Got more than I expected, and the whole process - from filling out the online estimator to having my car towed away as I held my check - took less than three hours. To be fair, I lucked out that the pickup company had a truck very close by when the scheduler called them, I can't promise everyone will have it go quite that quickly. Dylan helped me get through the process and was very helpful. While I hope to not need to sell a car any time soon, I've already started recommending it to friends.
Very pleasant customer service. But Copart wrote me a faulty check. I have tried cashing a $300 check 3 times now with no luck. Very unsatisfied with the false advertising and false promises made.
This was my first time junking a car. Cash for cars made the process quick and simple. They also gave a great price for my vehicle. The driver of the wrecker that came called me to let me know they were on their way to my home to pick up the vehicle. It was very nice because I was at work and it gave me plenty of time to leave from work and drive home to meet them and take care of the transaction. The driver was also very nice and courteous and very professional. This is a great company If you need to get rid of or junk a car that’s no longer needed. I contacted cash for cars on Thursday January 18 on their website. I entered my vehicles vin number and my contact information and was immediately contacted by Mario. Mario gathered some additional information from me and was able to provide me with a quote to buy my car right away. The price they offered was fair and all they needed was an image of my vehicle title. I accepted their offer and the pickup was scheduled for the next day. The pickup company called to verify some details and schedule a convenient time for pickup. When they came to pickup the vehicle they took my keys , my title , and loaded the vehicle and hauled it away. They gave me a cashier’s check from Bank of America. The whole process was fast smooth and easy! I highly recommend them! Cara for cash is part of a large company called copart. I had been stressed about selling my car for some weeks before I contacted copart / cars for cash and they made the whole process so easy! Plus their offer was much better from some of the local companies I contacted.

I submitted my car's info online and was contacted immediately. Within one hour I had an offer for my car and pick up was arranged. Tow truck operator was prompt and courteous, transfer of title was seamless and I left with a check, they left with my car! I called and spoke with someone right away. He asked me questions about my car and proceeded to give me a quote immediately. Once I agreed to the terms, I was transferred to the towing company and scheduled a pickup the next day. The tow truck driver called back to confirm a few minutes later. The next day, I received a call from the tow truck driver who told me he was about 1 hour away. I received a check for the amount agreed upon and the car was towed away on a flatbed truck. The transaction cannot get easier than this.

Overall it was a good experience. They called me before I finished submitting my request and offered me a little above anyone else. Only negative is when they came to tow the car away, the tow driver didn't have any checks on him and was told it would be overnighted to me. I would have preferred that Copart called and told me this rather than finding out through the tow truck driver, as I then had to call Copart and verify that this was true and my car wasn't about to get stolen. I did end up getting a check and all was good, just did not go as smooth as I would have liked.

It took all of about 5 minutes to make a deal with cashforcars for our 03 Toyota Highlander. 18 hours later we had our check in hand and the car was gone. What a wonderful company! I actually got the same agent both times I spoke with them, and Haroon, that agent, was great.

Great experience overall! I was about to sell my car to the junkyard for $150. I figured I'd check Cash For Cars and they bought it from me for $1700! That's over ten times what I was expecting! They came and towed it away for free and everything!
The only drawback was the towing company didn't show up at all on the day they were supposed to, and they were late the next day. So be cautious when scheduling. But that isn't this company's fault, its an independent towing company they contract with.
They did eventually come to pick up my vehicle and did send a check, however, it was a very difficult process. The employees they hire are not knowledgeable enough about what they are doing. I was told I needed a new title, additional forms, etc. then called back the next day to confirm what I needed and got another staff member who said I was all set and didn’t need anything else. Then, they were supposed to come on a Friday, waited around for the four hour time window they gave me, and they never showed up and didn’t even call me to tell me the car was moved to being picked up on Monday.
