I had a very good experience with these guys. Called and gave them year, make & model and was given a purchase price of $250 for a 1989 Toyota pickup that was junk. We scheduled a pick up day & time. On the day of pick up I received conformation they were on the way and they arrived on time. Title and cash were exchanged as originally agreed upon. Driver was polite and hard working. Told him he could drive on grass to get a better angle and he replied he'd rather not. Then spent a good 25 minutes maneuvering the tackle to get the truck on the flatbed. Glad this service exists and was grateful to just get rid of the vehicle.
I had a similar experience like other customers before me.
They offered me $300 for my car. They asked if it was complete. I said yes. As soon as they have my car up on their truck, they low ball me saying I have an aftermarket Catalytic Converter in which i did not have an aftermarket Catalytic Converter. It was OEM that was pulled from another car. He offered me $200 or he would drop it in the street if I didn't take the offer with a threatening tone of voice
I didn't care, just wanted it gone. But I would not recommend this company. Also The driver was an hour late.
Any company that shows up with a tow truck that has bald tires, and retread rear tires are obviously scummy and cheap.
I had them come to take my car. I had another junk yard tell me they could give me 375 so I called J and J to see if they would counter that and he said he could give $400 and pick it up. He comes to pick it up, puts it on the truck than offers $200 which was way less than expected. I told him that and he said he could give 200 right now or I could pay 120 to pay the guy who came with the tow. I do not recommend them. Go to E.T Cote Auto Exchange in LEOMINSTER. Much better business and way more professional.
I saw all of the great reviews and was hopeful that this would work out and was legit. We spoke to the company on the phone and based on all of our information they offered us $350. They stated that the car needed to have the catalytic converter. Our car does. We said yes it has it and he did not have any further questions. So we said $350 was great and they set it up to come today to get the car. After a few moments of the driver arriving at our house, they then dropped the price to $200. They stated that they "thought" that the catalytic converter was an aftermarket one. They did not state at any time on the phone that it needed to be factory nor did they say there would be a price difference. (We in fact do not know if its factory or not). We ended up saying no and they did not take the car. We are really disappointed and thought this would be an easy thing. If you're going to do business maybe you should be very specific and tell everything upfront. Thanks but no thanks
This shop is great! Found myself with some scrap I needed to get rid of. Called, left a message and they got back to me right away. We discussed my needs over the phone and I went in person with the scrap. These folks were friendly, easy to work with and everything went exactly as expected. I highly recommend J & J.

UPDATE November 2023- Owner has been giving me the run-around about picking up a third vehicle from me, stopped responding to me mid conversation and then changed the price he initially told me he would be giving me because the vehicle has an aftermarket catalytic converter. Which had been disclosed to him previously, but he told me he deleted all his texts with our prior conversations. Apparently this isn't out of the ordinary for him when I asked around to see who had used his services before.

they will lie saying vehicle has after market parts and not pay what they told you on the phone,. they falsify sales receipts and are deceptive business. Go with someone else. Later ran into previous owner of vehicle. Where I had mentioned scrapping it. Was then given proof by previous owner that cats were OEM. Business continues to lie has been reported and is being investigated by the state. I have been threatened bodily harmed by business owner as a result and police are also investigating them. They were insistent on picking up the car that day despite me wanting to think it over. I now see why they are scam, they lie and cheat. They will take advantage of you, especially if they know you are in a tough situation. Employees and owner are rude, disrespectful, and only care about making a quick buck.
Driver showed up with different amount of money than we were told. Then proceeded to try to leave with our vehicle anyway. The driver and owner of the company handled the situation terribly. As if it were our fault he had the wrong amount of money. It’s quite sad how unprofessional they were. If that’s not enough. We literally had to get the police involved to get our vehicle taken off the tow truck. Do not use this company.
Only issue we had was they want all factory parts no after market parts wasn’t made really clear…..other than that they guys where really good and fast will still recommend

I’m happy and annoyed. The guy did a good job taking my car away but he was so pushy for a tip like it was wired. I tipped only because he provided a service and understood hard work but at the same time he wanted to brag that he had too big of a bills to brake a $20? Lol So with that made me not want to tip him.

Great guys. Easy to deal with, very pleasant. Had to make a last minute change of date and time as well as location. They rolled with it very easily. They were able to accommodate my last minute change and they were fast, efficient and fair price. I won't say how much but it was over the $450 minimum they say and that was without having to haggle back and forth. I told them what I had, they told me what they would pay...and that was it. Done deal.

called them last week to come pick up an old 1999 jetta. they quoted me $250 which is more than anyone else quoted me. they came to pick it up today and it was one of the smoothest transactions I've ever taken part in. overall the driver was very professional and the offer was the best. I highly recommend this company for any junk car removal needs.
Took advantage of an elderly person. Was quoted a certain price to remove a junk truck. We set a schedule which he had to change. I couldn't be there for the new pickup time. He paid $50 less that what I was quoted!! This never would have happened had I been there. I would have told him to take a flying leap! POOR SERVICE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY! I wouldn't even give this a star but unfortunately I had to or it wouldn't accept my review.
