I was pleasantly surprised with the service I received from Larry. He is a no non-sense, efficient and experienced man. The cost was very reasonable and I have a new source for this service.
John towed my car. He checked my oil and said it was empty. He told me to call Hyundai about their engine recall. M-43 body shop came and picked it up. Was told the engine was seized up because it was out of oil and it'd cost $5500 to replace it. I mentioned the recall and he knew about it. He told me about a customer that had her's replaced due to recall. So why didn't he tell me instead of wanting $5500? I called Hyundai and had M-43 tow it to the Fox dealership in Grand Rapids. They checked it and the engine is being replaced free of charge. I will be forever grateful to John.
Stranded in Hastings, need transmission fluid, the two open parts stores, less than a mile away, won't deliver, their ad says they do, they don't. This towing service came to us, picked up my hubby, drove him to the parts store and back!! Life saver!! We are 64 yrs old, it's almost 90 degrees out, no way could we walk it!! Thanks and God bless you Spencer's Towing!! I need to add...this gentleman was amazing!! He told me the cost for this help and I agreed totally! Then when he brought my husband back from the parts store and my husband was going to pay him, he said...no, we're good, you've had a hard enough day!! Who does that?? This man is wonderful!! Highly recommend Spencer's. My husband was having some brake issues, called Spencer's to have it towed and looked at and it was all fixed in a matter of a few hours! Lost a wheel on my boat trailer, Larry picked it up and towed it 55 miles for a great price. I was extremely impressed with how gently he got the boat and trailer on his truck without dragging it at all. I would recommend Spencer's to anyone!
Great customer service. Quick. Polite. Very helpful. Knows the area well and has compassion for their customers, they understand this car trouble wasn't in your plan for the day. Get the correct Spencer's. It's a bit confusing if you aren't familiar with their name
I was driving home with some snow and got stuck on the side of the road with 4 kids in my car.. as I was waiting for news about a tow truck, one of Spencer’s Towing trucks drove by and stopped to help us out of the ditch!!! Larry was incredibly nice and professional, and would definitely recommend this towing service to anyone who is in need!!
Needed my car towed this morning to Bloughs Auto in Freeport. Had an electrical issue and car wouldn't start. When the wrecker came he was able to start it. Ended up not needing a tow and they didn't even charge me for the service call. Awesome service. Thank you
Very friendly. Quick to help. Great service. I have been there a couple of times now and have an appointment to be there in a couple of weeks for new tires. I plan on using them in the future and will recommend them to others.
They arrived quickly on the site of my car accident and loaded up fast. The only thing that keeps me from giving the 5th star is that I was not given any sense of where they were located, the cost of towing, etc. the driver was efficient but not really friendly which would be nice when you have just totaled your vehicle.
They picked up my Toyota from road side, trucked it to their shop and replaced a broken fan belt. Pick up was fast and the overall cost for pickup and belt replacement was very reasonable.
Came out immediately on a Saturday and helped us remove a buried piece of equipment. Extremely friendly and totally fair price. If you need this type of service I would highly recommend this company. Thank you for helping our family in an emergency!!!

When you need a vehicle towed in the Hastings area call Spencer's Towing. The staff here is amazing. I have used them many times weather I needed a tow or I locked my keys in my truck. They also do repairs.
Got stuck on a seasonal road about 2/8 of a mile from where the dirt road started back up.. They found us within 30 minutes and despite the all the muddy obstacles in our way got us out within about 30 minutes.. Affordable prices and awesome service!! Thanks again!!
