My daughter and I both had to be pulled out, her a snowbank trying to avoid a collision, and then me , because I went there to help dig her out.? Unbeknownst to me it was all ice underneath the snow down the driveway. The state police and Amherst police tried hard to get my daughter out to no avail. Thank you for trying. Ernie’s tow driver ( I didn’t catch his name) was efficient and kind. Thank you for your assistance. We appreciate it.
Paul, Brian and the rest of the Ernie’s team helped me out of a jamb when my brand new vehicle got stuck in deep snow. It wasn’t an easy recovery, and took more resources than they were anticipating, but they got the job done in a timely manner for a reasonable price. I felt like I was in competent hands the entire time, so unsurprisingly there was no damage to the vehicle despite the difficult recovery! Brian even drove my vehicle back to their shop to verify it was driving fine and that there were no problems. I hope to never have to call them again, but if you need reliable towing/recovery services, these are the people to call!
I called Ernie’s to have my vehicle towed to my location and within an hour of me picking up the phone it was on my property ready to go. Helpful support staff and driver was friendly, I will definitely be using their services again when needed.
Super responsive. AAA said it would take 2 hours, and my daughter locked her keys in the running car. I ended up finding a way to open the door just as a tow truck pulled in the driveway. They ended up only taking 30 mins.
Zach was prompt, helpful and kind during a very stressful situation. He made sure my car and myself got to the destination safely. Then assisted me the with coordinating the drop off. Ernie's came very quickly (within 10-15 minutes) and hooked up my car to be towed. They were on site for about 5 minutes and had my car on the way to my tire place. Very professional and polite!
I was quoted $150 an hour on the phone The job was to remove my car off my grass on to the driveway. Basically move my car 30 feet from the snow which took less than 5 minutes. I was then told this was going to be well over $200. I told the driver my quote and he said that it would not be that low. I feel completely misled. The first time using your service. Also the woman picked up the phone was not pleasant and like she was doing a favor speaking with me. I will not be using your service again.
Ernie’s towing is always fantastic. My car was stuck (more like embedded lol) in a snow bank. They came super quick, the 2 guys were very nice, and they had me on my way again in no time. I wasn’t sure they’d even be able to get me out but they did, no problem. I never worry with Ernie’s.
The aptly named Gabriel arrived much earlier than the time I was given. He was quick and efficient as he changed my tire. He made sure I knew the restrictions on driving with a donut spare. Would recommend Ernies.
An actual, helpful person answered the phone. We scheduled a time for service. The driver called to advise when he was on his way. He was friendly and knowledgeable and got my car running without having to tow it. What more could you ask for?
EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! AAA had Ernie's come out to change my flat tire to my spare tire. The window of service coincideted with a conference call I was having. I shared with the driver that I will have my trunk open and I cleared my stuff from the truck so the driver had easy access to the spare. After my conference call, I went to go put my stuff back in the truck. The service person came, changed the tire and placed all my stuff back in the trunk. What a delightful unexpected surprise!
Brett was fantastic despite my not knowing what happened with the car. I really appreciate the job he did! He got my car out of the snow without an issue and towed it without a problem.
I was geared up to be waiting some time, but Zach showed up real fast. Professional, knowledgeable and shared a bit of his expertise with me about the how’s and whys.

I drove my plow truck into a small decline. The nice driver saw me shoveling my way out and pulled over, asked me if i needed a pull. YES i said. Very cool that he saw the need.
Total flat tire on a frigid afternoon. I was totally rattled and bummed out. Called AAA, and then a nice guy with a pleasant personality showed up quickly, got the spare out of the back of my car and installed it speedily -- all amid super below-freezing temperatures. Brian at Ernie’s went above and beyond for me under awful conditions. Actually found people to move their vehicles so he could get to mine with 2ft of snow piled up on a narrow road.
Having to call for a tow in 20 degree weather with my dog in tow and away from home was stressful but Ernie’s got my vehicle and towed it to my mechanic so I could get my dog and myself home all while maintaining good communication and excellent customer service.
Fast service! Daughter locked her keys in her car. They arrived within 20 minutes of being scheduled through AAA app. Definitely would use them again if needed.

The person who helped me and did the work was great. He was friendly, welcoming and despite me coming in during a busy time where there were many demands on his time he worked to fit me in and get the job done quickly and well. He made me feel like his main interest was me being satisfied along with a job done right. I've had work done at Ernie's before and definitely will again.
The Earnies technician who responded was knowledgeable & took time to do an extra jump start that got the vehicle running. Very grateful for the help starting the car so I could drive it to my mechanic. Very pleased with the service !
The tow truck operator was extremely respectful of my awesome Porsche 911 and loaded it in the flatbed carefully! I am very grateful for his experience and knowledge.
My car wouldn’t start. The battery was dead, I hadn’t started it for a week. It had been very cold and I had been sick with the flu. Connected with AAA, and someone from Ernie’s came. He was great, gave my card a jump and all was well! I drove it around for a half hour. It’s started without problem.
The young man arrived in a timely fashion, several minutes before the expected time, which was wonderful since I was sitting out in a cold car. Since my car with a dead battery was stuck in drive, I was concerned as to what it would do once he started it. But he knew exactly what to do, got it started, backed it up a short distance as needed. And I was set to go. Very happy with the service.
My experience with Earnies was awesome! They were quick to pick up my vehicle and myself. The driver drove to several location and assisted with phones calls to help my find the best place to take my vehicle or for repair! Incredibly helpful! Highly recommend!
Amazing service! CALL THEM!! Super kind and understanding Driver that went above and beyond what he needed to do!!! I 100% recommend this Towing service to ANYONE!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Not only did he help with my stuck tire, he noticed that my donut was flat and saved me from a dangerous driving situation!! He could have just gotten the tire unstuck and left but he put donut on and helped me put the bum tire in the trunk and was SOOOO KIND!!!

Locked my car keys in the car like an absolute genius. Tow truck driver from Ernie’s got my car open for me in a jiffy, was polite and clearly competent. (I mention this because I know it’s often a concern when you’re a single woman alone with a car that needs seeing to.)
AAA communicated well enough about when he’d get there. (AAA membership is so worth it for the peace of mind!)
I used the app to request service. My car wouldn’t start. The tech arrived promptly within a half hour, checked and charged the battery. He was very professional. I was able to take it from there to my car dealership.
The dispatcher was very patient and courteous with me and the driver arrived quickly and got me on my way! They were also kind enough to change the tire versus towing me which saved me over $100
