Let’s face it when we need a tow company we are typically not in the best emotional state. A&S Towing has helped me more than once. Professionalism, Courteous, Offers helpful advice. They perform a good business in a time of need.
Attentive service and very knowledgeable and helpful in guiding me with advice on how to deal with the insurance company. For instance, I only have 3k miles on my tires (my car is deemed totaled) and Chris advised me that I can submit the invoice for the new tires and he was right… My insurance company added that to the total value.
Got police towed here from someone totaling my car. The guys here are awesome and do look out for the consumer when it comes to insurance and knowing your rights when it comes to that. Very amazing advice and didn't even have to ask.
These gents provide a service, and it's very solid.
The tow driver was awesome. Everything else about this place is bogus. We have to drive 3 hours to sign a release form because apparently "modern" things like "email" have just passed these folks by. Seems like a racket they have set up with the state troopers if you read these reviews. Would not recommend unless you like having your time wasted.
Was in a car accident so the police had this garbage company take my car to their dump instead of a place of my choosing.
Now they won't even let me collect my stuff unless I pay almost $500 dollars to have it Towed someplace else (which is what I wanted in the first place) additionally they say they can come after ME if I leave the care there because it was a police towing. Again I didn't call them, nor did I ask them to take it there.
Called the owner to try and figure all this out but the D-bag hung up on me after complaining he was busy even though I heard his annoying kids running around in the background.
Terrible place and I wouldn't be surprised if some day they got what they deserved by a disgruntled victim...oh, I mean "customer"
This company was unfortunately contacted by Amazon yesterday to pick up their truck but they didn’t come until almost 24 hors later. It was pulled over in private parking in a private community!
The driver said he didn’t come because it was father’s!
As a female, going into a tow yard and dealing with staff, can be very intimidating. Kevin and his family are amazing. I had so many questions regarding my car that was brought there after an accident. The car didn’t start, they immediately jumped it. The doors wouldn’t unlock, they came right over and got the doors open. Their approach to professionalism, care for their customers, and the standards they hold themselves to are obvious in the way they treat each customer. I’m so thankful for their help in a very tough situation. Thank You, Guys! God bless you!
My daughter was in a horrible car accident and the totaled car was towed here. The staff was so helpful, understanding and knowledgeable about the process.

Car accidents are never easy. I didn't request A & S tow my car after it was hit but I would in the future. They were always courteous and allowed me to get into my totalled car twice (even offered a third look over when I released the car to my insurance company). They were always patient and thoroughly explained the entire process.
THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS. I was in an accident and the state police towed my car and sent it to this location. The owner tried to convince me to keep my vehicle in their lot when I declined they refused to release the vehicle and refused to allow me to pay with debit card even though it is Massachusetts state law to allow payment to be done by money order, cash or debit card. It was not until the police arrived did they cooperate. They profit off of peoples hardships, these people are disgusting and if you don’t want added stress I suggest to invest in triple A.
I pulled into A&S Towing this morning around 9:20 am because my rental car had low tire pressure in the front right tire. The gentleman that helped me was very nice, understanding and not condescending at all. He allowed me to explain my issue and he gave me info that was helpful. He added air to my tire and made sure that my lug nuts were tight because there was also some shaking in the front end. Unfortunately I didn’t catch his name but he was FANTASTIC!! I highly recommend using A&S Towing for your towing needs! I appreciate the help that I received this morning!
Was in an accident in my friend's car, 4 passengers all together. The local police and the tow Co. dropped us off and left us outside in the pouring rain in winter, cop said they have a lobby. Ya maybe during business hours. So rude and inconsiderate to leave customers in the element adding to the trauma. Had to figure out transportation while catching a cold in the rain getting soaked.
Thank you to the guys at A&S towing . They were able to help me save $7,000 . After my accident , the damages to my car were Morland severe than I had thought. The guys at A&S towing and advised me that the car might be a total loss and that the insurance company would give offer me a low settlement offer they advised me to not release the car to the insurance company until I get it the correct retail value of the car. Thank you guys for that information helped me out a lot
TOTALLY INCOMPETENT!!!I needed to be towed from a highway offramp to the garage who was willing to repair my vehicle on short notice.I gave the driver the correct address for my destination and he towed my car to the wrong address and billed me $240 for a 6 mile tow. When I called to report the discrepancy, the answer I got was I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do.
