People who work for this company drive very dangerously. Two separate occasions I’ve been ran off the road by these guys. These photos were taken on 10/1/25 this person was on their phone and ran me off the road! Doesn’t sound like “New Englands Finest” to me. Be better!
The guys from Red's came to CT to help relocate our oxygen and argon tanks in preparation for a 15k sq' addition about to break ground at our aerospace EDM and laser facility in Southington. They were amazing to work with. Knew their stuff and watching them work was nothing short of impressive. Like we told them, we have $4M of lasers in this facility but the coolest thing we saw all day was them manipulating these monsters like they were putting a carton of milk in the fridge. Big shout out to Corey from Linde and everyone at Red's for a job very well done!
Well, it is not easy to find towing guys around Boston when your semi breaks down. Red's Towing in Springfield has provided great service with an affordable price. Driver's job is much appreciated, just a real iron man. Highly recommended to heavy duty folks.
Driver ran out of diesel on the road, just needed fuel. Police called this tow company, I tried to speak to them to ask them to bring fuel. They said bringing diesel was going to be more expensive than the tow. Quoted about $800 on the phone and send me a bill for over a thousand. Horrible company, take your business elsewhere.
Amazing service had to move a backhoe on a retaining wall. They sent a great operator (Harold) he was on time and helped out above and beyond his job !
These people have zero respect for their customers and clearly have no idea how to run a business. If you value your time, money, or sanity, avoid Redd’s Towing like the plague. They’re a joke, a ripoff, and a total disgrace to the industry.
My car broke down on Mass pike today and the driver brought my car to the house, looked like he was filling out some paperwork so i didn’t bother him. I moved my daughter’s car in the back of the house so he had room to pull in but he didn’t. He just left with my car on his truck. No call, no text, he just left. I had arranged for my mechanic to come and check out my car which I need for work for Monday morning one hour away. I work in healthcare and people rely on me to show up, I’m extremely disappointed with the service!
Motorhome broke down on I-90, needed towing. Thanks to the driver & owner, we got to where we need to get fixed. They were careful, efficient, helpful. It's a dangerous job. Be safe. Merge over for workers on side of road. Thanks again. We recommend Red's highly.
My neice called and asked if they could retrieve her father's ashes from her vehicle and their was response was " pay the $500 and you can have your property back." Absolutely disgusting & inhumane response.

I was stuck at Blandford Service Plaza. Red was actively listening to try and help me. While I was on the phone with another company then he called his driver Gio. Gio went out of his way to get here asap and helped me out greatly. Thank you so much!
This place is the absolute slum of towing companies. Let’s start with the absolute disgrace to the human race secretary they have working the front desk. Not only is she arrogant, rude, has no problem cursing at customers but does not have enough common sense to actual do her job. Second, I was told to ask for “Rofu” because he was the one to speak to for any help with the atrocious fees charged when the Holyoke police department left no choice but to have the car towed to their lot after it was STOLEN.
I was called a JACKASS after asking about this “public access fee” a $95 fee charged to allow another tow company to ACCESS THEIR LOT. So why did they have me pay the fee, then push my smashed in, unlocked vehicle with A BUSTED IGNITION INTO THE STREET after essentially STEALING THE $95?
I understand tow companies are the devil but this one is honestly the epitome of scum and deserves to be shut down, or at least for Rofu to stop reproducing so there is no more grandchildren for him to pass it onto, since he blamed his asinine prices on the amount of grandchildren he has to take care of.
I recently had a commercial vehicle accident and Chad and his crew at Red's took care of everything. I could not have asked for better service. Post accident every small request I had they happily took care of. I would very highly recommend Red's towing for your emergency needs.
Great people, great company, and if you have a mishap with your vehicle, not a bad place for your vehicle to be safely stored. Everyone was nice, professional, and I knew my vehicle was safely locked away. Tim is a great guy, helped me out alot.
Our car was in a bad spot so while we’re waiting we had an “idea” how to help our driver. Good thing we don’t do it for a living because he said “I can do it this way”, it turns out he is much wiser than we are when it comes to his job!!! He was very nice and did a fantastic job! Thank you!!!
