Embarrassing I will never refer you guys AGAIN! I spoke highly of this company and told my daughter's friend my Boss personally knows the owner, so don't worry they will treat you good!
Not only did they treat her horribly they charged her almost $300 for a 16 mile tow & tried to steal her vehicle by saying its "junk" and when she showed up with my daughter this morning to have it towed by AAA back to her house, they told her if she wants her vehicle back she will have to pay another $135 just for them to bring the vehicle to the parking lot so AAA could tow it and then the lady behind the desk threatened more charges if AAA didn't arrive by 11am! I am so disgusted by the way this company treated my daughter and her friend!
After reading the reviews I see they make a habit out of taking advantage of people in horrible situations and clearly love ripping people off! I hope you guys feel great about ripping off young college kids who already have little income but are going through something extremely traumatic! This company is morally bankrupt and all the lawsuits against them make a lot more sense now!
Nobody ever wants to have to call a tow truck, Big Wheel were professiinal, polite, and sympathetic to the situation. Nice people to work with after a very unpleasqnt experience. Would absolutely recommend them!
Perfect example of what a real towing and recovery company should look like and act! Called big wheel had a vehicle stuck about a mile in the woods the owner, was out to my location in matter of minutes (20). Got me unstuck, had a couples laughs and am extremely grateful for the service I was provided! Highly recommend very nice owner, and respectable establishment!.
I needed a container moved asap, they asked for pictures, followed up right away, gave a fair price and quickly got the job done. No damage to the property or the vehicle, they clearly knew what they were doing and did a great job.
Had a trailer rollover .Big wheel showed up with a rotater and 4 other flatbed trucks and 6 men
They got me disconnected from the wreckage
Got my trailer hooked up removed the box, loaded it and got the highway opened up
I can see why Massachusetts has contracted with them . They know what they are doing and do it well .

Today marks the 2 time this company rescued me from a bad situation. Very clean equipment and professional drivers. Responded very quickly and only took like 15 minutes maybe little less,took look at the job,Whit in those 15 minutes, decision was made got me out check my truck to make sure it was safe for me to get back home to my family,and follow me for a few miles whit out even been asked to. Professional job
Bob is a reasonable and personable businessman. Tow driver was professional and courteous at the scene of the accident. Got my car out of the yard to pull personal items very quickly.
My car broke down in the middle of the highway. Big Wheel showed up put the car on the truck and gave me a ride home. I went to Big Wheel 2 days later to put the car on the diagnostic machine to figure out what was wrong with it. Couldn’t get it started. I’m stressed out thinking I’m going to have to leave it here until I can figure out a way to get it towed out of here. One of the owners Eric came over to the car and ended up towing the car to my house without charging me anything, wouldn’t take my money. Everyone that I dealt with was kind and helpful from the guy who originally towed me, the front desk and Eric. I can’t tell you enough how thankful I am. I highly recommend using these guys for any towing needs. Thank you so much Big Wheels & a special thanks to Eric!
I could go on and on this place. They have a state contract so they can do what ever they want. Alice and Desire have no bedside manner. Eric and Bob the owner's are terrible. They made it so hard to get my car out. The make up charges.The tow truck driver who picked up my car said they run classes on how to overcharge people on tows. Best part they cut my cadliitic converter off. They love to take advantage of people in bad situations. Just glad my girlfriend is ok its only a car but what an awful exsperiance at Big Wheel. Stay away if your can.
Very rude very ignorant boss idk how this place is still open had a car accident went to check the status of the car, said it was totaled which I didnt ask that only wanted to know can AAA come grab the car so I could bring it home then I was cursed out by the owner for wanting to bring my car home. Lady behind the desk was extremely rude. There was a scratch on my car I hadn’t noticed before and asked if they had a vehicle report to see if the scratch was there before. They didn’t have a report and accused me of trying to scam them saying we were talking about scratches before we walked in. We did not. All I wanted to see if there was a report of the car before because it is possible the scratch was there before. Bob was nice.
I was in a very stressful situation,, one in a very long line of “hold my breath ,hanging from a string “ scary situations, s where I could have lost everything! If it weren’t for the kindness and empathy of the owner, I wouldn’t have made it through. I’m extremely grateful for his assistance.

The boss wouldn't take me to the trailer after he was paid. He spent time walking and talking to other ppl rather than working. I spent an hr watching him do nothing important.
Horrible guy, everyone else seemed fine. No idea what his problem was, Probably my complexion. I even caught it on camera.
Wanted to charge me $675.00 for a 60 mile round trip on a tractor only tow. JOKE ARTIST!

