My husband brought a grill a stove a washer and dryer and two acs a bike and some copper they only gave me 25$ that is crazy they absolutely rip people off
9/25/2024 Bunch of crooked people working there.
Took 205 pounds of copper and they threw it with all their other stuff and claimed that it was a brass mix.
It was not brass this was separated by someone who knows the difference between brass and copper.
DO NOT RECOMMEND
They are 100% taking advantage of people.
Guess you need to walk them thru what you are bringing to then to be paid properly.
Not only did it happen to me but it also happened to a family member recently as well.
Twice now this place has closed early! Not a good way to do business when people drive 40 minutes away for nothing lazy people always want to wrap up early
Uno pasa trabajo removiendo metales pesados para ganarse la vida honradamente y estos empleados en windfield te dan Mal servicio al cliente son unos ladrones . Cuando el jefe no está te manipulan la pesa para robarte dinero. Si te quejas con los dueños los dueños deciden votar te del lugar en ves de chequear su administración y empleados . Christian cruz y José son unos ladrones y se hacen los inocentes. He visto como lo sobornan para pasar productos q no tienen y reciben dinero a cambio. Mi carro siempre pesa al final un peso y ellos ponen otro para robarte un pal de pesos. No hay buena seguridad ni lealtad . Dicen que la pesa está certificada pero aún así manipulan el peso .
Great staff, prices are decent, just know if you ever need quick cash and you come here before selling your scrap ask if they have cash. Its a common thing for them to run out of money.
Good price for scrap, but I've come at different times and different days and there is always something going on that makes dropping off an absolute nightmare. It's not worth the hassle most of the time, the Wakefield in Atkinson is a much better bet. Management needs to hire more staff to run the scale and organize the flow of traffic in and out.
Says its open but I've called a few times for over an hour now and it keeps saying its after hours. They dont even have a local number its an 888 number. Hard to get in touch with these people!
