I bring 275lbs of aluminum wheels today 10/6/2025 they quote me .65/lbs over the phone they write $151 on the paper and hand me $135 I should have gotten $180….. I HOPE THE OLD MAN CHOKES ON HIS DINNER
This place short changes you, try another junk yard like Allied recycling that's where I'll be going to get fair price, not like this place. Its in Walpole, worth the drive.
Rude staff. Called the phone number, the person who picked up the phone was very rude and when I asked to speak with the transportation department as we had to check something with them they answered no and hung up the phone. Unprofessional business practices

Arrogant and not accommodating. Prices are less than anywhere else. I would assume it’s the regulars who get the money. I’ve gotten hosed a few times and I’m done with it. They’re close to me but it’s worth the drive elsewhere.

I have been going to Framingham Savage for 8 yrs. They have made the difference in my Removal Co. Increasing my profits by over 60%. They treat you fair and that's all someone can ask for.
Just got screwed on copper wire, they pay about half the going rate but don't tell you until after you unload into their bins that you don't know the weight of and write out a scrap of paper, no weight reading, no receipt. Will not go back.
These guys are great. Polite, professional, helpful, fair, and honest. That's a rare combination in the scrap meatal business. It was my first visit with a terrific outcome. I feel very comfortable recommending Framingham Salvage. Good experience all around.
Super, I am NO shill. I've been going to FS for. 30. years. FS did the smartest thing possible, they hired young people who listen to you and aren't afraid to help. A nice new friendly batch of millennial-aged kids. Check it out out FS has changed.

I've worked with lots of recyclers and they were the best I've worked with, by far. They handled a project for me in Massachusetts, and I'm from Atlanta GA. Highly recommend them based on service alone.
Won't go back there... Big guy with tattoos is super arrogant and cursing.. not sure if he is an owner or just one of the people who are working there. Super busy street, hassle to get in and out. No prices listed.. No one tells the weight once weighted. Copper is weighted behind the scenes. No receipt, no explanation, most likely all transactions are under table since got paid cash with no receipt or invoice.... Customer service is non-existant everyone are unhappy and cursing....
I've been to several scrap yards, these guys are far and away the best. They are fair,honest and very knowledgable. I would highly recommend them. It is the only place I go and some other scrap yards are closer for me.
I have been going to Framingham Salvage For years. They have good prices and service. I would strongly recomend them to anyone . Sometimes it's a busy place but worth the wait!
These guys suck. major ripoff artists. dont bring steel or batteries here because they wont pay you after you dump it off and tell you to take it back if you want. they pay minimum 4 copper and lighten the weight on aluminum. I drive out to worcester now. much further but at least they pay