Jerry was very helpful to me. I had a flat tire on the side of the road and even though they were busy, he still offered to send help. He even call the state police to get someone to come check on me. This was above and beyond. If only everyone was this kind, the world would actually be peaceful. Thank you Jerry!
Would not recommend to my worst enemy, very unprofessional employees who can’t seem to be managed by the owner. Car was towed to their lot, went to pick it up the next day and the employees told us they moved it this morning. Went to where it was moved to inside the lot and the whole car was rummaged through with all the contents left on the ground. When asked employees about what happened (especially when we were just told that it was just moved) they said someone must have jumped the fence and broke in the car. 100% not the definition of a secure lot. When we asked to review cameras we got the runaround on why we can’t view them. Called the front desk and I believe it was the owner who I talked to and he very rudely told me there would be no discount for the tow out. He finally ended up having to come to the lot after the driver didn’t want to jump the car so we could make sure everything was working on it. Owner or manager was very condescending and talked down to us because we were obviously very upset with the way the situation was being handled. He did reluctantly give us a discount off the tow for the troubles. If you have a choice in your tow which unfortunately we didn’t, would definitely recommend either Hampshire towing or Interstate towing
Red's handled our recent tow need quickly and professionally. We had a piece of construction equipment mired axles deep in the mud. When they got our call, snow was beginning to fall, but no problem they came right away. The driver, courteous and competent, efficiently executed 2 separate pull angles to get us dislodged in no time. Good job. Will remember the good service for our next tow need.
Reasonable price, very fast and professional service. My rig broke down at the fuel pump at Pilot, and some other towing company took whole day before they finally called me back at midnight and told me they can’t tow me out until the morning. Red’s Towing showed up quickly and saved the day.

There are countless 1 star reviews about 1 unprofessional rude elderly employee at the front desk, who stated to us “I have nothing better to do” when asked why she was giving us an attitude for no reason. Very unprofessional and rude customer service, I would stay very far away from this company. And if you’re being towed and have to deal with the front desk lady, be aware that you will be talked down upon and she will take our her problems selfishly on you the customer. If i could give 0 stars I would, and would love for her manager to contact me.
I got a flat on the side of I-91 today (7/28). I called AAA and they said it was going to be a 90 minute wait- Red's came to my rescue within 20 minutes of making that phone call! The gentleman (I didn't catch his name) was super friendly, nice, and helpful! He had everything figured out on how to "charge" through AAA and had my donut/spare on within 10 minutes. I know who to call again if I ever need help, these guys for SURE! Extra kudos to him bearing the 90°F+ weather to fix my flat on the side of the highway.
Red's Towing is outstanding! We had a 200 mile tow of our heavy duty truck and 40ft fifth wheel camper back to NJ. Jason was outstanding over the phone taking care of billing details with AAA. And in person he was just as nice. Both Jason and Kyle (the other tow driver who we rode with), are good people. Very nice, respectful people; good conversation; down to earth.
I wish every tow experience I've had was this good. Being on the Mass Tpk, we didn't have a choice in who we had to use, but I am so glad we got Red's. If I'm ever in the area and need a tow, I'm definitely calling Red's directly.
The driver showed up over 2 hours later than I was told with no apology. I was nice to him, because I was afraid he would mistreat my car, and sure enough he was rushing and the front bumper was damaged when he loaded it (I saw my car bounce). I had to track down their manager Chad(?), because he wouldn't return my (3) calls. Finally I got a hold of him, but he was so unprofessional and denied it without even taking a look at it. I'm thinking this happens a lot, because he seemed rehearsed. I'm trading my car in and thankfully the dealer was good about the damage, otherwise I'd be filing my 1st Small Claims against them!
I was stranded on the side of the road and called Reds towing and Ryan came within 15 min of my call. He was great with his customer service and was very careful with my car. I was on the highway where it was extremely unsafe not much room to walk around the car without traffic almost hitting you. Thank you for your great Service we need more men like you around.
