Bought a 2022 Ram roll back from Derek. Truck runs and drives great. Sent 2 guys out to Nala to pick it up and Derek was very helpful and fast through process. After I got the truck I ran it for a week before I realized the Ramsey Sierra winch was basically shot as the winch brake wasn’t holding. The replacement kit to go to a wormgear winch is ridiculously expensive.. I sent Derek a message. Honestly even chipping in 500 woulda helped but this guy literally mailed me a check and paid for the whole thing. I didn’t ask for that but he wanted to make it right. With the cost of the winch kit and the price I paid for the truck I can’t imagine he even made money on the deal. He stands behind his business and If I buy another truck I’ll be reaching out to him first. Thanks for the great truck.

After returning home with the truck, serious issues came up with the truck that took it off the road for high dollar repairs. Derek not only shipped the truck back to Massachusetts(on his dime), but also completely repaired the truck at a shop he felt comfortable with in Mass. I’ve been in the market for a personal truck that I can go to estimates, present well with to my clientele, and in turn, be able to take my family on a trip comfortably in a solid truck. I purchased a used vehicle from Nala Equipment in March. Derek was able to set me up with a local credit union. He made the purchase process very easy & seamless. After bringing the vehicle to a local shop in my area it was determined that the vehicle needed head gasket repair. After contacting Derek, he offered to replace the head gasket at no charge to me. I found NALA on FB Market Place while searching for a Jeep JK. I messaged and received an immediate automated response followed by a message from Derek [the owner] within 30 minutes. Over message, Derek and I established an instant rapport and I quickly knew I was working with a regular, friendly, honest guy who was sincere about his business. After a few messages back and forth, Derek and I spoke on the phone to arrange for a time to come see/drive the Jeep. There was no selling involved by Derek. In fact, when we arrived, he tossed the keys to me and my two sons and said to take it for a ride as he was running to a meeting. Some might take this as he was uninterested, but in fact, that is his trusting style and no pressure approach where he established an initial extension of trust. We drove the Jeep and left without seeing Derek again. “Just leave the keys in it and I’ll call you later. Have fun!” Derek reached out a couple hours later just to see how it went. Which, it went excellent. When it came to price negotiations, Derek was honest. No tricks up his sleeve. To my initial offer, Derek was a friendly, straight shooter and we were quickly able to come to a fair agreement. However there was a twist. We were $500 apart and he suggested we “flipped” on the difference. I’d never hear of this before but agreed! Before we took delivery, Derek took the Jeep in his shop where his mechanics ensured everything was tip top shape. We drove the Jeep one more time and realized the parking brake needed adjustment. Without hesitation, the mechanic was under the Jeep making the adjustment. BTW - the Jeep is for my son as his first car, which Derek knew. He shared his thoughts/concerns/considerations on buying a lifted Jeep for a new driver; as he is also a father of boys. He shared his perspective like I was a friend, not a customer. Never once was he concerned his advice could have cost him the sale. His priority was making sure I had all the best information to consider, rather than saying what ever it took to sell me the Jeep. I won the coin flip and Derek gracefully conceded the $500. I actually never saw the coin “heads up” as it was called in the air by my son. I guess I will never know if I actually won or if Derek gave me the win. Either way, meeting and having the pleasure of working with a Derek was a WIN. I also know if I have any issues with this Jeep, Derek will help. It was refreshing to meet someone as honest and good natured as Derek. He made the entire experience awesome. Totally awesome. 5 Stars isn’t enough to show my appreciation for Derek’s friendly approach. Work with him, he will restore your faith there are honest hard working people still in the world. His word is his bond. There are not too many people like him left out there. Especially in the world of used cars.

Derek is the man. I spent a lot of time looking and even made a few offers that weren't accepted (fortunately) before finding Derek at Nala. All of the maintenance I had to negotiate with other sellers Derek addressed up front regardless of the buyer. I felt comfortable that if I had an issue after the sale it would be handled quickly and easily. Less than a week after buying my truck an airbag light illuminated on the dash. I texted Derek and he, along with his expert team of dedicated mechanics, fixed it the same morning I raised the issue. Just a sticky seat position sensor, but the team at Nala made sure everything was good no matter what the size of the problem. These guys know what they are talking about and stand behind the vehicles they offer for sale 100%. It is nice to know that you can still find superb small businesses! From sports cars to pickups to heavy commercial equipment, Nala has the in-house expertise to deliver quality and value. A super clean and turn key vehicle is only a few clicks away. After searching for a while for the right truck, Nala Equipment had the right F350 for a very reasonable price. Upon test drive I did notice an issue with the 4x4 system, after bringing it up to Derek he acknowledge the issue and fixed it immediately! Very happy with the customer service, very happy with the truck. No hesitations when buying from Derek. When it comes time to upgrade, I will be back!

Found a truck online I wanted to look at. Talked to Derek and he made himself available on a weekend at our convenience to look at the truck. He showed us several trucks and made sure we test drove several to compare and make sure we were getting the right truck. After debating for a few days we wanted to take one more test drive so Derek made himself available (again at our convenience) while he went to dinner with the family to let us test drive it again. When we decided this was the truck we wanted to purchase the paperwork was super simple - Derek and his staff sent all the paperwork right over to avoid any delays. Derek and his crew took care of a few items and got the truck ready before a long weekend. Derek then picked me up at my house and went back to his shop to wrap up the paperwork. Nothing but great things to say about Derek and the trucks he has. If you have an issue reach out and he will take care of it for you! Definitely the best place around to start truck shopping!

I bought a 2003 dodge ram from NALA. It had a transmission issue right after I bought it, Derek, the owner took care of the problem quickly. Soon after that it had o2 sensor problems, he fixed that problem quickly also. I've put 7000 miles on the truck since then, it runs great, no problems. To make a long story short, Derek stands by his product and that is somewhat of a rarity today especially in the used car business, I recommend.
