Terrible experience, no empathy, or concern. We were made to pay $20 for one gallon of gas because they apparently do not carry cash. The car needed more than a gallon and we ended up paying another $20. The service provider was unbothered and really removed. I’d rather walk to the gas station than call these people.

I called them in April and twice in May to let them know I lived in portage and that I would be down to turn my title over and clean out my car, i was having trouble getting to battle creek, they claimed they had no contact with me and they scrapped my vehicle!! All my things gone!! Mind you my vehicle was stolen and they crashed it!!! The junk yard had absolutely no sympathy for my situation!!!

I had locked my keys in my car called a company. They told me it’s going to be $200. I called Buzz wrecker. They only charged me $78 and were there within 30 minutes. They had my car unlocked within five minutes very fast and professional would highly recommend to anyone
They are scam , I don’t recommend for anyone, I got break down in Marshall Loves towed to D&K truck INC, they said it’s 175$ per hour total would be 865$ but they charge me 275$ per hour.

Only open 5 days out the week yet they charge you everyday for storage. Tried to file a notice of abandonment to try to get my truck. but didn’t bother notifying me about anything. To top it all off completely trashed my car inside throwing mud and debris all over my truck. It wasn’t like my truck was totaled or anything, it was just a fender bender and broken tail light. They knew I would drive a t again they just didn’t care and wanted to sale my truck. Don’t waste your time and money with these scam artists.
I wasn’t sure who our driver was Saturday 1/11/25. My husband’s truck didn’t want to start. We know it wasn’t the key fob as we just replaced the batteries, so we are thinking it’s the ignition switch or something to do with the remote car starter. My husband was in Sam’s club, the driver was phenomenal, knew exactly what he was doing since my husbands truck wouldn’t go into neutral.. I’d definitely do business with them again
Jordan is amazing!!! He got us unstuck from hanging off a small cliff within minutes. I thought I was gonna lose my suv an have lots of damage but to my surprise not a scratch! Thank you Jordan!!

Jordan , was a great help , very nice , very understanding, offered to take me home after dropping my car off, didn’t take long at all!. i’ll definitely be using this tow company again ( hopefully i don’t have any more problems with my car lol ) but if i do i’ll definitely be calling buds!
My car left me stranded at the chiropractor. I called roadside assistance and Bud’s towing was here in less than 30 minutes. Their trucks are clean and in good working condition the driver was kind professional obviously knows his job. Thanks Jordon.
Recently my daughter’s car left her stranded and I called Buds. The driver, Leroy, called a few minutes later to give an ETA and confirm the location. When Leroy arrived he was so incredibly polite and professional. It was evident he takes pride in his job and represented the company to the highest level.

They didn't listen to where to take my truck. She assumed I had no insurance which baby I keep full coverage. Then the debris from the accident instead of putting it in their trash can they threw it in the back of my truck on leather seats.
I had to have my car towed, but State Farm put it in as a jump. The nice man Leroy was nice enough to wait until I changed the service call. He was real nice and professional, and provided great service! Thank you Buds towing...

