Be aware. They do not tell you if the airbags are deployed in most of their cars. they take pictures in the angle so you don’t see the damage. online I look at the pictures. When they bring it to my dealership . The damages are way more than shown in the pictures. And they don't take a picture of the engine bay where the accident damage is. Look in the picture that mustang is hit on the right side but they only showing the left side of this engine not the side where its hit. All there cars r like this. And this week most picture are taken in dark.

This place is horrible.. full of crooks. We called to let them know we were coming up to retrieve our things before the car got sold. They said okay, no problem we just can’t remove anything that’s hardwired from the car like the dash cam we had. Fine no problem. We drive up the next day and notice that someone from here removed our dash cam from the car.. both front and back. The wires were still attached to the car but the camera was missing. We really needed just the CHIP in the camera (which is easily removable from the side cam) to prove our crash was not our fault and now we have nothing because they stole our camera. Not to mention, we live 2 hours away and that was the sole reason we came up here. Will bring this up to our insurance company in hopes something can be done.

Very disappointed and not doing business with this place any more . I bought a car online and I was surprised it’s not the same condition as I a bought it . It has more damages than it was showing online . It seems it got hit while it was there after the auction. My friend experienced the same problem in his car few weeks ago in same location . I tried to call the manger and explained to hear but she wasn’t helpful at all .

A tow driver for IAA (Insurance Auto Auctions) who towed my car following an accident stole my bass guitar as well as a small guitar Amp from the car while he was towing it. Both were in the vehicle when he picked it up and both were gone when he dropped it off at the branch in Shirley MA. I have spoken to the manager of the branch who refuses to do anything other than insist "well you can't prove it". I have reached out to their corporate office to try and be connected to someone above the branch manager, and they just keep hanging up on me. Do not let these people touch your belongings, if you have Progressive as your insurance, they will insist that this is the tow company they use, so if they make you use this company following an accident make sure you take pictures of everything inside the car or take it all out if you are able to, otherwise they will steal whatever catches their eye and tell you tough luck.

IAA advertised vehicles as Runs and Drives when infact there are bird nests and lots of leaves in air cleaners and intake pipes. Driving to pickup a long way only to find out all this and the vehicle listed as Runs and Drives is something that was towed after sitting for years under some tree or somewhere. How can these people do that? It's a big loss to private, public buyers. Then the managing dept is reluctant to do any returns or refunds when all their might could not even start the half sized engine ! Not at all a trustworthy business and it's people who sit there holding jobs to lie and defraud people. One day everyone pays for their wrongdoing ! Regardless of what you believe in or not believe in. Hard to find honest and God fearing Americans these days.

Auto auction that sells insurance wrecks to licensed dealers fairly quick service the only issue is that we purchased 2 cars that were supposed to be run and drive 1 wouldn't move (bad transmission) the other no oil pressure and didn't make it back to the shop all in all a very expensive day it will be a lot of work to recover from this trip and making sure that customers get a trouble free car is going to be tough in this deal

Was supposed to pick up my car through Carvio and no call no showed. After calling multiple times they ended up coming to get it. At least when I got through the person on the phone was nice.

Absolutely horrible service, manager unreasonable and I felt very disappointed ☹️. customer of iaa for over 13 years. Purchased a vehicle listed run and drive, vehicle does not even run motor was completely locked, auction explantation is pathetic

Bad business practices!Be aware! Whent there to pick up a RUN AND DRIVE vehicle but they didn't allow me to get the car and RUN AND DRIVE it because they are working with the guy next door, who helped me and the help cost 75$. Not sure how many people had to pay CASH for the "Help" to get the car and unload it less than 10yards away. Definitely this guy is paying something to someone iat this iaai location. But is wrong!

My car was scheduled to be picked up on Tuesday between 8-12p. I waited. No call no show. I called at 1230p to find out what was going on. I was told the driver is in route and she be calling soon. "2hrs later", I called again. Asking if he is coming or not cause I have to go to work shortly. The dispatcher calls the driver who then says he will be at my home around 4p. Dispatcher proceeds to tell me the drivers go to residential areas in the afternoon. WHAT!!! I have been waiting by appointment and the company does not uphold to it. I could have planned my day accordingly instead of waiting around all day. The dispatcher was very rude and unprofessional. They have NO consideration or empathy for the customers. I will never deal with this company again!

This location doesn’t allow anyone to enter with semi truck inside the property to pick up the vehicle or to drive it off. At the same time has an “independent towing” next door who charges $75 to tow the cars out for you. Someone must be making a lot of money off of this, what a rip off and an extortion! Manager Dan here is useless and ignorant..

My insurance sent my car to them after it was totaled. They were supposed to mail me my plates. I received an empty envelope, not even sealed. The basic thing you do when you mail out anything and they couldn’t even do that. I call them about it. The woman on the phone had so much attitude when it was clearly their fault. My plates have just been lost in the world and if someone used them to commit a crime I could be held liable. All I wanted was a letter from them stating that they mailed out the plates and due to their negligence the plates were lost. And they couldn’t even hold themselves accountable for that.

Giving 0 stars here. If you're looking for a company to haul away your junker, that you need to call to chase down every day of the week to be told they can't actually tell you when your car will be picked up and they can't get a hold of their tow guys...then this is the headache for you! "You're scheduled today!", I was told every day I called back to have the car never picked up or even given a call back. Don't waste your time.

I'm really shocked with the negative reviews. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! I unfortunately totaled my car and it was brought here after the accident. From the customer service reps to the men in the yard, everyone went above and beyond to make sure I grabbed everything I needed. I had to come back a second time to grab something from my trunk I forgot (receipts for my insurance) and it was a little tricky because the stock number was registered to another car but they still worked to resolve the issue so I could retrieve the rest of my belongings. All in all, this place is great! They even offered me coffee and donuts while I waited. Sooooo nice!!!

