Went in ten minutes to close. Told me exactly where I needed to go and I was able to get a part off a vehicle that has taken dealership four months plus to get. Very helpful and kind.
This place is the worst place ever. First time I went there, I had a filing cabinet and a safe. I went into the office and the lady rudely said, "read the sign, we don't take safes!" I casually asked her why. She replied with an attitude, "because I am the owner's wife and I said so!" I turned around and left.
Rude woman who also could use a nice comb through her hair, giving attitude for no reason and closed 3 hours earlier than the time listed. Not coming back here
Arrived at 3:50pm on Friday, closed at 3:30pm. A very pleasant sounding woman answered. The reason for my feedback. Informed me of their Saturday hours.
Woman at the office is rude and not respectful. Smells like smoking weed inside and from one young kid who working there. It looks like workers don't want that business to exist.
Should be a ZERO star for this place. At least I can say that I'm glad to see so many negative reviews because I thought that I had done something to piss that woman off.
I called once to get hours. Found out they close at 3:30, not 4:00 like all the info shows. I immediately got the impression that the woman I spoke to was in a rush and wanted our conversation to end quickly.
I had to call again and I hoped that somebody else would answer - no such luck.
So, I go to bring a car to scrap. A gruff biker looking woman greets me with "what d you want!". I told her I'm scraping a car. She tells me to drive on to the scale and get out of the car and off the scale. l guess I didn't get out fast enough so she comes out the door and is yelling at me "I told you to get off the scale".
Last time I did this, an employee took my keys and he did all that was required - as it should be. Then she screams for me to drive it closer to the building. I needed a wrench to get a stuck bolt holding my plate on. The kid went in to get some wrenches, because I felt that the vice grips I had might not do it. He comes back and says they have no tools. Really - at a junk yard ...
So, the gruff woman gives me a paper with the scrap amount on it and a small amount of cash. The last time I did this, they took the title and stamped it "SCRAPPED" so that it would never be used again. This time, she didn't even give me a copy of the title - I had to demand it. It had no indication of being scrapped.
I'm pretty sure those folks intend to sell that car and make a good bit of cash. Outwardly, it is in pristine condition, and if I was an unscrupulous person, I would have put it on Craigslist and could have gotten $1,000.00 for it. I did not want to deal with the headaches that came when it disastrously fell apart mechanically.
I will never go back there ...
The woman in the front office is very nasty very rude very disrespectful she does not deserve the job that she has there is not a polite bone in that woman's body
Extremely rude poor customer service using the f-bomb on customers without no reason by the desk Lady by the name of Roxanne. She's going to kill this business because her lack of professionalism and customer service.
The women that answered the phone was just so rude, I hung up before she even got finished talk/yelling at me in all of her KAREN perfection! I couldn’t even finish my sentence before she rudely interrupted me! Out of breath and anxious at 9:45am. Please….. It’s a junk yard, Karen. No one’s dieing. I will go else where. I’m sure I’ll find a nice old guy who will help me find what I’m looking for!!! Have a coffee and get a grip!!!
The lady who is in the office is very rude and racist. She can't understand nor listen to the customers. I went there once and I will not recommend anyone to go there. She is horrible and disrespectful I have never dealt with anyone like that in my life.
Prices were fair, a bit on the higher end of the price range i get charged at other places. No entry fee was great, able to find plenty of inventory which also was great.
Dropped off some scrap that collected from family car repairs and projects through the years. Quick and easy. Walmart and good places to eat nearby to spend the windfall.
The truck scale and the inside scale weigh different neither is correct then they will try to tell you you didn't have what you did have stay away!!!!!
Called was treated rudely from the start. Told they don't buy cats cause to many where stolen and in the same breath offered $5-10 bucks for it. So called a thief then low balled for my trouble so will never use,refer, or speak of this place .
Just got off the phone with the most rudest woman! I have a car that’s not easy to find parts for and asked the simplest of questions “do you have ?...... lady! If you’re having a bad day stay home or just don’t answer the phone
Called like 100 times at all different hrs no one answer. Left voice message no one call back. Went to the place no one is around. Overall bad business sign. Good luck to your business.
I gone to many yards and have not come across any like this one. I literally do don’t go to any other. I drive 1hr 10min to go to this yard. I always deal with Roxanne a worker here and she is one of the nicest people ever. Great prices and deals 100 thumbs up

Have always scrapped cars there with out an issue, I buy parts on a weekly basis. Great prices everyone is helpful. As far as the $2 goes, it’s a pick and pull who cares.
I dont know how they can rip me off time and time again but this is the last straw. I will never waste my time cashing in scrap here again gave me 60 less than 2 other scrap yards would have for the same wire. Every time I come here it's the same story. I'm disappointed with the prices so I call up another scrap yard and every time their prices are 110% better. Dont come here for anything. And on top of it all they are very rude.
Insanely rude, and they short changed me by about $50! They didn’t check to see what type of metal I was turning in, and when I questioned them, the awful woman in the back room just started yelling.

I have both sold a vehicle to these folks, and recently went there as a customer as well. I had no problems with service either time. I went into the office, told them what I was looking for, paid my 2 dollars and signed the waiver, and off I went. I found what I needed and the guy at the counter even lent me a push cart, when he saw that I had a second trip to make. I was very happy with the parts, the prices, and the service. I'm glad to have found somewhere so close to home that I was happy with. I will be going back there whenever I need parts. Thanks Eastern!!!
They have bad service they are rude and the worst prices around just bring ur scrap to chicopee they will give u up to $1 per pound more for insulated wire
Yeah their rude but I'd be yelling at the person who posted about taking a walk in the yard too. If you or your son got injured it would be their a$$. That's why there is a waver to sign.
And as a side note they don't have anything good there but poor people cars.
After reading the reviews, I decided to go there anyway and give it a try because it was convenient. Rude doesn't even begin to describe the way they treated me and my son.
we first stopped in the office to see if they had the car we were looking for. We were given a packet that listed the inventory and where vehicles were located. While we were reviewing the list, the person helping us walked away and started talking to another employee. So we went out into the salvage yard to look at a car. We came back to the office to ask a question and the woman behind the counter started yelling at us that we didn't sign a waiver and pay $2.00 to walk in the yard. I told her no one explained to us we had to do that. Then the man who we originally helped us started to blame us that we just walked out before he had a chance to tell us the policy. I started to say he walked away from us and the he stated "I thought you were going to your car" and the woman says he was trying to tell you and you just walked out. So the woman starts yelling again that when we came back for the part we wanted we had to sign the waiver and pay.
I have never been treated so badly by anyone employed at a business I was patronizing. Not sure how they stay in business with the way they treat customers.
Rude from the moment you walk in the door. Obviously couldn't careless if you did business with them or not. You have to pay $2 nonrefundable just to walk to the possible junk vehicle only to find out if they even have the part you are looking for. SOL if it's not there and not their problem. Zero would be a better rating.
