I Have A Suzuki OB. For the last 3 years it would shut down after 25-30 minutes of running. The mechanic I used to bring the boat to would fix it and explain what was wrong. It would shut down 25-30 minutes from the dock again. I finally brought it to Ravosa Marine and explained to Chris what kept happening. He fixed it just as the other mechanic did. The only difference is that he sea tested it for 30 minutes like I explained and he had the same issue...Ravosa marine investigated the motor extensively for weeks. They discovered the actual issue and fixed it FINALLY..I had the first full boat trip in 3 years..Thank you Chris and Ravosa Marine. I will not be bringing my boat anywhere else from now on.

Stopped by to check out a 32 Everglades they had listed, great people. They took all the time needed to show me the boat and really made me feel like a good customer. Ravosa Marine Services did a FANTASTIC job repowering my 23 Seacraft with a new Yamaha F300. Best service around, Ive used other dealers in the past and haven't been close to as good in service. Worth the drive if you live on the south or north shore.
Someone in this company is a scammer. They returned OLD parts and called them warranty. I am out $350. No worries though, I will never let them take advantage of me again.

Chris and team helped out with a boat service that was needed. Some general repairs and tune up. He got us in quickly, and the interaction was great and friendly. The boat is in tip top shape for this season. Totally recommend!
Chris was terrific. Showed up on time, diagnosed a perplexing issue with our Suzuki motor that had challenged several other mechanics in about 20 minutes, and was able to fit us in quickly. He was also incredibly diligent about tracking down and sourcing parts as quickly as possible dealing with the challenging COVID environment, in time for us to salvage the last couple of weeks of the season. Communicated fully by email and text, making it easy for me. Highly recommend him.

Chris has been our mechanic for about a year now and I couldn't speak more highly of him. He's knowledgeable, fair, and responsive. He first performed our winterization for our 225 yamaha and was very reasonably priced and never pushed anything we did not need. This year we've had some high temp issues and he was always determined to get us on the water as soon as he could. He is honest and great to work with. No need to every find another mechanic!

So we purchased a Boston Whaler late last year and decided to not put the boat in the water because we would have only 2 weeks.. We hired a outboard shop to winterize and service the boat. I asked the tech if he could quote a price to install Lenco electric trim tabs.. The quote was 1,800.00.. I contacted Chris through a google search and asked for a quote that was the exact same as the other company and his quote was near half of the previous quote. I exchanged emails with Chris for the better part of 2 months and never had to wait for a response!!! Being a business man i know how important it is to be responsive.. That caught my attention.. We picked a time to meet at our marina.. There were some issues with the other company because they removed my batteries. They were not sure if they could install the batteries in time for my appointment with Chris. Chris's response was we can install the batteries or he could bring one with him. To me a great response! Chris showed up and went right to work.. I could tell right away how professional and attention to detail he was.. Above and Beyond comes to mind. Chris came to winterize my boat and we realized that there was a bigger issue. Chris quickly figured out what we needed to do in order to save the engine and was able to do everything we originally planned and much more. Very easy to speak to and on time. After years of having awful experiences with marinas and mechanics in general I am so glad to have found Chris. Cant wait for the spring to get him back to work on the boat.
Chris did a great job tuning up our ~25 year old Honda motor. There was a noticeable improvement in performance afterward. He was also helpful troubleshooting other issues with our boat and generally giving advice.

I was looking for a mobile marine mechanic online and by luck came across Ravosa Marine Service's website. From the minute I first spoke to Chris about my engine problems he was very responsive and eager to solve the issues. He really knows his boats and engines! He also works fast and is interested in a successful outcome. He answers texts, is punctual, explains everything and is very knowledgeable and passionate about boats. He was also willing to travel (I'm in Cohasset, MA) and though they aren't local, his excellent service made it seem like he was just down the road. I cannot recommend Chris and his team enough.
