My daughters old beater broke down in Melrose so I called Howe's to get it towed to our house in Wakefield. The guy that answered the phone said they could get someone to us, asked our location and where I want the car towed to...all seemed well. He asked the cars year, make, model...I told him a 2003 BMW...then abruptly said "theres no one here that can help you" and hung up.
Wow.
I needed a cash tow, and Howe's delivered. Easy to work with. Professional. Had no issues communicating. Other tow companies won't even give you the time of day. Recommended.
They seem to have reasonable rates. The driver was there within 20 minutes of me calling, which seemed pretty prompt considering where I was located from where they are. The driver took my car away and dropped it off at the mechanic for me. He was even thoughtful enough to make sure that I had everything I needed out of my car before leaving.
This place is fantastic, they have an employee named Vincent who does not shy away from a little work and has the compassion to know when someone calls and needs their help. Thats how all these tow places should be. That when you call them you get the feeling like someone cares and is going to help you at whatever cost.
Called for a tow and the driver they sent was arrogant and rude. The messages he left on my phone would make anyone cringe. I will not use this company again nor will i recommend them. In the age of customer service this driver need the beginner course. Horrible
Without a doubt the nicest, most helpful, patient group of guys around. Had to use them for a jump start on a Saturday night. With 20 minutes of calling AAA, Howe's arrived. Week later needed them for an accident. So responsive, patient and pleasent to deal with in a really stressful situation. Can't recommend, or thank them, enough.
Called for help with a lockout. They were the closest tow service and arrived within a half-hour. Fast, friendly and efficient service. The "1" ratings may be fake reviews, as they bear absolutely no resemblance to the professional, positive attitude of the tech who helped me that day. They are an AAA contractor, as well.
I don't give it one star I give them -5
They wanna tell me they never came down before at 3am to release my car. They did ! Now they wana make me wait till 9 am and charge us $125. He was rude , disgusting and I know he don't have a girlfriend . No girl could be that dumb it was nasty the way he spoke to me. I feel bad for that lonely miserable Creep. Real professional let me tell you
