Had a flat tire last night on Rt 93, called AAA and within a half hour an angel named Cody appeared with his tow truck. Quickly got us and our vehicle back home. He was so kind, polite and efficient. A real asset to the company. Thanks again Cody! (Couple from Reading)
I had to tow my husbands & I Honda S2000 today due to issues, and the technician they sent named:
(M008-Rolando F.) went ABOVE & BEYOND. I requested towing through Triple AAA and I am always sketched out or nervous because I was alone, getting our convertible towed. But this man was so amazing to me. Took such amazing care of our baby (S2000). So respectful and just as nervous as I was due to the car being so dropped low (modified) and possible damage from getting it on the flatbed. But he helped me avoid any damage (besides front bumper dragged a bit), but I couldn't of had such an amazing experience with Sheehans Towing. Great guy, funny, literally felt like Ive known him for years. We were both so nervous of how to do get this baby on the flat bed. He took out the boards and all to protect our baby!!! Also gave compliments on our beauty, and was so excited that he never towed a S2000 (since they don't make them anymore). It was just such a pleasant experience ,even though my nerves were going crazy, he made sure our convertible and myself were safe & in one piece !! If I ever have issues again, and need a tow, I really hope I am able to request him! My husband and I want to thank you so much for being so kind & caring for me and our baby. TY TY TY TY Rolando F. very legit company with great employees. shoutouts to JD and Joseph for helping me out big time on storage and towing fees when i was going thru a rough time after my car accident! loved their service so much that i hired sheehan again to tow my totaled car to another location the next day. super great and understanding people!
I am LITERALLY in their parking lot with a dead battery and was told they wouldn't be able to help me... It 2:04 in the afternoon, when I called they claimed they couldn't find me, so I put my hood up and said I'm right next to you... They hung up. A few drivers were in and out finally at 3:53 I asked a driver if he could help me and that's when I was told the couldn't help ALL I NEEDED WAS MY CAR JUMPSTARTED. I don't know if they are more rude or lazy.
Hit a deer on the highway last night 6/21/25 our driver was quick to load up our car and get us to a safe location to arrange someone to pick us up. This morning 6/22/25 we needed to go get our personal belongings as the car is going to be deemed totaled , they were very nice asked how we were doing etc , getting our belongings back was very easy, the driver who let us into the lot to get our belongings was very nice as well!
Haven’t used this company for a tow but I’m not sure I’d want to with the way they drive. Had one of your drivers behind me as we’re getting ONTO an on ramp and he decided to speed around me and cut me off. I had a car in front of me leaving a respectful enough space. He didn’t have any lights on then ironically as soon as I take my phone out to get a picture of the plate he decides to put his lights on. Then proceeded to speed down the left lane for awhile (never saw him stop to tow anyone before I got off the highway). License plate was 9412n in Lawrence getting onto 495 12/30 between 4:30/5:00. It was all bumper to bumper traffic btw, learn how to drive!
UPDATE: Company replied driver was responding to an accident on 213 @ exit 3. Little do they know I live in NH and have to take 213 to get home. Driver was still driving on 495 in the left lane while I got off at 213. All I’m saying is drive carefully. Especially in a lettered truck.
Called because my car would Not start last night. Service man had a problem with getting my car started. He appologized and said help is on the way. With in ten minutes two gente en showed up and helped him they were very profesional and were on a mission to get my car going. Thank you guys for the help. Hope your boss sees this post.
Got a flat on the highway and AAA sent a driver from here, he was awesome! He was upbeat and entertaining and made me feel like everything was okay in a situation that could have been stressful.
I had a great experience with Sheehan's this evening. I wish I'd gotten the names of the two drivers but I was pretty stressed out when my car broke down on I-93. The first driver had great communication and showed up in about a half hour. When he realized he couldn't tow my car because we couldn't get the trailer hitch mounted bike rack off, he got a flatbed driver over in about 5 minutes. I got towed to my desired mechanic in NH with no issues and had an enjoyable conversation on the way. They made a multi-hour ordeal eaiser to deal with. Very respectful young men, and I always felt safe.
Dispatcher lied to me after my car was towed from an accident, stating that I needed to pay cash because they were called by the police - obviously not true and they had a card reader right behind the desk. Took over an hour to respond to a AAA request to tow my car, while my car was already in their lot. They only towed it once I followed up with AAA. Failed to communicate with AAA on a change in address put in with them 45 minutes prior and told me if I wanted my car to be towed to the updated address, I would have to call a third tow. Thankfully the tow driver himself was reasonable and dropped it off at the correct location. I would avoid using this place if possible.
They came within 30 minutes and they didn’t bring the right type of tow truck, which was on me for not putting down the right info on the tow request. They immediately had a flat bed there within 30 minutes after. Both of the drivers I met were very respectful, helpful, and kind. They turned what could have been a very rough time on the side of the highway into a very positive experience. Will absolutely be recommending them to anyone who may need a tow in the area.
Called for a tow at 11:23pm. While they could complete the job, they were only able to do so IF I paid in cash. It's 2024 and you can't take a card at nearly midnight? Nope.

