Not only did I finally found a reliable car that my daughter wanted and love, I found a family friendly environment at John's Auto Sales. John the owner welcomed me like family and made sure that if anything was to happen to the vehicle to not hesitate to give him a call. Joe showed us the car and drove around made sure everything was ready to go before taking it home. He made sure the car was up the lift and checked and fix whatever it needed. Got new tires, brakes done, and checked all around to make sure the car was safe. As much as I rushed to take the car home he insisted on leaving it there for them to do what's needed for our safety. And got the car the next day. I felt at ease and well taken care of with the process. And Eric was very helpful and on point with the finance part and got every documents needed right away and made sure we had the communications there for any concerns. He reached out to check on the car and also assure me to call for any reasons. I got a good deal on their car, without a hassle or any problem. One day process with them. (And I've been searching around for months). They have variety of great cars with affordable price you won't want to miss out on. Overall these guys were awesome and very caring. I drove over 250 miles to purchase a vehicle from John’s Auto Sales. They did not disappoint, totally worth the drive. Gave me the highest trade in my vehicle, which sounds like a game to get you in the door. No, John stood by his offer, which is outstanding and unheard in this business. The vehicle I purchased was in the exact condition as described, which was huge relief giving I drove over 250 miles and stayed overnight in a nearby hotel. Eric Perry was outstanding with the paperwork, he knows what he’s doing and was very transparent during the paperwork process. I had an out of state credit union check, which would probably cause concerns for someone unfamiliar with checks from out of state banks, nope Eric was on his A game. He’s been in the business 20 plus years and sounds like he can get just about anyone approved for a loan, even with less than an ideal credit score. If you are local to the Boston area and looking for a good deal on a used car, I don’t know why you would go anywhere else than John’s Auto Sales, been in business for 50 years, another unheard of thing now a days. I’d drive back tomorrow to purchase another vehicle from John’s Auto Sales.

John's is the best place to go when you want a used car. When my first car broke down, they helped me pick a new one that is reliable and affordable. Shout-out to Rocco and Kevin, who definitely supported me to ensure that I am comfortable with the things I need, like monthly payments and insurance, for my new car. Another huge shout-out to my Dad who recommended me this spot and when he got his car, he was glad about the financing and the benefits. I wanted to wait at least a year before writing a review, just hit the year mark in July. Customer service wise this place is good, they were friendly fast and helpful. Fast fwd a year later my transmission fails on a Toyota Rav 4, with less than 90k miles. I kept up with the maintenance so all fluid levels were fine. IDk seems a bit odd.
We got an offer from Kelley Bluebook and John’s Auto immediately called saying that they saw the Kelley Bluebook offer and it was way too low so to come in person and they will give a better offer. We did that and it seemed like the person we talked to was more of a lead generator to get us in the store and they had no intention of paying more than Kelley Bluebook. They actually wanted to pay less. Such a waste of a hour.
Be very careful of buying a car from here. They will fix it up enough that you can’t see or feel any problems then a year later the car goes to crap because they hid major issues. We extensively checked under the car the engine and test drove and everything. My uncle is a mechanic and went with us to purchase a car. They also overprice used cars a lot. Very nice people but shady sales. Edit: Added a photo of sale because on multiple other negative reviews their cop out is simply to say they have no record of a sale. Nothing to do about it now, just trying to warn others. Probably a good place to sell a vehicle just not to buy they will buy and sell anything.
I walked in worried and not thinking I would get approved or for my trade in as well, but I walked out happy the next day with a new car. Kevin and Rocco all great and very informal with all the information I needed and the whole process was the best, also the other staff so nice and everything! I would recommend anyone to come here to look for a car to purchase and leave happy
I sold my car a few weeks ago. Paul and John were both nice and honest. The selling process was smooth, and the car was sold at a fair value. When I was leaving, Paul even reminded me to check if I had taken all my belongings, including the E-ZPass attached to the window. Small gestures like that really show what kind of people they are. I highly recommend buying or selling a car through them in the future.
I came to sell my car here. Worked with Paul while John was around as well. We agreed on a price that beat the best offer I got from a dealership. I didn't disclose that I had an offer, and I didn't want to drive to another place and see if I could get a better offer, so we made the deal here. As I was walking off the lot, John came out to ask if I needed a ride, I live a bit far, so he couldn't send a guy to drop me off, but he still offered to call me a Uber. I didn't take the offer, but just for his kind gesture, I don't care if I could have gotten a better offer if I showed my car to more places. Paul and John both seemed like genuinely nice people. The deal was done and I was walking off, they didn't have to go above and beyond for customer service.

What I loved most was the whole staffing from the gentlemen who greets you at door, the gentleman who get you keys and plates to drive the vehicle, to the mechanic and even those workers not even working on your stuff, just making eye contact and saying hello. WOW!!! That just shows leadership throughout. Great friendly crew! I recommend these gentleman and John’s if buying your vehicle. Very impressed!!!
I had several issues with vehicle but through it all, the mechanic Chooch, and Owner John, have helped me through each issue with grace and integrity. John (owner) is a stand up man, and does all in his power to meet customers needs! Thank you John for your honorable service!!!
The vehicle on the other hand. Please do your due diligence. If they say ok to bring your mechanic (but really folks who has a mechanic to bring along with them, pay them to inspect the vehicle on the spot). Something’s can’t just lift the hood and boom you see the issue. Mine cost me $2300. Things that should have been done if a normal dealership was selling it.
Also ask for carfax report. Read it. I should have, since I found out on a trade attempt (my car would be given straight to an auction) (no value). “Structural damage”. Anyways, be thorough and wise.
