Sold me a car that had serious unknown electrical problems show up just after the 1-month guarantee. It got scrapped only a few months after purchase.
It initially didn’t pass inspection even though they “guaranteed” it would. It had an exhaust leak that they had to fix.
The man I interacted with - Gary I believe - was condescending and pushy as I inspected the car. Kept saying “it’s perfect” and that I can look over the whole thing all I want and won’t find any problems.
Do not do business with Frams, you will be disappointed.
Just bought a tire that originally said $40 and went to $50, two people were smoking cigarettes in the office. Called them back after I went to a tire shop to mount them and they told me anything over 10 years you are not supposed to mount the tire because of Safty reasons. When I called back he said we can return or you can spend another $20 illegally mount and balance.
I will never buy a vehicle from them again. Wouldn't advise anyone to buy a vehicle from them either. I have had nothing but problems since I bought from here. I haven't even had the vehicle for a yr yet and its needed more repairs then i ever had to put into any vehicle i had in a yrs time frame. I have paid over $2000 in repairs so far since purchasing the vehicle. NEVER BUY A VEHICLE FROM THEM.. maybe there good for other things but not purchasing a vehicle..
The people here are amazing. I just bought a van Honda Odyssey from them and I love it. The buy was quick and professional. When I got it home had a small issue and they came to my house and fixed it with no hesitation. Friendly, professional and on top of any issues or questions. I highly recommend them!!
This place is good for finding a good used car. They also sell auto parts you need for your car at a reasonable price. Call them first. They might have the parts.
I bought my last car here and they gave me a great deal and fixed everything it needed before I picked it up! The salesman was wonderful too, he’s been working there for years. My dad has been going here for car parts etc since the ‘70’s and they have always been fair and reliable. I am in the market for another car now and Frams is the first place I’ll go look!
Fram's has been around since b4 I was a teenager in the early 80's. I have bought parts there b4. It's a pretty rough looking Bone Yard. Pricing is hit or miss. I personally wouldn't buy a used car from them, although I never have. I know of 2 people who did and had issues each time. Place is kind of rough looking too. Time for a facelift !!
Definitely their friends are giving good reviews. I went to look at three cars listed two Pontiac and a dodge. By the second car my brother and I had seen enough. The cars are trash and the prices change from what you see on craigslist to being on the lot. Example Pontiac sun fire listed on craigslist for $1600 on the lot $2100. Also the sign Salvage should give you a hint what the cars are and where they came from. I did not want to give a star at all to this place.
I bought a car from them about 9 months ago, the only problem i had with it was the day after i bought it the battery died. I had it jumped and i brought it back to them and they checked it for me and have me a different battery. Other than that they been great to me and even helped out with my fiance car that would of cost a lot at most other places. I would recommend this place to others.
I visited many junkyards, i really did not like this one. First the office smells like there s a dead dog, not very welcoming and i m not picky. Then i try to visit the junkyard and parked my car near the junkyard gate, the junkyard being a bit far from the office. A vigilante cop wannabe asks me if i was allowed by the office to come here, how dare I. I am then asked to remove my car from the vicinity of the junkyard gates in a public street, because there are thieves. Very welcoming again. I will not profanate this sacred ground again and bring my thousands dollars part budget for my 3 trucks elsewhere for sure.
I have had great success in both buying and trading with this company for years. George Fram is the best person I know in the car business. He cares about the customer service.
The absolute WORST place ever! I bought my car for $2000 and everything was mickey moused to last for a little while. Windows were broken wouldnt go up after went down. Constantly overheated and the heater broke after like a week. Went to get it fixed like 3 times and nothing ever lasted. When I went to go give it back guy was never there. Nobody could help me when I finally caught him he suggested trade it in and he wanted me to give him $2000 more on a newer car. The price on the car was 2500. Are you kidding me? I said no why would i pay basically $4000 for a car that clearly had written 2500 on the window. This place is horrible I got so sick of going back and forth I took the loss but Never again. You want a car dont go here!
This place is full of it I tell you. Went there to find out how much for a rim, 1 guy says 35 so my boyfriend and I go get the money. Go back for another guy to say no it's 80 to 100 for the rim. This place is a joke and shouldn't be open. Their customer service sucks. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
These people are shysters. I could not afford to buy a new used car and these people totally took advantage of my ignorance about cars. I thought I was getting a good deal on a safe car. What I actually got was a car that has several major safety issues that revealed themselves in a continuous domino effect. My wallet is continuing to feel the blow of the patched up gaffe job of an unsafe vehicle that they allowed me to drive away with my 4 year old son in the back. I would absolutely NEVER recommend these people to anyone. I have paid more in surprise repairs to this vehicle than I paid for the vehicle itself. It is quite clear that these people are out to take advantage of people whenever given the chance. I wonder if these people giving positive reviews have been paid to do so. This woman Kerri Ridge has given a much more accurate description of who you are dealing with. I would NOT say these people are honest or trustworthy at all.
Don't come here thinking it's a dealership. It's a junkyard that knows the value of a used car to folks that need an affordable alternative. I love the Minivan I got here. I would not have gotten such a great deal from another company.
I did business with these guys and they fixed my car for a lot less than it would have been somewhere else,but every time I got my car fixed something else was wrong mainly my electronics. by the last time I had my car fixed there my remote starter didn't work and neither did my remote locks. I paid George before I inspected my car and when I told him,he told me he was to busy to get it done anytime soon and my car would have to be ripped apart again to fix it and only one guy was experienced enough and he was to busy
Not only did I buy a car from them. But with their help repairing it my $1,600 car has given me over 60,000 miles of daily driving. I always recommend them to friends,who now also use them. George is the man!!! Highly recommend this team. These are used cars and used parts so consider the money you save when doing business there.Good value!!!

I bought a car here and had nothing but problems. Nobody wanted to help me or even look at the car once the cash was in their hands. I was told "we're too busy" while 3 men sat behind the desk looking bored to death. I actually heard one of them complaining about how "dead" the shop was when I first walked in. They sold me a complete lemon, the engine/transmission were junk at day 35. Worst experience ever.
I did NOT buy a car from them, BUT it seems like a great place to do so. I WOULD buy a car from them if they would get a digital camera that lets them take a picture of their inventory and put it on either their website or a facebook page or even on a photo sharing site. Just some way to know if they have something I want. They are far from my home but they seem worth the trip just to check out the inventory if you want something under 2000. They also have higher priced vehicles but I'm just looking for a daily driver with good gas mileage.
