Scott the service technician was quick, polite and efficient. I called to be towed to the shop to get a new battery. But he asked if I wanted a jump? I said sure give it a try. To my surprise the car started right up. That simple suggestion saved me $35.
I would not recommend this towing company, especially if you have a newer or high-end vehicle.
My BMW would not go into neutral. Instead of taking the time to do it properly, the tow operator yanked the car onto the tow truck with the parking brake still engaged.
At the time, I was uncomfortable with how it was handled, and unfortunately that concern turned out to be justified. Within one to two weeks after the tow I am now having issues with my vehicle.
The handling of my vehicle was rushed. If you care about your vehicle being towed correctly and safely, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.
I want to clarify a few things after the response.
The battery was not completely dead, and even though the BMW was out of fuel, it can still be put into neutral using the proper procedure. I was actively looking this up at the time. Instead of taking the time to do that or using proper equipment, the car was pulled onto the tow truck with the parking brake engaged.
In this situation, when we previously had another BMW towed, the company used rollers/dollies and handled it correctly, showing that safer options were available.
Hit a pot hole, destroyed 2 tires. Called and the owner was there quick. Friendly and caring. Really nice man. Made us feel comfortable and treated our car like his own. They will always get my business
Scott was phenomenal! Everyone was so kind as this was my first time having to be towed alone. They offered to bring me back to Chicago which is about a 2 hour drive from where we were. I appreciate all this company did for me!!
Didn’t get his name but the driver just assisted us at the Paw Paw high school with a lock out. He was very polite and got us in the car quickly! Thank you!
Amazing service. We are a band on the road and Jason came right out and helped get our bus out of its situation. On thanksgiving day no less. Amazing guy, amazing service.
Went in there to get a tire patch and the tire moved to a new rim. I was told 20 or $30. Then I was charged $40 and they didn't give me back my old rim. Normally when I go there everybody is very helpful and it's one of the cheaper places. My advice is don't go if a guy named Tom is working.
Was fully prepared to buy a used/new and the nice man told me that he could easily fix my tire without having to replace it! Was only $25 to patch my tire compared to the $60 for a replacement. I appreciate the honesty and help!
On November 1st we were traveling with our 5th wheel trailer in southwestern Michigan when we had a significant blowout on the trailer. We attempted to secure a company to make the tire change even leveraging AAA. After a few hours AAA was able to contract with Zielke to provide service on the side of I-94. The towing tech (Thomas) arrived and was able to change the tire on our trailer. He went above and beyond to make the tire change as we have independent suspension on the trailer which makes jacking the trailer another challenge. He also was able to locate two tires and directed us back to their shop where he mounted new tires on our trailer and spare rim. We were able to meet the owner (Justin) at the shop. Both men were incredible and we were on our way. Thanks to a great company and two great guys.
Our 25 ft Class C RV needed a tow repairs. Tom arrived promptly & was able to maneuver the tow truck & RV down a narrow clearance driveway to successfully get onto the main road from our property! Courteous & professional & good value for this difficult tow! Kudos
Tom towed my car after an accident. He took em to the shop and told me where I could wait to get picked up. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. 100% great customer service.
Got my RV towed on Labor day by Jeremy, super nice guy, very professional and personable. Was able to get to the shop the next day and talk with some of the fabricators about what would need to happen and feel confident they're going to be able to repair my battery compartment. The whole company gives the vibe that they're tinkerers that enjoy what they do.
Dionte was wonderful! Tire blew on the side of the interstate and he got to me in no time and got me to to the tire store nearby safely. He was patient with all my questions, because I was freaking out, and I appreciate that.
Jason was very helpful a few weeks ago when my serpentine belt broke on highway 94. He towed my Ford Explorer and repaired it for me so I could get back on the road. He made time in his schedule and I really appreciated it!
I have used Zielke Towing several times before and they have always been quick to respond and punctual. Their drivers like Dionte, are kind, knowledgeable, professional, and willing to help in your time of need.
The tire guy was amazing(so bad with names). He went above and beyond for us. We had a blowout on the side of the highway and finally made it to him. The lady said they had our tire but didn’t so he went to find us some. We ended up getting 2 tires and then put on for the price of a tire at a regular tire shop.
I needed 2 trailer tires mounted. First 2 places I stopped acted like I was asking for a miracle. Best offer was leave them on Thursday, could take until Tuesday just to look at them. Jason at Zielke said, " bring 'em around the side to Steve, we'll get you taken care of right now". Great people, excellent service and fair pricing. I am glad I met these guys, I'll be back!
In town for vacation and woke up to a flat tire. Zielke was extremely helpful and kind. They patched my tire and got my on the road quickly and for a very reasonable price. You won't find this type of service with any chain stores. Thanks again for the help!!
Jason and his crew rescued my family on Sunday afternoon on long road trip. He came in and got my car on the road so we could get home. Awesome privately owned business, you can't get that service from a chain.

Big thank you to Mark & E! These guys went out of their way on a busy, rainy, cold Friday night to get to me & help me out of a huge jam. Their phones were ringing non stop with calls and they answered all of them and were very polite and quick to change my tire. Mark took the time to give me instructions on how to drive on the donut and called to make sure I was safe! I was very impressed & am very grateful. Reasonable price too. Stay safe out there on the road folks. If your in trouble Ile pray you find guys like Zielke.
I never imagined I would say, the day my car broke down and was stranded in the middle of nowhere, a day I hope to never forget. My dad and I were driving from Michigan to Denver when the plug to my oil tank completely fell off. I didn't consider road tripping on a holiday weekend an issue. I regret saying we called AAA, Subaru, among others for help and everyone offered us few options. My dad informed me he found someone who would pick us up and he said he had a really good feeling about this guy. Little did I know what I was in for. Mark from Zielke towing was a literal angel. I had a real life Bruce Almighty, is this Morgan Freeman moment. He was a sigh of relief the moment he arrived. Mark assured me that he was going to do everything possible to get us back on the road and boy did he. Not only was the towing experience beyond, he took us to Zielke's repair shop where he got to work on my car immediately. Before that, we was hot on the phone calling people to problem shoot my car issue and figure out solutions. ON A SUNDAY and HOLIDAY WEEKEND another employee or possible owner of the shop, swung by with his kids in car and delegated a solution. It was one of the most phenomenal experiences I've had in my life. I had little hope we would continue our journey home but within a hour or two we were well on our way. It gave my dad and I something to talk about on repeat for 20 hours. They literally saved us. The only down side to the experience is I live in Denver and that I can't regularly visit these guys and have my car worked on by them. I still regret not giving Mark a big hug. He gave me so much more than a safe car that got me home but instilled that there are still good people out in the world just wanting to help each other. Because of Mark I will continue to pay it forward many times over. Mark went above and beyond and had me smiling throughout the entire experience. He not only showed me how he fixed the problem but taught me a lot about my car and how to demand good quality work, which can be hard if you're a girl! If your car is going to break down, fingers crossed it's near Benton Harbor so you can call Zielke's and experience Mark's spirit. They've gotta allow more than 5 stars for people like Mark and Zielke Towing & Tires. Thank you thank you thank you! Cheers!

After about the worst day at work, I picked up my son, and drove to McDonald's. Right after we got our food, my vehicle broke down. Luckily, Zielke's towing responded quickly! They sent me a true angel. Mark was amazing! Extremely nice and very polite. I felt like I was talking to a friend! I don't think I have ever experienced such an amazing service from a towing personal! If I could I would give him 100/5 stars!!!!
