Left my driver stranded for five hours for a fuel transfer issue. I kept getting excuses as to why a tech couldn't show up and the rejectionist Morgan was beyond rude.
Hands down the best customer service - diesel F350 needed to be towed & I was 1.5 hrs away from home on a Saturday- company operator was very kind & helpful. Michael came out right away and even offered to tow the truck all the way back to my mechanic of choice for a very reasonable rate!
Zach pulled over right away when he saw me with a blown out tire on the side of the road. He was super helpful and very nice! He changed it right away for me. Super thankful for his kindness.

Out of all the tow companies that came up on Google in the area (with 24hrs posted for hours) this tow company is THE ONLY one to answer at 5:30-5:45 a.m. That alone shows they stand on what they advertise!! Devin was very polite & helpful. Best price for a lockout as well!!
I was stranded on the side of the interstate for over 3hrs waiting around for AAA who said the closest tow was 2hrs out, what a joke. Called around to towing companies myself and First Call said they could get someone to me within 30minutes. SOLD!
Dominique came to my rescue! As a fellow female who also works in a male dominated industry, it was great to see another woman out rockin' it! She was totally competent, had my car loaded no problem, and to a shop right away. Was easy going and calming in a stressful situation, waited while I made arrangements with the shop, and went above and beyond all around. Give her a raise, she deserves it!!!