Overall great service & no complaints. This is not my first time using this tow service, and is always friendly and good at what they do. Being 22 years old, I have never felt like I’m being ripped off, or overcharged at any point. I’ve seen some outlandish claims, as far as reviews, & I don’t believe not one of them. It’s my local tow shop, & I’ve used their service about 3-4 times in the last 6 years & will definitely be calling agin when needed. Oh & shout out to Issac for being a in such a great mood while being easy to talk to.
I'm out of state and got locked out of my vehicle. This was the cheapest option closest to me, and the driver got there fast! Leroy was very professional and got the job done in under 10 minutes! Other places close by wouldn't accept my cash, but I would highly recommend this place!
Would have given a better rating before I went to get personal belongings from my car. One of the drivers was very pleasant, the other barely spoke. The gal at the facility was very pleasant and really helpful. When she took us to my car I almost cried. All the debris, including the oil dry, sawdust and car parts from the accident scene were dumped in the floor of the back seat. The driver window was left open and a raccoon had been allover inside. Until that moment I had hoped they wouldn't total my car. They really need to have something on the truck to put the debris in. Not the vehicle. Sorry, not happy.
WORST service I've ever had to deal with. Except the dispatch woman and the man who actually towed my jeep, who were incredibly sweet and very kind. My accident happened in January, and to this day I would rather saw my own foot off than ever have myself or family/friends deal with Bud's Towing. I've heard many horror stories but figured they were just disgruntled people with wrecked vehicles taking their anger out on the business. BUT NO. The horror stories are true and if I had the option the day of the accident, I would've made sure Bud's had nothing to do with my jeep. They are thieves and liars and the woman at the front desk is nothing short of Satan himself. The way she speaks to people is unbelievable and I would be SO embarrassed if my front office staff who represented my company treated anyone the way she treated my boyfriend and I, the day after I got into a car accident and my jeep was totaled. I was very nice and smiling when I came in, but dealing with her brought out frustration quick. She is very unprofessional and doesn't care about helping anyone. long story short - Jeep TITLE was in my exes name but he confirmed it was actually mine and my registration was inside the jeep but she refused to investigate that so I could prove to her the jeep was mine. I simply just needed my stuff out of it and that's it, I didn't even care to go back there if someone wanted to just grab my expensive stuff that was inside it, including my work vests for my associates. Then come to find out they DID get in my jeep and told me the registration wasn't in there and nothing else was when I know I had a LOT of important docs/makeup bag/breathalyzer for the bar friends and several other things in my jeep's glove compartment and center console. So where is all of my stuff? Not to mention the stuff in the back of my jeep. its been 7 months and I haven't been allowed once to even GET my stuff out of the vehicle and neither has my insurance company. I've heard from multiple people that they come to retrive the items from their cars on their lot and whole steros are missing and expensive items they KNOW were in their cars. Never thought a professional company would stoop so low but here we are. On top of worrying about my personal belongings that I had to leave behind being stolen, the lady was very hostile for NO reason. When you deal with something very tragic and unexpected like that car accident, the last thing you should deal with is a woman talking down to you like you're in trouble or even lying straight to your face. As long as she's employed, you'll never succeed. Do better "Bud".
My daughter had an accident. The police towed her car there. We had some questions about how to get the car towed somewhere else 2 see if it could be fixed without dealing with an insurance company. The lady @ the counter was extremely rude & unprofessional. I was nothing but calm/courteous to this woman. I asked her 2 please call a supervisor I could speak with & she flat out refused. Stating that her family owned that business & she didn't have 2 call anyone & wasn't going 2. Then tried 2 throw us out. Called the police & said we were trespassing. Police showed up & was amazing. Offered 2 stay there with us until our problem was resolved. Long story short...don't ever do business here until they get a new person in that main office on Raymond Rd. Unless you intentionally want an experience from hell. But I will say the drivers are amazing, kind, courteous, & helpful. The central dispatch lady who takes the calls is as well. But do not have your car towed there & have to deal with that woman!!!
Terrible, disgraceful company straight from hell. My 16 year old daughter crashed in a white out and was stuck in a ditch. After getting her car out, I asked to fetch her purse and the rest of the belongings she had with her. Everything was in there except the wallet inside of her purse. My daughter even said the man was trying to haggle money before I arrived, and spent a great deal of time in her car (just to put it in neutral) Guy was a meathead and the bill was over a thousand dollars plus the money they stole. Recommending Buds in Battle Creek to nobody. Ever.
Got in an accident and driver took my vehicle to impound and when I asked if I should get my stuff out right then, he told me that I could come in the morning and clear everything out, "no problem". Called the office the next day to check what their hours were and was (very rudely) told that I'm not allowed near MY stuff until insurance pays them. It's not my fault that the insurance agency can't Instantly pay them, and even still, the CAR wouldn't be going anywhere, only My stuff that has nothing to with anything.
My family and I got stranded in battle creek at 8:30pm. I made a phone call and Cody was quick to react. He was great and sat with us until someone came to pick up 4 of us. He was quick and the communication was amazing. Highly recommend Cody for help!
Last thing I needed is a tow at the end of the night. I called and they came out right away and being on I94 wasnt very nice either. Martin was very nice, professional and safe with my car and got me taken care of.

While moving my son and his wife from Chicago to home in severe weather one of our cars broke down two hours from home. Our roadside towing company said they could tow us home the following day as they were not leaving the area due to weather. We decided to try calling other towing companies to see if they could get us home (we had people who already made it home and was waiting for us to unload their trailer so they could drive home) and to see if we could get a better price. Bud’s was one of the companies we called. They were so friendly on the phone, said they could drive the car to our home that night (it was around 10-11 p.m), and they were HALF the price of our roadside company. Guys was super friendly when he arrived even after experiencing a “Karen” in the parking lot. We headed out before them as they had to go to another gas station to fuel up and they still beat us to our home. So glad we decided to call around. Thanks again guys!
