I finally got around to having my mattress and boxspring picked up. They had great communication and by chance they happened to have the ability to pick it up same day. The price was very reasonable and it was gone sooner than I imagined.
Really saved us! We were struggling trying to figure out how to get the box spring out of the apartment since the city does not do pickups in our area, and we don’t have storage space. All we had to do was leave the box spring outside & they came to get it during the scheduled pick up time!

I cannot recommend Mattress Pro Recycling enough. I tried calling several other companies before and they didn’t even pick up/reconnect with me when I asked about recycling my mattress. Lucas answered on the first ring and made it SO easy. It was one less thing I had to worry about for my move. I put it out on the sidewalk at 9am and he texted me at 9:10am saying it was already picked up. Cannot thank him enough.
I found this place after trying to schedule an appointment with the City of Boston for a mattress pickup and the available dates were too far in the future for when I needed the mattress to be picked up. However, I am glad I found them.
Cost: First of all, this is a paid service, it costs $125 USD for a mattress or box spring (at the time of writing this review). In my case, I had both a mattress and a box spring, so I paid $250 USD in total. I had my mattress and box spring for about 6 years, so this was a great price because how often are you disposing your mattress? It's worth it.
Scheduling: Website was easy to navigate. Schedule a pickup on the date of your choice and they confirm. That's it. The customer service was amazing! I had booked a date for pickup, but life happens, and I needed to rescheduled. I hate making phone calls, so I sent them an email and they literally replied to my email within 10 minutes and also texted my cell to confirm. Wonderful! They confirmed a new date at no extra charge and they were also so understanding and empathetic to my situation. There is an actual person on their customer service email/ phone line! Another plus!
Service and Pickup: They put their time frame at 2-7 PM for pickup. I dropped my mattress on the side of my building at around 8 am. They picked it up at 9:24 am (see photos) ! Way before their scheduled pick up time. Maybe it's because it's not the high rush of the moving season but I was pleasantly surprise how fast they came! They took a before-and-after photo of the pickup to confirm!
Conclusion: I would use them again when it is time to dispose of my mattress again. If you have the funds, and want to support small businesses, please consider them. Excellent customer service, fast pickup, and I don't have to deal with the City of Boston.
I called Lucas on Saturday to schedule a Sunday afternoon pickup. He was incredibly friendly on the phone and picked up my queen mattress & box spring on time! He also sent me a text message with photos verifying the pickup! I highly recommend Mattress Pro Recycling!
It's easy to schedule, Saturday morning I scheduled for Sunday pick-up, and when I called Lucas to confirm, he said he could pick up same day(Saturday)if I wanted, and he arrived within 20 minutes! So surprise everything was done so quick! Highly recommend!

I booked Mattress Pro Recycling to remove my mattress and two box springs I had. They were very communicative and checked in the day I had made my appointment for to let me know the time they would be around by. When there was a miscommunication resulting in them not picking up my mattress, I reached out right away (around 8:30pm) and the mattress was picked up within the hour. Very friendly service, would highly recommend!

My roommate left her Queen size mattress and I found out that before only one day left to return apartment keys. I called Mattress Pro Recycling for mattress recycling and I was super surprise that they would be willing to provide same day pick up with reasonable price (even it was almost 5pm). They arrived my apartment on time and very patient, friendly, and professional. I definitely will recommend this service to my friends who may need moving out in the future.
