The receptionist was not friendly at all. She gave me an attitude for asking her a simple question. Lady you really need to work on your customer service skills. My son was in an accident and the last thing I need was your attitude. Due me a favor and retire or find a new profession. Not at all happy with the care I received from her.
I got stuck in a pump truck driving on a "dike." The miracle of not rolling off was of the Lord but getting it unstuck was 2 heavy duty recovery specialists that took care of me and went right to work as soon as they showed up. They had a lot of problem solving to do because I had 1 tow pin on my truck. Great job guys and thank you.
thanks to Murphy's for being so professional with our tow and extending such exceptional service assisting us after our accident. they provided my daugher who was traveling alone with safe transport well after 'normal hours" until i could arrive.
they also stayed open well after closing to allow me to collect my personal items from the car. They made this seem like no big deal which just speaks volume about thier character.
USE ANYONE ELSE - These people specialize in extortion. The women in the office are extremely rude and unprofessional and obviously are miserable in their own lives. They are overpriced and pretend they are well versed in the legalities of what’s happening, but they’re just looking for reasons to try to charge more money. They don’t know anything about the law. They don’t deserve the money or business. Go elsewhere!
I wish I didn’t even have to give this place one start because it was the worst experience I have ever had. My car got towed to their shop and these people are simply terrible. The older lady who works in the office is so unbelievably rude, she gave me a dirty look and asked “who are you” not even a hello. I was disgusted and will NEVER recommend this place to anyone!!!!!!!!!!
I cant say enough about this company. They have been a true blessing. The owner went above and beyond for me. Got into a car accident with my sons car and the whole staff was friendly and even had a good laugh just when i needed it. They have a good heart and is absolutely affordable. Thank you again!
Murphy's Auto Salvage Inc. Last Wednesday night I was stuck on the side of the road on route 6 after I got out of work and they came out even tho I did not have the money to pay them because of my son's first birthday party because of you my son had a great birthday THANK YOU MUCH
The Murphy’s were so helpful! They picked me up in Wareham and brought me and my car to Hyannis dealership. Mike was a terrific companion for an annoying breakdown. When we got Hyannis - he offered to drop me home in Mashpee. So kind and efficient.
I had just wrecked my car after drinking and driving they thankfully helped keep me detained till the police arrived so I could be rightfully punished. Such a law-abiding company that never takes advantage of people mis fortune. Swell drivers.
Murphy's towing: absolutely horrible,nasty women working in the office! Older gentlemen nice & helpful. The women, one being an owner are spiteful, aggressive, and certainly evading taxes. They are a "cash only" business. Act like they know legal tactics so they can charge you more. They are unaware of actual Massachusetts laws. Boasts that her son is a Wareham police officer and will come and straighten people out. The presentation comes across as; Hillbilly scamming people for money. They make up their rules as the conversation progresses. Sad that they have a towing contract with any Massachusetts town.
Don't trust these folks. They are mercenaries. They will charge you for saying hello. I could not have had a more demeaning experience. Was standing in for my brother, who was in the emergency room with a health crisis. They would not allow me access to the car because I did not have "power of attorney." They would not let us drive the car away because it was not registered. They would not put a pause on the $35 a day charge until my brother was released from the hospital. They held us hostage for three weeks. I finally got them to agree to let us have the car towed to a family home. They then charged a $90 "gate fee" to open the gate for the tow truck -- on top of the nearly $2,000 that had been accrued on a daily basis. When I went to settle the bill to salvage the car and get away from these thieves, they told me that there would be a 5% "surcharge" for using a credit card. When I balked, the owner told me to "pay cash like everyone else does." Two problems: 1) the bill was more than $2,000, and 2) I live in Philadelphia. Do not do business with these folks. Not one ounce of compassion. They will respond by saying I "didn't follow the rules." Mercenaries. If I could offer zero stars, that would be my rating.
Murphy's Auto Salvage is the best ! Mike and his son Adam and their team are all definitely professionals at what they do ! That's great guys always help me out any time that I need them day or night when ever they get a spare moment because they are always straight out very busy but no matter what these guys always seem to fit me in and I appreciate it very much so thank you guys I will always use your services when I need them !
We waited 90 minutes on the side of a highway, that had no breakdown lane for a tow.
Finally the driver showed up and right off the bat started rudely complaining. He said the vehicle was on lifts and he wasn’t going to tow it. He also said the truck was a hazard being on the highway. I said that I know we are not the only vehicle that has broken down on the highway. He was the most miserable and rudest person that I have ever met in my life. I had never felt so disrespected by somebody. He said he could tow at his discretion and he refused to tow. I called Murphy’s Towing to complain about this particular driver and apparently nothing was done because we had to find other means of getting the truck off the road.
DO NOT USE MURPHYS TOWING.

My experience was awful. A nice state trooper told me the towing guys would take me to the next exit, and drop me and my medium size dog off at a plaza. They were rude, grouchy, didn't care if I was ok after totaling the car, and they said NO dogs in their grimy trucks. The cop took me. He said they always have problems with them!! NOT NICE PEOPLE.
Who leaves a woman 6 months pregnant stranded on the side of the road waiting on a tow for 3 hours and lies to AAA stating they saw the vehicle but owner was not there??? LIES!!!! The vehicle was never left you just never showed up!!!! NEVER TRUST THIS COMPANY EVER!!!
Great service and always quick to diagnose and fix whatever I've broken on my car. Office manager is kind and helpful and the employees are always helpful to explain to me just what need to be done.
Giving them one star is outrages considering I have never delt with such scumbags in my life. I hit a deer and pulled over on the side of the highway early Sunday morning. When I called Sunday afternoon and asked to get my car they said 90 plus gas for the tow and 90 plus gas to tow it out $35 a day for storage, but were to busy for the day to get it to me. When I called the next day to get it they Tried to charge me $572 for it. Tried saying it took them 2 hours to get me out of the woods! They literally made up some crazy story to make me pay crazy money for something that never happened. After we got that handled Monday it was came to $342 and they were supposed to drop it off the next day. 5pm Tuesday came and it never came, they forgot. These scumbags take advantage of people. Tried to trick the wrong people this time!!
They charged $1,100 to tow my vehicle 4.5 miles. Then show the insurance process down and over charge for storage. There were fees to open the gate of $95. To get the vehicle out of storage. They completely take advantage of someone in an accident. DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL IT WILL COST YOU SO MUCH MONEY. Push your broken car if you have to .
