fair pricing and they stand by their work. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Never dealt with such honest people. Had issue with truck so called them was going to have them put new fuel pump in thought for sure that's what it was. Over the phone the guy told us about fuel pump module. Looked into it and sure enough were able to fix it in about half hour ourselves and only cost us 100.00 instead of 700-1000. Don't know many places these day that wouldnt of just convinced you into bringing it in and racking up a hefty bill. Thanks for being so honest and definitely will be recommending you guys for any auto needs.
Best in Battle Creek and surrounding area! Very on point and honest! I had spent a reasonable amount of time at the shop a couple of years ago. I had listened to them do business several times with all sorts of people. I was quite surprised a couple of times when Curt (the shop owner) told some people there was nothing to fix as the sound that was coming from their car was normal and it just needed some small adjustment. That is unheard of: leaving an auto mechanic with that sort of news! You just never know who you can trust to be 100% honest with that kind of thing. I have no reservations whatsoever when it comes to Auto Lab in BC. I highly recommend them to everyone!
What a great place! Drove from Milwaukee to buy a used car in Battle Creek. Called to ask if Auto Lab folks would look it over before the purchase. Had to change the time we'd bring the car by two or three times -- they were so accommodating, so genuinely thoughtful and so informative. We felt confident purchasing the car after their diagnosis. Only sorry we can't do business with them all the time.
