I got into a bad car wreck and Jim came along very professional and helpful. The guy went the extra mile and took me to East Boston so I wouldn’t have to grab the vehicle from the yard. Guy is the absolute best. Outstanding service.
My car stopped working during rush hour on Mass ave. Police arived very fast and besides helping with the traffic (I cannot say thank you enough to these guys) they also called Stephens for towing my car. Altough having this type of issue is not the most pleasant one, I ended up being happy that I had a towing company coming in and taking my car to the repair shop. Both Jim and Leo were not only very profesional but they were very friendly and extremely carefull handling the car. I definetely recommend them for any work associated with their expertise.

Get this piece of crap off the road. Just about ripped the front of my truck off at exit 11 in Merrimack today. I am filing a formal complaint with the DOT AND State police.
Had a flat on 93N, was connected to Stephen’s Towing and it was Jim to the rescue! Outstanding service and couldn’t have had a better experience, honestly. Some hero’s wear capes but Jim definitely saved the day! 5 Stars!
We got a flat tire on 93n during rush hour and Mercedes sent Stephen’s towing. Jim from the towing company showed up within 35-40 mins from when we called, took care of everything and dropped us off at the dealership. Def a 5Star experience.

What was a nightmare scenario is now a minor DIY project repair this week.
Friendly reminder to everyone that you can submit a complaint form to the Massachusetts Oversight Division for unethical towing behavior. You can also dispute a debit charge with your bank. Make them work for it. If they play dirty, you play dirtier.
Everyone else was really nice but the lady not sure her name, at the front desk is really nasty, and rude. Seems miserable working her job. Talks to everyone in a rude way. The people who were infront of me in line were also all complaining about her. There were complaints all around about her. Maybe she was having a bad day but even the days before and over the phone she had a really bad attitude. Needs to get that in check. And She didn’t inform me ahead of time that my car would be at a different location. All around terrible customer service on her end. It was the location in Medford 60 union st. The lady at the front desk.
Locked my keys in the trunk and called these guys just to unlock the car so I could figure out how to get to the trunk from the inside since my seats don't fold. The truck driver was amazing and on top of unlocking the car he helped me retrieve my keys with quick problem solving skills. Thank you so much!!! Wish I knew his name but he was my hero today!! I would have been totally stranded without his help.
My car was towed, and I came in clearly upset and crying. Instead of offering even basic empathy, the man at the counter—condescending and completely lacking compassion—told me to “smile” and that I should’ve read the signs if I wanted to keep my money. He smugly called it an “expensive lesson,” as if he enjoyed the situation. It was one of the most dehumanizing, patronizing interactions I’ve ever had. If this is how he treats people in distress, I genuinely hope he never has to teach empathy to anyone else—because he clearly doesn't understand it himself. It was the bald short redhead.
Jim brightened a very tough situation by showing up with a great sense of humor and excellent professionalism. He was able to tow our vehicle seamlessly. We even hitched a ride with him and enjoyed the ride back in his very clean and fancy truck! Jim was very polite and charismatic ! Would recommend Stephen’s Automotive Transport!

I just picked up my car at the dealership and it broke down on 93 south. I was so bummed out. Called the state police for a tow. The most positive and amazing driver showed up quickly, Jim went above and beyond what I would ever imagine Jim made it happen!
Sitting on the edge 93 north in Somerville in a terrible locations. Triple aaa said that be 10 mins away with a tow. I was left stranded for more than two hours. Thank for my man Jim he was here in less than 10 minutes to save the day.

Jim was great. He showed up on time and said he’s always roll over ready, which is good to know. He drove professionally and safely maintaining a 10/2 grip on the wheel at all times. My vehicle was towed by the city and Stephens Automotive was the company that towed my car. Upon pickup there were some issues I noticed were not present before the car was towed. I gave them a call and spoke with Jamie, they did not hesitate to come pick up my vehicle and inspect the issue. There was a crack in my oil pan which they stated can happen while towing especially if you have a low sitting oil pan. Steven’s replaced the oil pan and o ring and kept it overnight to inspect for further leaks. They delivered it back to me and everything seems great! I really appreciate the quick response and turnaround time for this repair as well as the communication I received from the company. Thank you Stevens towing!!
$168 + gas for how far they tow you. That’s what my wife and I had to pay each to get our cars back after street sweeping. They had no less than 8 tow trucks in our area scooping every car in sight. I guess it’s obvious they partner with the police given they’re 20 ft behind police headquarters but it feels incredibly sketchy to have half our neighbourhood not be aware of street sweeping only to have a wave of police handing out tickets and Stephen’s right behind them ready to pick up the cars. Christmas came early for Stephen’s courtesy of the citizens of Medford.
I was stuck in a dicey spot last night in a classic car. Called Steve’s and they were there within 15 minutes. They hooked up my car with a lot of care and attention to detail and got it safely back to my house despite a tricky location on a narrow one way street. Jim came to help tow our car after a really bad pothole. He advised us on where to find the best service and because of his outstanding service, we were able to fix our tire even after hours! After that, he gave us amazing recommendations on where to continue our road trip. This man needs to be the next candidate for the presidency
Jim is the man. I’ve had to get my car towed multiple times throughout my life, but have never had the experience that Jim gave us. We drove up from New York and got a flat in Massachusetts. He went above and beyond to help us and because of him we were able to get back on the road the same night. Really really thankful for him. Wont forget him!
Jim was the most helpful guy I've ever met. He towed my car in the middle of the night when I was stuck. he went out of his way to save my husband's severed leg AND stitched it up brand new. from the car door and gave me CPR and saved my life. he also offered me 1 mil to help with the damage. Jim is the best tower man I've ever met. give this man a raise. and he's hot.