Used this company almost two weeks ago to have my plow truck towed to a location to get ready for winter. Driver act like he didn’t know what he was doing loading up my truck crooked. Once driver reached the destination to drop my truck off he back into driveway crooked tipping the bed up unhook all his chains and just let my truck roll off the back of his wrecker causing the truck to hit barn causing damage. Driver then hooks truck up drags it forward just to do the same thing but now he’s off to the other side to far and hit the barn with my truck again causing more damage. I called into the office to speak with owner or manager to discuss the situation and damage done just to get told someone would be in contact with me to resolve the situation and yet still have not heard anything. Would definitely not recommend this company.
Awful! They accepted a request through my roadside. I ordered for a locksmith, saying my keys are not lock in the car, but won’t turn the lock.
They send someone who thinks my keys are stuck in the ignition, and does not have a lockout kit in his car. “It’s with another driver” so the whole company is sharing one? You wouldn’t bring it to a locksmith call?
They told me to have my car towed to a dealerShip,, instead of just bringing their kit to unlock my car!!!! Incompetent and rude!
The first time I had them tow a vehicle, they were great. The second time, I scheduled a tow for a later date (when my preferred shop would have time to check it out) and First Call didn't show up. No one contacted me to let me know they wouldn't be able to keep my appointment at the scheduled time. I called 10 minutes after the scheduled time to inquire and the dispatch lady was short and irritable with me. She said they wouldn't be able to come for another hour, so I had to call someone else.
I would not have a problem if I had just been notified in advance that they couldn't keep my appointment. Apparently that's too much to ask.
Last Call Towing!!! This business does NOT deserve your business! Their wrecker was towing a gravel truck on a major highway. The screen on the gravel truck was not down, and rocks came flying at my vehicle. I sustained a large chip, which resulted in a now severely damaged windshield. Also scratches on my hood.. I called and talked to the person who answered the phone (she was not the nicest, wouldn’t even let me talk). Then finally got through after a couple of days. Talked to Todd #1. He was beyond RUDE. Then called and talked to Todd #2 today, and he said that I have to claim this on my own insurance as a “road hazard”. How STAND UP of this company!! Can’t even own up to their damage done, to my vehicle. Odds are they also won’, if you use them for tow services either!!! ANY claim on insurance, will make my policy go up, per my insurance agent. So their negligence, is my problem now. Don’t use this company PERIOD!
First off, my road side assistance is kinda dump, I’ve had to use it 3 times now over the last 5 years and each time the get a towing company that’s like an hour plus drive from where I am. This last time I was downtown Lansing, and they got someone from battle creek… but that’s a bad review for them not these guys. The drive got there really fast for how far he came from. He did great getting my van load on the truck bed quickly but with care. I was able to ride in the cab with him and tell him about the van troubles and he was able to confirm my suspicion on what the problem was. My alternator went bad.. Bug shout out to these guys for what they do, it was a cold night to be out, and they just smile and help get you home. Thanks again!
Very rude, didn’t seem to know what he was doing stated that he had to call for someone with more experience, they never came so he kept trying. The wedge flew out at one point and scratched the back door at which point he asked if that scratch had been there prior and I said no. He stated that he would let his boss know and they would take care of it. Then he finally got the door open and called his boss and stated that there were no damages I said there’s the scratch and he said there no way it could have been him. I told him he admitted to it earlier and that he said the company would take care of it and he back tracked and said he never once said any of that. Definitely would not recommend them to anyone
Car was unsecured on the flatbed and literally dropped off at the repair shop. The car rolled backward, dropped eight inches and hit the building. Nobody from the company notified me. The shop mechanic took photos and notified us. It’s been seven weeks of pure frustration dealing with the avoidance and lies from this company about who and when it will be reviewed. Now they are doing the same thing to the insurance company looking for a response from them. Never. Ever. Ever use these guys. Never.
I would have given negative stars if it would have let me.
They were supposed to tow my daughter's car to a repair shop 15 miles away and it's now 36 hours later and they still haven't taken her car to it's destination but it still sits at their place.
I would not recommend this company to anyone unless it's a last resort.
They also wanted to charge me storage fees for keeping my daughter's car since they didn't take it to the destination like they were supposed to and they said they wouldn't tow her car until it's paid first even though this tow was covered 100% under insurance.
I am a AAA member and First Call Towing was sent out to assist me. The Gentlemen went above and beyond July 23rd for me. I have never been treated with such time, care and respect. He even followed us to our home to make sure the car didn't stall out on my family again. I would recommend this company to anyone needing such services. All I can say is they were OUTSTANDING all around. I will be recommend them and they are newer to the area. I am thankful for the attention he took to make sure we could get on our way and safely home. I am posting this on behalf of our AAA member. I spoke with Zack on the phone who was very helpful.. as helpful as he could be. Nate the manager was very understanding and very helpful as to giving me clear instructions as to what I'd need to get an impounded vehicle out that is registered in my incarcerated BF'S name. Hoping things work out in my favor tomorrow and I'm able to get are Mercedes out of the impound.
I called “first call towing” and they answered right away! I was in schoolcraft mi and they were in Battle Creek and showed up to recover my wood chipper within a half hour. Price was very reasonable and the crew was very knowledgeable and personable. The chipper was 300ft off the road behind my customers house in the down pouring rain. I recommend this company 100%
Absolutely phenomenal. My car was stuck in Kalamazoo and the operator offered to tow my car all the way back to Illinois so I don't have to worry about it stuck many hours from home. Made my day. Totally would recommend their services if anyone else is in the same situation.
Holly came and unlocked our truck door. Friendly, arrived at the time frame told and even chatted with us once she was done. No issues and recommend her and this company. Insurance company is one who picked, but now I would.
Super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly! Dan came to the rescue when my husband and I were stuck with a rental car overheating. He followed us to the nearest rental car facility, where we got another car, and he towed away the overheated one. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
Worst company and customer service that I have ever felt with before!!! I've been in management positions, and know what customer service should look like!! The first gentleman to arrive informed us he didn't have the proper equipment, but he'd be back in a few minutes, an hour later we're still waiting. We called them back only to find out that they cancelled our call with AAA and turned down the job, just decided to not inform us. AAA posted another call and they excepted it again. The tow truck driver seemed confident that he could do the job, but the dispatcher kept denying it and turning down the job, but only after they strung us along for 5 hours. The dispatcher made a game of it like having me wait in the cold with my disabled friend was funny. I will never call on this company again, not will I ever recommend them to anyone I know. AAA also called me and took areport from me as well on the horrible customer service!!
A very nice young man came and picked up my most treasured vehicle that cost a year's pay. He took two fobs to make sure he could move the car. Only one fob ended up with the dealer. I contacted First Call and they were very concerned and caring. I appreciated that. They took me seriously and helped me with the issue. I appreciated the caring attitude and their serious attention and help. Great people who own this business!
Had a problem with my car, AAA sent First Call out to get me a tow. Dan was super quick, arrived within 15 minutes. He was professional, loaded and unloaded my car without causing any extra damage, and offered some advise as well.

Landon came to tow a loaner car that I had from Hertz that wouldn't start. Thanks Hertz. :/ My driveway is not fun to maneuver! He did an excellent job getting the car out of where it was parked and onto the tow truck. Very nice young man, too.

They park all 3 flatbed trucks in the trailer park blocking the lane to drive through everyday. Very unprofessional and rude. If this is how they are outside of work I can bet they are just as rude and unprofessional at work.
1st Call responded through a AAA call after I got stranded in a construction zone on I196. Their driver Andrew showed up to help. He had the car lifted and secured so fast he should be working in a pit crew. Driver was a pro in his job and really polite and helpful in everything. Towed the car 40 miles away to my repair shop with no questions. Highly recommended.
