Boston Auto Werks is a very honest and reliable mechanic based out of Winthrop Mass.. I came to them recently with an issue for both my car and my mother's vehicle, unfortunately they can't do a whole lot for transmission issues at their location, but the recommended another shop who they've worked with before. Additionally, when I brought my mother's car, even though they had a scheduled day they took some time right after lunch to assess the damage on her vehicle. At the end of the day, if you're someone that doesn't know cars very well and is looking for someone reliable that you can trust in their knowledge to get the job done, these are the guys to do it.
Another mechanic in town did not listen to me when I told him my caliper was stuck after he installed all four brakes. Long story short my brakes eventually went to the floor due to a faulty caliper. I was referred to Paul as I was obviously never going to that mechanic again and I’ve been having him fix my cars for over 5 years. I’ve never had an issue like the one I’ve described with Paul. Paul listens diagnoses and doesn’t try to sell me work I know the car doesn’t need. I highly recommend Boston Auto Werks
Visited the shop yesterday for the 1st time from a recommendation out of immediate necessity. Owner was a nice young man & his mechanic was honest. He did a good job. I will be going to them from now on whenever I have car issues. I was looking for a shop since I moved back to the area and looks like I found one. They were a big help even when they were just about to close. I am not looking forward to car issues, but if I have them, I know where to go.
Paul and his team always do a great job. I have been a client of theirs now for multiple years and can always rely on them to take good care of my car.
