Had a terrible experience with Milford Auto. Agreed to terms for a sale of a car only to find out they next day they sold it to someone else without my knowledge. Poor customer service, poor business practice and totally dishonest. would not trust this business.

Even though I did not purchase the vehicle I was interested in, the dealership priced the vehicle fairly and represented its true condition. If another opportunity presents itself I would not hesitate to buy a vehicle from them

We drove from Long Island to look at a car.(3.5 hours) Car was exactly as described. Father and Son Business and very laid back with no sales pressure. Highly recommend them when shopping for a classic car.

I bought a 1963 Fairlane from Milford for a very fair price. The car is over all in great shape for the price they asked. I used New England auto appraisers for an inspection because I didn't have time to fly out to see the car. Anthony was excellent and did a very good with details and pictures in my report so I knew what I as getting. I would buy from Scott at Milford again. The key is to have it inspected and understand that these are old cars and are not gonna be (new car) perfect. If the buyer does his home work and knows what they are buying they'll have a good experience as I did. I feel like Scott and Scott Jr were fair and did what they said.

So they replied to my review and once again not very truthful. The $1000 they sent was to repair the incredibly dangerous brake system. They totally ignored the engine overheating which has cost $2800 for engine repair and $700 for radiator and $500 to repair the carburetor. They told me by text to stop texting them. They were contacted July 28 2021, August 4 2021, August 23 and October 13 and October 14 2021. They told me on October 14 2021 to stop texting. By my math my complaints were registered long before 883 days had pass.

Bad guys. Bought a "Needs Nothing" 1966 396 SS Chevelle from them in 2021. It's still on jack stands as I try to repair it. Brakes were incredibly dangerous. Car overheated after the first 9 miles I drove it. Had to call a wrecker on my first trip! Engine rebuild revealed heads were clogged with stop leak. Intake manifold cracked and leaked so that's probably why it was full of stop leak. Recently asked for them to share in the repair costs and of course they declined. Would not recommend.

Bought my dream car from Scott - 66 Corvette convertible. Finding a car in the condition that I wanted (driver quality, some problems I get to fix myself, but still looks awesome) is getting harder all the time. Scott had the car that was a perfect match for me. He was very honest about the condition of the car. He was very responsive and made the buying process simple. Called and talked to Scott regarding a $50000 Buick. I mentioned that I would like to get a thorough inspection done on the car and had lined up someone locally with a good reputation to do one. He knew of them and said that would be fine. Oddly, when I mentioned that they would do a compression/leakdown test required (to help check the internal health of the engine) he responded that nobody was going to pull spark plugs out of his car and abruptly hung up. Would he not allow a person to pull the wheels off to inspect the brakes? As anyone who knows cars would agree this would make you question the quality of the product. Forget about the poor customer service.

Purchasing our classic car from Milford Auto Sales was a pleasure. Scott was very professional, accurately represented the car in his ad, and exceeded our expectations for delivery.

Was very interested in purchasing an auto from Milford until I spoke with a sales rep. As unprofessional as they come. Didn’t identify himself or the company (Milford) When he picked up the phone. I told him we had exchanged email yesterday. He told me he gets 30 emails a day. Didn’t want to do business with a company who seemed very disinterested in doing business with me.

We called today to see if they were open and we didn't get answer, 2 seconds later they call back. I ask if they are open an I the gentleman who calledd said kind of and asked which vehicle we were ooking at. I said we just wanted to look around at a couple but could come after the holidays. At that point he just hung up on me. Further, we inquired about a vehicle on eBay and the email we got back was just a number, nothing else. Sad part is we have cash in hand and were ready to buy 1 of 3 cars listed. Avoid!

Follow up to Milford’s response to my original review. It is true that we have never spoken or met. However, you owned the car I bought and the copy of the title proves that. Milford decided to purchase this car site unseen and turn it over to another individual ( you call him a broker, I call him a salesmen) to sell. The check I wrote to purchase this car was made out to Milford Auto Sales which means Milford profited from the sale of this car. Milford apparently feels they can profit from a sale with no responsibility of what was put on the market. I don’t think so. We’ll let the readers of this review decide for themselves if Milford has good business practices.

Buyers beware. i think that these people are running internet scams. I was interested in a 65 Chevelle they are representing on internet. They want money to hold the car. When i told them i was going to fly out to see the car, the conversation immediately changed and the car had been sold. NEVER send money for a car without going to see it. These people are a great example of why you shouldn't!

I purchased a beautifully restored 70 Chevelle SS from Milford. However, hidden beneath the visual beauty was a laundry list of mechanical and electrical issues. The car was not even safe to drive as the lug nuts on one wheel were not snug. The wheel was free to wobble on the axle. Incorrect lug nuts were used which damaged the wheels. The transmission had significant leaks. Windshield wipers did not work. Bearings in differential and rear axle were shot. A/C compressor not wired correctly causing compressor to operate with controls in Vent position. Front end suspension and steering pivots were totally dry. Windshield wiper arm broken, needed replacement. Windshield leaking. Carburetor not correctly adjusted. I could continue listing the problems with this car but you can see the product that Milford sells. And their salesman Jim Brady, he’s as dishonest as they come. He told me exactly what I wanted to hear to make the sale. When it came time to deliver, all I got were excuses. I DO NOT recommend buying a car from this dealer.

Purchased 1930 model A. Vehicle was better then described. Sales people were easy to deal with and they followed through with all the paperwork. I would highly recommend this company.
