Towed from Citizens Bank parking on 40 Union Square in Somerville after 7 pm. The company only accepts cash and exact amount which in my case was 182.05 so I had to find an automatic teller and a convenience store open at 8 to get change for the $2.05. On top of that you have to make an appt. It seems they want to make it extremely difficult to retrieve your car. At the appointment time of 9 the Uber arrived at a very dark road and when we spotted a tow truck entering a garage, the Uber driver tried to get the attention of the truck driver who completely ignored him. I had to get out of the uber to finally acertain I was at the correct place. Very scary to stay alone with the guy in such a deserted place with no good lighting or no signs guaranteeing this is a legitimate business.
This place is an absolute thieving illegal scam, they told me the earliest I could pick up my car was Monday morning because they towed my car on Saturday night and they were closed Sunday. I was texted that the price would be exactly $182.05 in cash with no further information. I spoke with who I presume to be Charlie 5 different times on the phone to figure out picking up my car and NOT ONCE was I informed that the price would be different from what I was originally told. After ubering to an atm to then uber to the tow lot, he informed me that I owed extra because they had my car over 24 hours, and that it was my fault that I didn't ask if the price had changed on the phone. THEY CHARGED ME MORE MONEY FOR HAVING MY CAR WHEN THEY WOULD NOT GIVE IT TO ME BEFORE MONDAY IN THE FIRST PLACE. I then had to uber back to the atm to come back and give this crook the extra money he decided I owed. I don't know how this man sleeps at night was genuinely the most infuriating situation and has to be illegal. When I called after to try and speak with a manager, all phone numbers lead back to him and he proceeded to lie and say that I could have gotten my car the night it was towed, when he originally confirmed both Saturday night and Monday when I tried to get my car that Monday was the earliest I could get it. This business should be sued and shut down and I will be looking into every possible avenue to ensure that happens.
I called them asking if they'd towed my car. They couldn't (or wouldn't) even look it up by plate number. Apparently I need the exact location it was towed from for them to check their list or query their database. Bizarre.
These guys stole my car out of the CVS parking lot while I was shopping in the store. Also damaged my vehicle during the tow. They won't respond to certified mail either, so you have to hire a process server to sue these people.
I’m a disabled veteran with a handicap placard and handicap plates, I picked up a prescription across the street used the bathroom and intended to fill the script at cvs in Medford. The incident exasperated my recent injury and he extorted a disabled veteran with handicap plates a placard and who was recently injured causing me to seek medical help after.
These people will treat you like straight up garbage. Towed my car over charged me and damaged my car on top of that. I live an hour away from this place and when I called the owner he laughed at my face after they put a big fat nail on my tire it’s raining and I have my kids in my car I can get a flat tire at any time inhumane disgusting people.
Rude, inhuman, makes money out of making people’s life worse and total rip off. Regardless of your situation/health condition the guy Charlie tows and talks as if he is speaks so inhumanely and rudely, as if we were second class humans. There are so many more decent people running towing sevices. Cannot believe such a human exists and makes a living like this
Will file a lawsuit against this company. It is total rip-off. Did not have listing prices so basically just charge whatever they want. (When you ask for price they ask you to call back in 15mins) We had dash cam in the car, clearly they towed the car around midnight but they still charge for that full day?? Also scratches on the back of our vehicle.
Terrific Service. Charlie the owner came out to tow my car on a Sunday. Now that is dedication when the owner comes out on a Sunday ! Their truck was immaculate inside and out and. Charlie arrived and transported my car to the repair facility.
This place is TERRIBLE. It's super shady and they try to rip you off. They are not forthcoming about details (I was there the other night at about 7pm to get my car but had no cash & could not use ATM so I said I'd have to get it the next day. The guy told me "the price is good until this time tomorrow"... turns out that was a lie because when trying to pick up my car at 6:30pm the next day they wanted to charge me more). ABSOLUTE DISGRACE of a place. It should be SHUT DOWN. It was nightmare trying to get my car back.