IAA was professional and VERY prompt. My car was picked up from the towing company the very next day. Then, when I forgot to pull my Mass. EZ Pass transponder off my windshield, IAA really showed their stuff. The car, which was totaled, went to their salvage yard. I called IAA and they were helpful as well as hopeful. One of their mechanics went into the yard and retrieved my transponder. Then someone in the office packaged it up and sent it to me. It arrived at our house in two days. Thank you, IAA!

The worst IAA ever. The staff are very rude and non professional. Do not go to this place, because they will mess something up or be very unprofessional. My company has 2 trucks that haul 5 and 6 cars. I had my drivers go there for about 4 years. Until todays day my company drivers were loading cars with no problems.(5-6 cars). Today, my driver came to pick up 6 cars from them. When he came there, they told him they don't load 6 car trailers and told him to leave. This driver came there last Thursday and loader his trailer without them saying anything. When I called them, Barbara picked up the phone and I asked her to connect me with the manager. She said that the manager is busy with a conference call. Also, she said that I cannot leave a voicemail to the manager about this issue. Very rude customer service and very unprofessional. I have been in this business for 12 years, and compared to other IAA this place is the worst.

My car was towed here after it was totaled. On the window was written "DONE", which apparently, to their employees means "Free for all"! So, even though I still legally owned the vehicle, when we went to gather belongings from our car, many personal belongings had been stolen! This included a sciatica seat cushion my husband would use to drive, an expensive metal dragon claw license plate frame that isn't for sale anywhere anymore, a bottle full of change for toll roads and small purchases ... things we could not remove after the accident because we live about 70 miles from where the car was totaled and had to find a way home ourselves without dragging a lot of items with us. So we left belongings in the car and returned later to retrieve them. Basically all that was left were things even we didn't want (napkins, paperwork).

Places outstanding I work 4 Palumbo Towing they get you in and out in the matter of seconds in this place the customer service is unbelievable if you're there in the morning because of the high velocity of cars that are being moved in and out you'll get your vehicles in time if you wait late in the day we'll hey should happens that's just the way it is excellent auction

First time going to that facility office staff was friendly and helpful ,yard guy directing trucks was great but the most disappointing part out the visit was one of the managers the person that everyone should look up to and not fear. His people skills where absolutely horrible, a manger should have some people skills. It mite have been an off day for the old guy.

If you come here to pick cars with big rig truck they'll ask U to leave this property. Lmao.

If you happen to buy a damage free car, you can pretty much guarantee it will be damaged by the time the forklift clowns bring it to you. And don't try and blame it on IAAI, they don't make any mistakes.

Customer service rep said they were going to mail me my sunglasses and license plate that I accidentally left in car. She said no problem and took my information and said they would be mailed out. Called 2 weeks later and was told they still had them and they would be mailed out. Called again after over a week and still nothing in the mail. I was told "There were no sunglasses found in the vehicle." That's convenient. Kick rocks.

Very polite and friendly staff. They can get you loaded and paid within the matter of minutes. You do not have to waste your time here getting what you want. Everyone here is very sweet and polite as well.

The manager need be fired. He is so arrogant n not willing to solve issues b4 him. The staffs make decisions one called Sonia i believe they F***** cos her say so stands. Bought a car was listed wrong and nobody was willing to help very disappointed by there professionalism buyers make up the money for there pay checks we don't deserve to be treated like thugs or irresponsible ppl. Hereby call on all buyers to boycott IAAI. Due to following reasons. Charges are high Reps disrespectful Managers not qualified Lets BOYCOTT IAAI BUYERS N ALL SEE IF THEY WON'T GET THERE PRIORITIES RIGHT. THANKS.

I dont know where to even begin. The level of incompetence and terrible service is beyon belief. My car was total loss based on damage cost but still drivable, so i would still use it to go to and from work up until the tow crew from here reach me to set up the pick up. When the tow truck guy calls me to let me know he is around i told him where to find me and to please call upon arrival and he said he would do that no problem. He never called, he just showed up and took the car plates on and everything. I called him back to ask why he didn't call upon arrival, i needed to take out my work rearview mirror parking pass out and remove the plates. He said sorry and that he was going to drive by my house the next day and leave the parking pass. He never did. After realizing that the tow truck driver didn't give a damn and would just lie i reached the insurance office. They reached the insurance auto auctions office on my behal to request them to send my work parking pass through mail. Today i finally got the letter, they send the wrong thing. They removed the town public parking pass from the windshield in which case if that was the correct pass how the hell can you reuse a windshield parking sticker, if that was the case i wouldn't requested it, it doesn't make any sense. I was very specific to the tow truck driver and to the insurance auction person in the office, i said it was a rear view mirror pass and described the color and the address shown in the parking pass. They clearly dont listen, they dont care to help people at all even when the mistake is on their end. They are beyond incompetent both the tow truck and the auctions office, they need to pay better attention and care a little. Normally I wouldn't make such a big deal out of this if my work parking pass was easily replaceable which is not the case.

I signed over my car and they picked up my car from the garage. Since I wasn't there when they picked it up they told me they would mail my check. Two weeks later I called to find out when my check would be mailed and they said it would be mailed the following Monday (the 14th). Today is the 23rd, still no check. Called then again only to find out it was mailed on 21st (at least that is what the woman on the line said). It's been a month and my car has already been sold at auction probably for much more than they paid me for it. I'm a very unhappy client.