Courteous prompt transportation of my husband and I and our car after rear-ended on I - 93. Police called A & S, as officer didn't feel car was safe to drive. Stored our car until body shop was ready for it.
I was in a bad accident. The State Police called A&S Towing to take my wrecked truck. The gentlemen were all outstanding! They were polite, they were secure, and professional! The insurance company was pressuring me to sign the release of my vehicle. My truck had been inspected by the adjuster (totaled), but the insurance company was unwilling to give me a tabulation as to what the pay-off was. These guys advised me to wait to sign until I was given a satisfactory response. While the insurance company didn't like it, they had nothing to stand on. That was poor customer service, but these guys had my back and didn't want to see me get screwed by the insurancecompany. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS FOR TOWING!
Huge shoutout to this amazing towing company. When my company truck stalled out and over heated on the highway I called them and told them I am 20 weeks pregnant and out in the sun on this 97 degree day and need a tow off the highway ASAP. they were here to save me within 15 mins!! Thank you so much for keeping me safe and towing my truck.
They lied to me about releasing my car to my insurance to get more money, then when I went to pick up the car I didn’t check the paperwork they asked for and no one was wearing masks. They did not apologize at all. They’re a bunch of unprofessional bums with zero consideration for other human beings.
I was hit on 128 the State Police called A&S towing. They were GREAT to work with. I see some people have given them a bad review! Well all I can say is that they were kind and very considerate to me in a time I needed them.

Can’t believe the Commonwealth of Massachusetts would allow or select such a low class bunch of characters to be responsible for state police ordered tows. I was a professional driver for over 20 years and in my years driving up and down the east coast never encountered a bunch of rude, unprofessional people that are supposed to me helping the public during what most likely is a bad time. It took them 10 minutes to acknowledge that they had my car there after fumbling through papers and drawers even though I had just gotten towed there 5 hours prior due to a medical problem. And to top of the piss poor service they’re a “cash only” operation. I’ve been to yard sales and flea markets with credit/debit card machines, but a road service company can’t???
This tow company is used by the MA State Police to get cars off the highways quickly. They do just that and, along the way to the tow lot will tell you a few things such as (1) don't move your car from our lot until the insurance company comes - FALSE. They just want you to keep it on their lot as long as possible to rack up fees and the insurance company doesn't really care (2) don't select the auto repair company recommended by your insurance carrier - partly TRUE. Making a quick decision on who should repair your car isn't the best but many repair places both have great reviews and are recommended by insurance companies.
Finally, getting your car off their lot is a PAIN! They don't do email or fax so you must go in person to fill out a tiny slip of paper to get your car released.
Once your car is in your lot they are not really interested in helping you in any way.
Being as my personal vehicle had caught fire on route 128 in Woburn, I didn't have much option as to who towed it. But my tow truck driver was a nice kid, and the employees in my interactions here were polite.
It was otherwise fairly simple for the paper work to release my vehicle to my insurer.
Of side note (not important to the company or their services), I was further amused to where their location was. Their business is located in a former Armstrong Ambulance Service base. The call sign for the base was 'Fox.' How do I know? I worked there many moons ago and had worked there. So it was a trip down memory lane visiting this location. It had been well over a decade since the last time I was there. I remembered exactly where the bunk rooms were, the restroom, the terrible shower with luke warm water. Ah, memories!
Had the misfortune to need the services of this company. While on vacation we were hit by a tractor trailor truck. The State Troopers called this company. The young gentleman who picked us up and towed our vehicle was very considerate and caring during this rough time. He dropped us at a hotel where we later met our rental car company. The gentleman who mans this companies office was far from someone who should be i customer service! We inconvenienced his life by having an accident. He was unable to tell us what we would need to do to get items from our car because we did not call first. Apparently he was unable to communicate, in person, as to what insurance information he needed. So if you have the experience of an accident while away from your home state and while on vacation - DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!
Horrible. The guy was extremely disrespectful and rude. He was just being mean to us for no reason, and charge me $341 for less than 10 miles. I still think that’s not right but I just wanted to get out of there. I really had a bad day and a terrible experience.
During last Thursday snow storm my car died in 93 had AAA coming to get me A&S driver was very rude . Told him my car keeps dieing his comment Not my problem. Puts my car back on 93 and said its my problem to get a tow home. People like me put his life in danger. He put me in danger . Never let them help or touch your vehicle if u value your life.
