My wife and I bought a boot for our 1965 Corvair convertible 2 years ago. Due to the cheap snap design, every time we unsnapped a snap it would break off. We communicated with customer service and we returned the boot and were given a new one. In November 2024 we communicated again to the customer service regarding again the snap issue. We were told over the snaps that are being used still have issues. We contacted them in February 2025 again and were advised the snap issue was still not fixed and to not send out boot in until the issue is fixed. In April 2025 we reached out again and were told that they had some samples of new snaps and it looked promising for the future but they were still not ready to replace the snaps on our boot. On May 16th we reached out again and was once again told that the snap design was still not tested. Does it really take 2 years to fix this issue?
Now it’s car show season and I am still dealing with this.
I don’t recommend buying a boot or other products from this company. By the looks of things they sell cheaply made items and take forever to take care of their customers.
They have great customer service, often emailing me when there's a cheaper shipping option available for my order all the way to Washington. They offer great parts and I've used them at least 12 times now.
I’ve made multiple orders from Clark’s, always arrives quickly and pain free. Once a small part was mixed up and the wrong one was sent, and they shipped me a new one for free right away.
Definitely recommend for all things Corvair.
I obtained my 1968 500 a few years ago. I have changed it to dual exhaust, added a right side mirror, added a clock and replaced the vinyl flooring with a previous year model carpet. All from Clark’s. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else! Apparently what they can’t get, they make themselves. Incredible!

Condescending lady on the phone , what’s so hard about a call back from your tech? If a multi million dollar carb company can have a tech call us back, I see no reason why the smaller company has such an issue with it .
Literally called over 100 times over the course of 3 days always getting a busy signal , until I FINALLY reached someone , just to be told the tech was on lunch for the next hour and 15 minutes and no call back was available. Try your luck next time basically…

Clark's has nothing but quality products. Everything I have ever purchased from them has been great! The suspension parts, pre-bent fuel, brake lines, and carburetor kits. The small instruction papers included with some of the parts is an AWESOME bonus. Very helpful. Never had an issue. Always quick shipping and packed well. The staff that answers the phone has always been helpful at answering my questions or adding something to my order I forgot. I love how Clark's not only has major parts for the corvair but all the little small detail pieces too. If you need a corvair part Clark's has it and for a fair price! Please do not buy from these clowns!! I have never tried to install a more complete JUNK product, then what these people sell. Instructions are Horrible, pictures are not legible, and the tech help is worthless!! The tech support tech even told me the pics are wrong in the instructions. Then why don’t you rectify the issue then?? If u want to fight their junk for 6-8 hrs the way I did and completely lose your tail on the job, buy from these guys…..
these guys are outstanding , besides having hard to find parts , the online is flawless , shipping is fast ( Fed-Ex ground, here in 3 days to Florida) ( new exhaust manifold )
These people are great and super easy to work with. The quality and service is top notch. They always ship my parts promptly, accurately, and if there's an issue they call. They're a major asset for the Corvair community, I wish my other cars had this level of service.
Excellent parts selection and good customer service. My only complaints are that the processing time takes forever, sometimes a few days for just simple parts. The customer service is good when you can get them but they don’t seem keen on answering the phone. The online catalog is borderline useless and disorganized but again, I can’t complain much because the selection and quality is amazing and I’d be lost without them.