Him and his team were SO very kind and accommodating to my mother (who traveled from the Catskill mountains in NY State all the way to Methuen MA when my car was unexpectedly towed in Jan 2024. They kept it for 13 days and I wouldn't have wanted it anywhere else. Id recommend then 100% for the compassion, knowledge and professionalism they provided to not only myself but exp my mother. They wouldn't even accept cash tips from her, they said 'a thank you and prayers ' would be all they would accept :) Amazing fam at #Shaheens Towing
I wish I could give negative stars. I upgraded my front bumper on my BMW (m5) and just had it installed and painted two weeks prior. I got a flat tire driving over a pothole and called AAA for a tow who had contracted the tow to Sheehan’s towing. I had them tow me to my mechanic and when they arrived, they unloaded my car into a snow bank and put a huge crack in my new bumper. My mechanic showed me the security camera footage of this happening. I went inside of Sheehan’s to talk with them about it and they denied all of it and gave me the worst attitude about it, despite me having seen the footage. I couldn’t even believe how rude they were about it when they were at fault. Complete disrespect and terrible customer service. Don’t give them business.
Do your self a favor and go to any other place to get an inspection. The guy will fail you for no reason, i went to another place after he rejected me for my tint twice and was told it was 35 and showed me proof. Absolute scam.
HORRIBLE. Had my mechanic husband take my car to be inspected. Had him waiting for an hour, and very rude. I’ve had this car for 5 years with LED headlights always passed inspection. He rejected the inspection for them, and tried scamming my husband out of another 60 bucks to change to new headlights. Don’t go here it’s a scam, rip off and bad customer service
My car was towed, and I went to pick it up. I had no problems my belongings where still in were was when it was towed. No damages, no nothing. My car was in great shape. Decent price for the amount of time it was held. Thank you have a great day
Looked last night for snow warning in methuen a.d there wasn't one posted at 1130 pm. I know they were called by the police and were just doing there job. Here's the kicker, it got not even a half mile from my house to there shop. They charged me almost 200 dollars! Now on top of everything from utilities to groceries being astronomical I get charged an outrageous amount for a 1/2 mile tow. On top of that now my check engine light is on and my ebrake cable is hanging and not working so I'll have to shell out even more money. That's not the end though. I have the driver on camera helping himself to my cigarettes that were in the truck. Your kidding me right? I'd highly recommend to use anyone else if you have a choice. As of now they have lost a minimum 10 customers between me and my family
These people are scammers. Stole the aux cable I had in my car then proceeded to lie and charge me an absurd amount of money to bring my car to my house after an accident even tho the car was capable of making the trip. Also came in for an inspection, believe it was some silly holiday. Said they don’t do inspections that day yet there was a whole staff of them lounging around doing absolutely nothing. Place needs to be shut down. Full of miserable people.
We tried to use this business through AAA, however when they arrived on scene tonight they indicated they were too busy to tow us to Billerica (even though AAA plus guarantees 100 miles of towing to a location of your choice). Instead they left us sitting on the highway on a Friday night at 5 pm after the car had caught on fire and we’d already waited almost 2 hours! I’d walk 20 miles before I’d use this company!
A huge shoutout to a Gregg for saving the day! My Jeep got a flat tire when I was driving home from my shift at the hospital. I originally called Roadside Assistance via the Jeep Uconnect system. After waiting over 2.5 hrs for them I gave up and called AAA. Gregg from Sheehan’s Towing showed up within 35 minutes of my calling AAA. He was fantastic! He was able to attach a spare and have me on my way in record time. I’m so appreciative of him. He really put my mind at ease when he got there! Sheehan’s certainly has a phenomenal worker! Thanks for all you do to help us out when we need it most!
Longtime Customer , Not Happy! my car was brought in for right wheel hub, got the vehicle back with several problems, service transmission, service park break, check engine and check ABS system , called them and was told they would get back to me they never called back, paid over $400 the car was moved from South Lawrence to Methuen was not told about the move, Finally took it to another shop, was told it was either poorly installed or part was defective, was charged $150 less than what Sheehan's, change me. with great results.
Sheehan’s towed my vehicle following a crash while I was on vacation. When my own insurance company screwed up and removed my vehicle from Sheehan’s (to a salvage yard near Boston) without my permission or authority, I demanded they return it to Sheehan’s. The folks at Sheehan’s graciously worked with me - despite the BS they had to deal with from my insurance company - to make this happen. Very impressed with their professionalism in a frustrating situation.
Great service, I needed my car towed 3 times in less than 24hrs, had to move it from shop to shop. The guys were amazing, all 3 times they got to my location in less than 15 minutes, courteous and friendly. Made a disaster day feel a bit better and less stressful with their great service.
Called AAA for a tow due to a damaged transmission on my truck. They sent out Sheehan's towing. Gave my keys to the driver and watched him load the truck, have directions to the house and sent him on his way. Left with my wife and my dad to go get the wife's car from a tire shop and went home to find the driver had left the trick where I asked him to. All is good so far, until I look at the front of the truck and saw my headlight and lower fairing damaged. Called it to Sheehan's and they said someone would be in contact with me the next day. No phone call the next day. I call up the following day and speak with the "owner" and was told to send pictures. I sent the pictures. They now won't answer calls or texts.
I've used them in the past without any issues, but have heard many horror stories from other customers
