I’ve been going to Richard for 20 years. He’s one of the smartest people I’ve met and that includes college presidents and even a noble prize winner. Richard can solve a problem quickly and charges a very reasonable price for excellent work and advice. It doesn’t get any better.Chet
Would not go here. Left out a bolt on my passenger caliper after a wheel bearing job. They also cut corners on my timing belt seals and lied to me saying it was 4 hours out of the way(watched 3 videos of the job) so they could do my valve cover to make up for the re-do of the timing belt job that I refused to pay for because they’d less than 12’000 miles ago. also in this same service told them I knew my valve cover is leaking and that I’d take care of it but did it anyway.
Got an oil change done here on short notice. Friendly staff, job was done quick, and was a very reasonable price. Great all around and would highly recommend.
Amazing local business !!! I brought my Toyota Prius in because some of the dash lights came on. The gentleman was very helpful and knowledgeable. Other places (even local businesses) were going to charge $100+ to even look at the car ! Richard ran a diagnostics test at no charge. I was especially grateful because I know some places rip off women because they assume they don't know anything. I did not get these vibes at all from this business. I will definitely be bringing my car back in the future for any future repairs and maintenance. Go to Richards !!
A CV joint in the front of my Impreza was going bad, so I called Richard's to get a quote to replace both front axles. Their cost to do the job was fair, and they got the job done in record time. I dropped it off on a Wednesday morning and within an hour they called to let me know the parts they had wouldn't fit my car after all. No big deal, it happens, I get it. They gave me a new quote and said they could have the right parts there the following day, so that's what we did. The car was finished mid-day Thursday.
Here's the kicker - they even torqued the lug nuts to the appropriate torque! (Yes, I checked). I've had dealerships that couldn't even do that part right! It's little things like that that build trust and let me know the job was done right, and that care was taken with my vehicle. The next time another job comes up that I'm not equipped to do at home, I will very happily return to Richard's.
Richard's is a very trustworthy and reliable automotive repair shop. I drive there for all my auto work even though his place is thirty minutes from my house. I have been going there for 15 years and have always been satisfied with his work!
I have been going to Richard for at least 20 years. He has never been anything but helpful and I am so grateful. Even if I didn’t like Hondas I wouldn’t want to switch because I don’t want anyone else working on my car.
I've been going to Richard for my Hondas' care since 2003. If I could give him 10 out of 5 stars, I would. To me (and a few friends I've referred to him), he's the local Honda Guru. He knows the make and all its various models, new and old, like the back of his hand. I'm aware of at least a handful of situations where he diagnosed and remedied issues that two or three Honda dealerships could not. He never does work that is not essential without checking with the owner first - nothing but pleasant surprises from Richard!
They replaced a transmission for me on my acura! I was very pleased with the work and the fact that the bill matched the estimate! No surprises! Check em out!
