Place went to shit, not even a lot of cars that big and couldn't verify a stock number over the phone or look out the window at a visible line of specified vehicle make. The guy tended to another customer that walked in after me had me waiting for 10 minutes. Don't come here. Get your shine box
Definitely not the old owners charging oem prices for used parts sad….. Twice now quoted for parts that i can buy new on Amazon for cheaper whats the point?????
bought a motor from them in november, i pulled it apart like they told me to do and replace timing and water pump and every gasket. well when i pulled it apart the cylinder walls were destroyed. when i told him i pulled it apart to replace gaskets and timing he also said he wouldn't take it back because it was worked on. how else are you supposed to change a timing belt without disassembling engine. they're response to giving me my money back was we sold the shop after you bought the motor so it's a different owner and he doesn't want to validate your warrenty. this place is an absolute nightmare and a joke. never buy anything from them especially a motor.
Have gone here twice and had bad experiences both times, will never go again, only went the second time because it’s so close. First time charged way too much for a drive shaft and second time I went to go check the yard he said he wasn’t doing pull your own anymore because of insurance (well then update your site). Also just generally short and rude to customers, have seen him be rude to the customers on the phone and in line in front of me.

If you need a reliable "Point A to Point B" daily driver, check out Smith's!! They are good, honest folks. I've bought a bunch of cars here over the years and I've had nothing but wonderful experiences! I purchased one about 2 months ago and the transaction literally couldn't have been more seamless. The gentleman who helped us (I think he's the owner?) was very pleasant and professional. The car is running beautifully, just like every other vehicle I've purchased there.
You won't find better deals, especially nowadays. They're my go-to for an affordable car -- they've always been the place to go to get a good, solid vehicle at an absolute bargain. They perpetually have a great little assortment of 4-5 cars for sale, so keep your eyes on their FB listings & lot because cars (understandably) go quick.
BAD TO DEAL WITH NEVER TELLS YOU NO WARRANTY ON ELECTRICAL PART THAT DID NOT EVEN FIT & I'M A REPAIR SHOP THEY RATHER LOSE A CUSTOMER THEN WORK IT OUT THATS PER OWNER
Maybe I went to the wrong smith junkyard, because my experience was totally different from the other reviews. I was looking for a part for my Jeep Wrangler, so I went to smith and asked if they had any Jeep in the lot, the owner himself said that they had 10 Jeeps. They charged me $5 bucks to go in, I gave my credit card but he he asked for cash only, I didn’t have cash, so he pointed to the atm machine. I took the cash, gave it to him then he let me go check, I stayed there for 2 minutes because I forgot to tell him that I was looking for a Jeep Wrangler but he had none of those. I went back to him, let him know what happened, but he just ran away and started working on his bike. I know that is only $5 bucks but he (the owner) could handle this situation differently.
Smith's is a great place to get used parts for just about any car. They also have tons of great tires and even a few used cars for sale. The folks that work there know their stuff and can point you to the part you're looking for. They also buy junk cars. Whether you want to get rid of a car or find a part cheap, you should check out Smiths.
Can't complaint about the prices or anything, guy in the front was really cool and got me some help with moving parts without a hassle, keep up the good work guys. Parts were just as described on their website.
Do not buy any parts from this company we bought an engine from them we spent time installing turned out to be a junk we called many times for our refund engine was picked up he hast refund our money yet its been 4 months stay a way from this guy not worth the headache I will file a complained with attorney general
I picked up a transmission for a Toyota Highlander almost a month ago. Turned out to be a bad unit. Just went back and returned the trans. Was really impressed with how quick and smooth it was to return it. Was given a full refund in less than 5 mins. Highly recommend and will definitely return here to look for more used parts.
This place is just trash, do yourself a favor and go to sams pull apart in Worcester where there’s better customer service plus the great selection of cars which this place lacks.
Extremely rude - Horrible customer service from a male employee. Requested over the phone prices for a specific parts off a specific car. I was told they were available and then was called and told they had been sold. Man copped and attitude when I asked how they had been sold. I was told it’s because he did not write up the sale. It appears they are extremely disorganized. The woman on the phone Alison was extremely kind and helpful however.
If your minority this is not your best stop, really bad expire really disrespect full and the way the staff treat you, their humanity is poor and gross.... They are not willing to help first and last time stopping by! I dont recommend it.
Great money saving resource every time we've gone here. The owner & counter staff are friendly, pleasant people to do business with. Fair & knowledgeable. Wear boots and take some work gloves; there are loaner tools to borrow. Bringing your own tools might save you time.
We have had success on both foreign and domestic parts here. Some items are already pulled and shelved, they will send you out to meet someone at the warehouse to the left on the far side of the yard, past the tires. (I needed a light assembly for a S40 Volvo.) Other items we pulled ourself for a Jeep. Nice and convenient to have a local place to go to for parts.

This place is great. The people here are very knowledgeable and hospitable. I will never go back to Robertson's again. These people are honest I drive an hour each way to come out here and it's worth every second driving out here. If you need anything call Alison. She is the greatest. I have a very uncommon vehicle and they have what I need. If they don't have it, they will find it. Prices here are incredibly reasonable. You won't be disappointed. I bought a car here and fixed it, then drove it for 5 years before finally losing it to a flood. They were awesome, and took my junk car without a title rather than make me go get it. They also gave me a free extra battery with the car. If you know cars, this place is like a playground!
Im gonna give these guys a full 5 because of their prices, they had a box i could use tools and they hung around a bit late so i could finish up. This an old school pick and pull and my first choice for yards
Have to say, the place is a lot better then most places in Worcester! They have an old Standard Auto Employee who's a big help and friendly face, as well as a young girl up front who not only is very nice, but knows what shes talking about. The yard has all kinds of vehicles makes and models and even though can be crowded, they will put the car you need up on barriers for easy access. Although it sucks having to look through a giant rack for tires because they are self serve, the tires are priced very reasonable. I def. would recommend checking this yard out if your still into the old days of picking your own parts!