Do not use Big Wheel towing at all. My car had been towed after police called them. It was recovered stolen. The tow company never called me to tell me that they had my vehicle. When I I asked why this happened they said that they "don't have to tell a customer that they received the vehicle until 4 days after they receive it." 4 DAYS OF CRAZY HIGH FEES!
If your vehicle's registration expired they make you get it towed to your home from their lot. Total scam!
Big Wheel rescued me and I didn't even call them. I had a huge chunk of ice fall on my windshield and shatter it, then ended up stuck in the snow on the side of the highway (best not to ask about the details). They just showed up, we agreed on a price, and they dropped me off with my car. Everyone was super friendly, albeit I think I was relatively calm for someone who'd just had a near death experience. I think the price was fair, but I have never had to pay for a tow, so I thought it was going to be like $1,000 (it wasn't!). My experience with them was perfectly pleasant. Thanks, guys!
These guys are the best! My boyfriend had an accident a few weeks ago and he wasn't able to pay the towing fee all at once. They gave him an excellent discount and also a payment plan which is very helpful and accommodating. Excellent customer service! Many thanks to you guys and I highly recommend this company.
Big wheel towing Towed three of my vehicles illegally. One was a G 3500 Chevy van GVW 10,000 pounds. The other a Chevy S 10. Third was a 20 foot camper they were not being impounded I asked them to tell them to miles down the street at which time I could pay them. Bob Veara and I continuously yelled at me telling That he had a busy day and this was an inconvenience. He then agreed to do it for $1000 to tow the vehicles 3 miles down the road but he wanted the money before he delivered the vehicles cash only! He had no paperwork stating why or who had told him to tow the vehicles. So I called a friend he brought the money over as they were pulling up the driveway He still refused to stop and take the money and bring the The vehicles in the camper 3 miles down the road. Even the police officer that was there told me it was outrageous and I should to contact the Better Business Bureau. Question is $1000 to tow these three items 14 miles away a reasonable price. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau because he’s clearly taking a vantage of me and again has nowhere paperwork verifying that he has the right to tell these vehicles. So he more or less stole them and is holding them hostage to squeeze a few more dollars out of me for storage. Rude belittling double charging his feesm rude belittling double charging his fees
Big Wheel you are the BEST. Called you guys up and you were there within 10 minutes. Was stuck in some heavy mud and was pulled out within minutes. I had the privilege to meet the owner. He had his daughter with him because they were out doing some shopping. He stopped what he was doing to take care of my situation. His daughter got to see that his father went above and beond for the customer. Thank you again for the help. I appreciate it.
Today, 1/30/18, I witnessed this company in action! An ABC Trash truck went over a ledge in the Tractor Supply parking lot in Swansea, MA. They had two crane wreckers and the Recovery Team truck. Extremely impressive! They had patience and focus all the way through even though it was snowing and freezing cold wind. They didn't miss a beat. A job very well done!! Kudos to this company and their team!!! FANTASTIC JOB!
If you're stuck and need any kind of service from this place, best advice is to leave the vehicle and take the loss. RUN! Big Wheel will pinch you for an absorbent amount to tow or "recover" your vehicle. They will lead you with false statemetns and charge you more. They are full of excuses to why they charge so much and i wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Stay away, call AAA!
We had a "recovery" tow that they change close to 5,000 for. Once it was settled with insurance they still charged us more that they agreed on and it had to be cash! shady!!
The people at Big Wheel Towing are great people. My dad got his truck stuck in water today, and when he got back to the shop they treated him so well. They rolled up his pant leggs, helped him to remove his shoes and socks and placed warm towels on his feet. They even gave him some warm chicken soap. Thank you for helping my dad.
Do NOT use this company! My mother was in an accident recently and rather than towing the car to our garage of choice, they dropped it off at their yard. When i discovered that the car was not where it was supposed to be, i called to question it. Not only did i deal with an extremely rude clerk on the phone, i was tag teamed by her coworker who was yelling in the background. I was fed a bunch of lies from start to finish. Needless to say, they were taking advantage of our situation as the car is probably totaled = more money they make on the storage fees. Please avoid at all costs. They are definitely a crooked company...and the staff is extremely unprofessional and ignorant.
I had an antique military 10 wheel truck (20,000lbs) that I was bringing to get tires and some work done after recently purchasing. The State cops pulled me over for not having a sticker and I had forgotten my paperwork that showed I was within my 7 day grace period. State cop said you're getting towed and Big wheel was the towing company. I had vissions of a $1000 bill for a truck this size, Big Wheel driver was a gentleman, called in to the boss who must have had a heart and charged me less than half that and brought the truck where I needed it to go. Pretty generous if you ask me.
