I enjoy coming here to service my vehicles. Today it's difficult to find shops that are responsive, but Bob, Steve and Peter work hard to please. They work even harder to put your vehicle in shape. I know when i leave a vehicle they'll do everything I've asked and do everything that's needed on the vehicle. I recommend Country Motors to everyone. Thank you Country Motors!
The staff are friendly knowledgeable. Prices are moderate you tell them what you need they will check out your entire vehicle if necessary only upon your Permission. I've been a loyal customer for 6 years. What else can I say !!! Country motors is the real deal!!!!
If I could give 0 stars, I would. This place hates law enforcement. Not only did they reject my vehicle during inspection for window tint that I’m allowed to have, but they partially tore off my State Police sticker off my rear window, in an attempt to remove it. Unprofessional and disgusting service. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here.
Great customer service! Bob and his team are very thorough. They explain everything that's going with the car and help you prioritize what needs to be done and what can wait. Extremely trustworthy group!
I look forward to seeing Steve at Country Motors every August for my inspection. He's efficient and always gets my Camry wagon in and out of the inspection bay quickly.
I did my car inspection there. Very convenient. Great people. They open on Saturdays, so it is great for people who have difficulty finding time for inspection on weekdays.
Got my inspection sticker there recently. I've known this place for 50+ years, I didn't wait long. The people have changed over the years, but I still appreciate the congenial atmosphere there.
Good guys...friendly and experienced. I really appreciate their honesty. I feel like a lot of shops try to get you for as much as they can, but these guys act and work like they want your repeat business not just a quick buck.
Fantastic place. Have been here for inspections. Always polite and friendly and always agree to use my provided floor jack pad to protect unibody. Never a long wait. Very nice people.
I used to come here for Inspection since 2017, I think, every year, it was very convenient on my way to work, very nice and professional place. I even brought my boss here for car inspection.
And today they scraped my Crane Beach stickers off my windshield. Also, they deliberately destroyed my Walter Reed Military Base sticker. I don't have much, sometimes just a memory, I don't even have many pics of Walter Reed left. That little sticker bothered no one, it was on non-transparent part of the windshield, very low, invisible from the inside. In the process of destroying my stickers they made a mess, pieces of stickers inside, greasy smears on my windshield (not removable with paper towel), splashed white something on my dashboard, and something sprayed on my hood outside. And they told me - next year we will just destroy all stickers we see. Well...there will be no next year, you know that, right?
So my work today I spent cleaning my clothes of sticker pieces with shaking hands, thank you, guys. Also, I have to wash and detail my car to remove the mess, and make sure that the unknown chemicals will not destroy the surfaces they were splashed on.
While tending to my car, I saw Ipswich police cruiser driving by, so I waved, and asked the officer if Crane Beach stickers can be affixed to the windshield. He gave me a long suffering look, and said - Yes, ma'am, as far as it's not obscuring the view from the car and visible to the Crane Beach Officer, it's fine.
I don't know, what went wrong this time, but if you have Crane Beach sticker - don't go there. It will be pain in... to replace it.
Thank God, they din't get to my Nobska Beach sticker, it's as expensive as their Inspection! :)
The mechanics here are fast and helpful - during my car inspection, one of them taught me how to reset a tire pressure warning light on my car, and checked the tire pressure at no charge.
Thank you so much Bob. I was driving from NH to Connecticut with my family including my 3 kids including my baby. Our car broken town in topfield and I found country motors by chance. They were closed but we explained to Bob we had kids and the situation. Bob was amazing. Had us pull in. Took the car in right away. Helped us the best he could untill he was able to get parts to fix the car and get us back on the road. Bob was so welcoming to my family and made me kids feels a lot better about the situation. Bob really went out of his way to help us and to make sure he could do everything possible for us. Once the car was repaired it runs perfect now and his price was more than fair. What you want in a mechanic
felt compelled to write a review after reading the one claiming drunkenness. There is absolutely no possibility that this is true. my family has been using country motors as long as I can remember, feels like over a decade at this point. Every single interaction has been professional, prompt, and pleasant. They always go above and beyond. I hope everyone's mechanic is as amazing as these guys, but they're probably not, so you should just come here :)

Absolutely love this garage, it's the only place I trust to take to and have my car worked on. I've been going there for 11 years now, but my family has been going there for over 30 years. Bob and everyone else are an absolute pleasure and make the troubles of car problems less stressful. I also know that I will never be screwed over or taken advantage of, honest and kind people.
I was in a bad car accident years ago, and who happened to come to tow my car? Bob. Not only did he check on me, but he called my parents to let them know what happened. A car garage that feels like family!
Great local auto repair shop. Friendly team of mechanics and highly-skilled at auto repair. Reasonable prices and fast turnaround for annual auto inspection.
Went into get an inspection sticker at 3:55 PM on a Monday, four days before the end of the month, they were closed. On their site and the MA Inspection site, they are listed as open until 5PM. Don’t waste your time, go to S&P Sparks, right around the corner. They were very accommodating.
I stopped in for an inspection today. They were very fast and helpful. The instructions for the inspection process is literally written on the wall so if you are anything like me and you don't do this often, you will have no issues.
The only downside if that they only take cash for inspections. I wasn't aware of this before I went so I had to come back another day.
Switched from the BMW (Peabody) and Buick (Lowell) dealerships a year ago to get both my cars serviced here. Part of the reason is my cars are 6+ years old and I don't feel justified paying top dollar at the dealerships. I've been really happy with the service provided at Country Motors and would recommend them in a heartbeat. I find them to be very reasonably priced and honest.
The guy is always drunk, you'll need to re visit at least three times before you car is 60% fixed...3 more for 100% fixed and then it will fall apart again because that guy is a drunk. You're honestly better off having circus elephants repair your car at this point. Take you car to Pat across the street instead
Great work on timing belt. Price covered water pump and all pulleys and was cheaper than Dealer's cost to just do belt. Also had glovebox and tailgate fixed at reasonable prices. Appointment was on time and received car back on time.
Every time I am here I get treated like family. Bob is one of the most knowledgeable mechanics I have ever met. I will always recommend them to everyone I know.
